Alberta Pro Movers led by the team of Adam, Mike and Heston were absolutely fantastic to deal with! Professional, Courteous, Efficient and Respectful and got job done in a time frame far quicker than expectations! What more could a person ask for! Highly recommend!

I've chatted with many moving companies before and Alberta Pro Movers were by far the best option and I'm glad I chose them!
I had a water leak and had to remove all contents in order to replace flooring, James and Steve worked very efficiently while keeping my belongings safe!

I was worried about picking a mover with a lot of the stories you hear from people. But this company and the guys were excellent. They asked questions, moved everything with care. Move was from Calgary to Camrose. They were there on time and had everything packed in two hours. They drove to Camrose unloaded and we're back on the road again within two hours. Best company in my eyes and would used them again in a heart beat.

Didnt do as i asked them too and then they said that they were not going to do it as i asked them first since they were gone, although i had paid for 3 hours and i calles them back before that time was elapsed. Also he was being sarcastic and refused to pick up my second phone call after they refused to help

Booked them a month in advance, and morning of our move we got a call saying they will not show up since two of their vehicles/crews are out of town and the third is out of commission. Despite this being their problem of poor fleet management, we got no help from them afterwards scheduling at the last minute replacement movers and were evasive in returning our deposit. Way to care guys!

I would not recommend this company at all. Stephanie was absolute angel to work with. However, we hired three movers and only 2 showed up. We had moved 90% off the household contents to our garage, a move that was supposed to take 8 hours ended up taking 15 (moved from the Foothills to Medicine Hat) Some of our items received damage in the move. My husband and myself have both tried calling, and emailing Ryan and a month later still nothing. We emailed him copies of the photos as well as quote to have a very expensive sewing machine repaired (the movers claimed they thought it was a suitcase and tossed it up into the truck). I have filed a complaint with the BBB, next step lawyers.

If you value your belongings, time and money move on and find another moving company.

Our friends had a great experience with Calgary Movers ABPro. After spending some time looking for moving companies Calgary and reading bunch of reviews they finally called these Calgary movers. Stephanie was much of help, the price was quite affordable and they scheduled their move. Movers Calgary arrived in time and did their work quite professionally. No damage was done to any belongings, everything was packed and transported with care. No extra or unexpected fees were applied. We highly recommend Calgary Movers ABPro for all your moving needs!

This is the second time we used moving services of Calgary Movers ABPro moving company. These movers are definitely best in Calgary! My family had the most complicated move for last 5 years as we were moving to a new place in downtown Calgary. But after talking to manager Adam I felt confident as he arranged everything: movers, trucks, drivers, packing and I got best price deal ever! Indeed their strong points of exclusive service are people, experience, best rates & pricing, customer service, speed and efficiency. We got 3 huge trucks to move all our furniture, stuff, belongings and as result Calgary movers ABPro managed to move all my house less then in 7 hours of heavy work!

Yes you right it was 6 hours plus one hour standard for a total of $1200, but the final invoice exceeded $2000 since the number of hours were higher than the estimate with no changes on the actual scope of work. So, my review is still valid, job technical job, miss the initial estimate.

Cant recommend this company enough! Not only was their pricing spot on and less than what I was quoted originally, but they were so professional and friendly! They were very fast and treated all of my stuff and boxes with care! This was the least stressed I have ever been while moving! I will continue to recommend this company to everyone I know! I received some quotes from a few moving companies. While the amounts of hours on the quotes were all the same, Alberta Pro Movers was the best priced. I had some correspondence between the office and myself prior to the move and Stephanie was always more than helpful.
The movers arrived on time to the minute (which was great as I was being charged for the elevator rental). I was packed and ready to go which I'm sure was helpful but the three movers (Jacob's crew) were friendly, fast and were careful with my items. Even though they are paid by the hour, they were quick and no items were damaged. Would reccomend Alberta Pro Movers to anyone needing a moving company.

The did a good job. Not good when they estimated the time, initially said 3 hours and ended spending 10. So be aware of add lots of contingency when you get an estimate from them.

Not the best experience at first but after everything was sorted out it was much better.

First of all they only had 1 working dolly as the 2nd dolly they brought didn’t move? ! So I told them they could use 1 that I had purchased so it would speed things up as I was being charged by the time it took them to get it done. We also believe that they put a hole in the wall in one of the rooms, unfortunately I wasn’t watching over them every second WHICH YOU NEED TO DO. They said after they moved a box into one of the bedrooms that there was a previously existing hole, why wouldn’t they bring me in their before they put the boxes down to tell me? ! The hole was right where they put the stuff in the room and we had just did a pre-inspection a day or 2 before & there wasn’t anything.

The movers were fine, they were friendly but in all honestly they were a bit slow and things took longer then they should have. My fiance & I could have moved the stuff with a uhaul in less time as everything was packed and ready to go for them.

The move also cost us way more then quoted and they have hidden fees, they charge an extra 10% of the total amount in gas as well as an hour extra for travel (which is pretty standard). Overall a move that should have been done in 2.5-3 hours took 4, not worth the almost $700!

Update: After speaking with the manager Adam, we figured everything out and they were willing to rectify these issues and address my concerns. He was fair and seems to actually care if you aren’t happy, all in all a much better experience after getting everything sorted out!

