Al's boy's have deleted a handful of Mercedes cars and a full 3" inch dual for a 92GT mustang and 4 Diesel truck's over the year's and I've never had an issue yet, the work is fast and clean and all the guys at the shop are great to deal with, big city shop small town vibe.

If I could give this place a negative five stars, I would. This shop charged me over $500 to get two muffler deletes on my 23 Kia Stinger. Man, they did a HORRIBLE job… Whoever did the welds must’ve been drunk and on drugs! I would NEVER recommend this shop! Straight up garbage work.

I must say I have a few problems with this shop. Mainly with communication and how I had been treated overall. Story follows, but tldr, I wouldn't recommend this shop to my friends or family.
**Update: took the exhaust off for an unrelated reason, weld quality is so bad I have an exhaust leak.

I had been given a quote for $400, in person, we looked under the vehicle together. Then I was told to come back in the morning at opening because there's no way to book an appointment. I think, ok well $400 isn't terrible I guess. So I show up at 7: 55am and the shop is already open so not sure when the true opening time is. And I felt late dropping the car off even though I was 5mins early.

Nonetheless, I get a phone call at around 1pm, asking what type of car I have. They didn't take down anything more than my key and my phone number? So I explained who I was and which car I had. And what work I wanted done on it (for the 3rd time now)

By 3pm I get another phone call saying that the price is now $590 because they wanted to build a new pipe rather than use the existing one. Thankfully they were able to use the old one and get the price lower at my request, but still well over the in person estimate. When doing the estimate the guy again was super condescending and apathetic.

Finally by 445pm I show up and my car is still on the hoist, I pay and the guy says that it'll be only 10more minutes. Okay cool, so I ended up finally having my car and leaving at about 545pm, that's a big jump. Thing is, they guy who told me 10minutes, never actually asked the techs who were working on the vehicle.

The communication was just so poor, I don't even know what to say. On top of this, anytime I spoke to the front man, it was incredibly condescending and overall unhelpful, it felt like I was bothering the guy when I was asking for a timeline for the car to be picked up or why the price seemed to fluctuate by hundreds of dollars. I got the feeling like "We're doing you a favor here by working on your car"

***Recently I had to take my exhaust off for an unrelated reason, upon doing so, I noticed how disgusting the welds looked. And turns out they are so bad I have an exhaust leak as a result. They told me that they built the y-pipe outside of the car, so I have no idea why this piece looks so horribly done. Would never go back and would not recommend to a friend. Basically they say they are doing good quality work, but expect you never to actually look at it.

Brought my car in first thing in the morning as they are a first come first serve they were wonderful the entire time letting me know what needed to be done and giving a accurate quote prior to starting any work! Had my flex pipe replaced my car is running smooth and quite! Picked it up from Al and he let me know all the details on the warranty of my part and what his shop offers Thank you:)

Updated! WOW CANT SAY ENOUGH GREAT STUFF ABOUT THIS PLACE! WAS THERE TODAY OCT 6/23 FOR SOME MORE FUN EXHAUST WORK on my Bimmer (I'm obsessed!) Very Knowledgeable Owner and Staff! INSTALLED AN X-PIPE! Sounds Freaking EXOTIC! SO LOVE IT! AND SO LOVE THE WORK AN QUALITY AND PRICE! PEOPLE YOU will not find a more authentic shop with an owner in Al and his staff as genuine as these guys. Honesty has been lost in almost everywhere you go for your vehicle now a days BUT not these guys.and the Workmanship WOW incredible. KEEP UP THE HONEST GREAT HARD WORK YOU DO It does not go unnoticed!

Great service for a sucky situation.
My partner and I had the catalytic converter stolen from our car and were frustrated to be quoted significantly more than we were willing to pay at other shops. Calgary Muffler (and specifically this location) was amazing. Super honest and reasonably priced. Very fast service. They were pretty busy, but got it to me when they said they would! I would recommend them to anyone!

A simple job of replacing a flange gaskit was estimated to be about $650. I got it done for $180 the same day.

Big thanks go out to Nick and Al at Calgary Muffler Carline on McLeod Trail. This is a fabulous shop, the problem I took my car in for ended up being a minor fix! Not only did they have it done and ready to be picked up in about 2 hours on a Friday morning (before a long weekend) but they also did it at no charge. Thanks for great service and such a positive experience!

I wouldn't go there. I booked a appointment a month earlier. Check in a week a way. All good. The day before I Check in again, to be put off till Friday, Check in on Friday and was met with a very rude response from AL that it would be over time and so on to stay to complete the job that was book 3 days before and one month before that.

Great guys here. First come first serve, I dropped my car off when they opened and it was finished that day. Had a damaged flex pipe causing noisy idle and acceleration and they got my ride purring nicely again.

First time there. Great service all around! They were knowledgeable, helpful and very fast!

They did a great job on a custom exhaust for my 2023 Jeep Compass 2.0 liter turbo. The car picked up some HP during acceleration, and now sounds way better than with the factory setup.

These guys are awesome. Did muffler work on my 2019 Mustang. Got me in an Fixed same day and very fair price, highly recommended! Dealership tried to charge me 6 times the price! Calgary mufflers honesty and professionalism is refreshingly appreciated! Keep it up, great job!

Reading the reviews and via personal experience, I suggest you take a look at your exhaust system to make sure they used the correct sized tubing.

My car is factory supercharged and needed a new exhaust system. I brought it into these guys to take a look, explained the size of tubing I needed and why. The one older guy there with glasses was busy checking out an old muscle car and basically told me what my car needed for tubing. I told him no, I own this car and I know what exhaust pipe tubing size per the OEM manufacturer. He told me to pound sand that he knows what he's doing and will put the size of tubing he sees fit on which was 0.5" smaller than OEM. Suffice to say, the arrogance and lack of knowledge was concerning for me so I went somewhere else.

Fast forward to today. I need some work done on another car and thought to check the reviews on this place first - perhaps it was just off day for the guy I spoke with? But after reading the one posters review about them using piping much too small for his truck, this reminded me of the incident I had at Calgary Muffler the end of last summer 2022. So yeah.just be aware.

These guys did up the muffler on our 4Runner. Top notch service for a very fair price. Cant recommend them enough

Super professional and efficient, brought in my car today at 7: 45 in the morning because of the exhaust noise issue (bothered me for a while) was fixed before 8: 30 and only cost me $63. Definitely will go back for any exhaust work in the future

They have great service and are great at offering alternatives rather than the most expensive option whenever possible.

Work done well and fast. Gave me a less expensive alternative to help my situation. Owner was nice. Good customer service.
