Don’t laugh with clients name when you call. If you don’t know how to pronounce it, just call spell it. Why you guys laughing at me. It’s very annoying.

Today I had my second visit with the Lab at the urgent care clinic in Cochrane & I have to say that both times I am so grateful that I came here.

My first time I had a lovely technician who was kind & supportive of me & my fears due to the fact that I have small veins & some negative past experiences associated with needles because of such. She went above & beyond to make sure I was taken care of & in & out without a worry.

This time, I realized I had to get bloodwork done that I forgot about earlier in the week & wanted to make sure I got it in before the long weekend. Admittedly my fear took over today & after hearing the blood being drawn it was enough to cause a near fainting episode. The technician who was taking my blood was so beyond caring & supportive, she made me feel secure & safe in such a weird experience. I felt bad for having such a reaction but she assured me & made me feel taken care of in a similar fashion to how the other lady did my previous visit.

As someone who has never experienced such a profound bodily experience from blood work before & who already is afraid of needles, I am so so thankful that I was with the Cochrane team today because I needed that care especially because I had my children with me & the entire team made efforts to help us all feel ok.

Had I been somewhere else I doubt I would’ve received the same treatment as having gone to other labs in the past - you’re treated as more of a number than a person.

I want to say my sincerest thank you to the team for continuing to improve my experiences with lab work & for helping me feel trusting in the entire process regardless of my reactions.

You guys are truly the best & I’m so happy to live somewhere with such an amazing medical care team.

Recently privatised and the staff reduction is obvious. Service here used to be prompt and friendly. Anything but now. Terrible experience but lots of signs telling customers to behave themselves!

Checked in and was taken care of within 15 minutes. The staff were great made me feel at ease, can't say that I'm looking forward to going there again but I'm a senior so I will be going there again and I know that the service will be great.

Service received today for a blood work was very poor, with very long wait time (even with an appointment). Arrived early for a 9: 30AM appointment and checked in. Finally got the blood work done after waiting for 2 hours! Staff were slow, non attentive, don't care attitude. For the 2+ hours of wait, client could have driven to Calgary instead and drove back and get done sooner. Similar couple of bad past experiences with this location. It's a hit or miss. With "Hit" being normal as expected, and the "Miss" being very very bad. If you're looking to book at this location, beware of the possible and highly-probable bad experience with long wait times, negative don't care attitude, multiple pokes looking for your vein, and other lame excuses. Don't say I didn't warn you! Higher chances of better experience in some Calgary locations (if driving times to/from permit your individual case).

Easy to book.but stood in line behind one other for 10 minutes to get to the desk. Looking forward to this new group getting the hang of things.

Took my granddaughter into Cochrane for blood work today, not quite two! Everyone was amazing and they have a fun room for young kids. Thanks so much!

Went 2 times for my blood work.
Joanne did great job as i m difficult person to find vein in my both hands.
Recommend go in walk-ins if u find long waiting appointments

I am very pleased with the service I receive every time and I go there every week! The entire Laboratory Testing team is friendly and competent. The great work everyone is doing deserves the 5 star rating, especially during these challenging times. Thank you!

Called to make an appointment and was told there was no need and just to come in. When I arrived, they asked me if I had appointment and that I may wait 1.5 hours. What game are they playing here? Made me wear a mask even though waiting room was empty, and then I see staff walking around NOT wearing masks. If there's one thing people dislike it is Arbitrary enforcement of rules.

I've been going to this location for about 6 months or so, 1 visit per month, and I've found there to be no issues. The ladies are doing their thing, getting people through and if its busy, guess what? You have to wait! People that think you should be in and out in less than 5 minutes are crazy. I always expect to wait because I always go " walk in " so I never have any expectations. Yes, if you have an appointment you should be able to be seen within a reasonable amount of time but sometimes, it just doesn't work.

Do not go here if possible. More then once I have booked here and they run very behind. Even with an appointment I have waited more then an hour!