I can't recommend having professional movers enough. Moving is stressful, everyone knows that. Having bad movers is even more so. Having professional, efficient, and reasonably priced movers? Complete game changer. Adam and Taylor were exactly this. They were accommodating to last-minute elevator changes, a seemingly chaotic schedule, and were just kind and keen individuals. You get what you pay for – it's not cheap, but the benefits go far beyond.

Highly recommend. They made moving my furniture look easy from an apartment downtown to a basement suite with stairs that turned. They shrink wrapped my furniture to avoid rain and being damaged. They went above and beyond in my opinion. The guys were also super professional.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. DISHONEST, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE
We hired them to do a large move for my sister who just came out of hospital ftom a heart attack. On the day of move they packed her room and one box went misssng with all her vintage jewelry and some other vintage binoculars and items. The put a box in the cab of the truck, when I asked Tyler why it wasn't placed in the back he stated it wouldn't fit, yet I and my sister saw there was still room but he assured me it would be offloaded.
Well, they offloaded it somewhere else because it never made it to my sisters house.
When she discovered it missing, she discovered her other box that had her lesser value jewelry had been opened with the tape torn off and rifled through and this box was unmarked but all other boxes were marked from her bedroom. We found this suspicious since this other box containing jewelry was opened and unlabelled.
She searched the entire house through all boxes looking for the other box of her missing vintage jewelry.
Now about 2.5weeks after the move, we are convinced it was stolen, called the moving company and they have been belligerent, rude, unhelpful and continue to give out misinformation on handling this. We have filed a police report and had a most unpleasant conversation with their manager Adam. This guy all but accused my sister of lying, he kept overtalking me when I tried to explain what transpired, kept cutting me off, called me arrogant when he was behaving like a rude, disrespectful jerk.
This company is not only dishonest as they employ people who steal others property but their receptionist is unhelpful by giving misinformation and it seems outright lying as she would say one thing and then her manager Adam contradicted what she told me, that is when he would let me speak without him yelling and interrupting.
If you deal with them, keep your valuables close as you may not see them again and Adam or anyone in this company will not offer any resolution or assistance, absolutlely rude and worst follow up customer service.
Few other points, they also damaged two pieces of furniture and futon bed and a cabinet, they didn't count, tag and inventory check boxes like real professional moving companies do. When I contacted them about the theft, they didn't offer us the option to make an insurance claim, I understand from speaking to other companies they all do so and as mentioned, the receptionist would tell me something only to find out it was not correct. Plus, they charged us an additional $1300 on the move, I even bought these guys pizza and tipped all five of them $30 each. Wish I hadn't done that in hindsight since it now seems like I rewarded them for their theft and dishonesty.
Oh, one more thing, when I told him I was going to be posting this and other reviews he (Adam, the manager) threatened to sue me for defamation, claims he's a lawyer. Well, go ahead Adam, there well may be a lawsuit in your future from my family relating to the theft of my sisters valuables as the police are investigating, they seemed very interested in pursuing this - as are we.

I’d like to express special thanks and Give my highest recommendation to Alberta Pro Movers and specifically Adam, Tyler and Casey. Anyone who knows our family, knows that the circumstances of us moving up to High Level from Okotoks have been very challenging in the last several months.

We had to reschedule the move several times even needing to move our stuff into storage because of the wildfires in the area. This allowed us to have a coworker friend of mine stay in our home a little bit longer because she was evacuated as well.

The entire team was super flexible and Adam and Stephanie were responsive to concerns no and honest throughout the move. In giving us our quote they were able to stick to it despite some challenges with needing extra packing and an extra truck!

They moved us in today and did a fantastic job. It was 26° in High Level with a thick smoke that looked like fog. We all smell like campers and it was really hot.but they never complained and were kind despite me accidentally telling them the wrong place to move things on a few occasions.

The truck was well packed, items were well protected and kept clean. Floor was protected with Runners and they were able to put items where I requested them. They were overall just a fantastic team I would strongly and highly recommend them to anyone moving!

First time using a moving service, was nervous after hearing so many horror stories over the years. These guys were 5 star! I would rate higher if I could. From the first moment that I called and spoke with Stephanie. She was kind, clear and did not waste any of my time. The guys called me when they were on their way over and arrived on schedule. The guys that took care of my move were clean, friendly, VERY fast, and most importantly treated they my things with as much care as I would as the owner. Nothing but fast and professional. One of the managers, Adam, happened to be in the area, he stopped in just to say hello and even moved a couple things while he was there.

Great moving company - excellent communication. Quick in loading and unloading all items. Made a tiny ding in the drywall but scheduled an internal staff member to patch up the ding and paint over it at no cost very quickly from when we moved. Would highly recommend!

I had 3 movers and 1 truck and I couldn’t be happier! They called me the day before to confirm my move as well as the next morning when they were on their way. The movers were respectful of both me and my belongings. They did their job with exceptional skill and speed. They asked to take a break (I’ve never had movers ask before and as far as I was concerned they didn’t need to ask- they work super hard!) and they asked before filling their water bottles and using the washroom- respectful to the nth degree! They were recommended to me by a friend who used them after the movers she had booked didn’t show! What an amazing, professional, respectful company! I would highly recommend them!

I strongly commend and recommend Adam, Keith, Troy and Jess. They are very accommodating with my request, never complained when it was -30degC outside during the move and were very careful and thoughtful in protecting the house and the items itself. They would wrap my items with cloth or place cloth over railings. If the move was unsafe, they would let me know what can be done and never tried to over do it. I would say they deserve a big fat raise/ bonus as they represented the company well and were hardworking.
