Leaches. That's the only way you can describe people who make their living off taking money from others for "violations" they aren't even guilty of. They don't care if you have evidence or extenuating circumstances. They just want your money, and will hurt your credit rating if you don't bend the knee.

Garbage service of a pathetic attempt to collect funds for failing social programs of city of calgary.
They will take your car in 3 minutes but will take you a week to get it back all while they charge you to hold it for the price of a 5 star hotel. Nowhere in the world they two so much for such small reasons. Clearly a way for the city to make extra funds. To justify their sad existence

Today, I watched two other people along with myself get rejected from being able to pay to get their car out of impound because you can only use a credit card with a name matching exactly the same as your license. Recently married? Too bad. Using the card of the person the car belongs to? Too bad. You can use a debit card that does not belong to you or have your alternative last name, but no other way. Not only did we call the staff ahead of time to let them know someone other than the owner would be picking it up, we also brought a letter and all documentation, 3 hours later I had to empty my entire back account to pick up a vehicle that wasn't mine. You can't do it online and you can't have the owner call in their card number. If you've recently gotten married, you'll have to wait for a new card to be issued to you before you can get your vehicle out. No sympathy whatsoever from the staff. They will go completely robot-mode on you. Seriously guys, you're getting such easy money, why not show a little humanity?

Doesn’t even deserve a 1 star. These street cleaning tickets are just a money grab. As others have said don’t try to appeal a ticket because not matter what they have a policy set in place to not help you. Hope they’re happy to take $240 dollars worth of living expenses out of my pocket even though my street is clean.

0 star. This place is operated by mentally ill people. I bet to get job at CPA there is IQ test. If you below 20 you automatically become part of the team. While somehow I could understand one person being idiot and issuing you a ticket, then after providing all details they still kick you in the b. No I don't have time to go to court now, plus it would become more expensive then the ticket.
I stopped by the job site where apparently street cleaning supposed to be happening (NO STREET CLEANING SIGN), Went in to open doors and get tools out of truck. Guess what happened at that very moment?
Too bad builder, or garbage company did not get ticket for their construction garbage bin which was right in front of my truck.

Just to reply to your response, this is exactly what I did. Took you over 4 weeks to finally send computer reply IMO saying ticked was issued correctly. This response here looks like also automatic reply. Again you all at parking authority are sick in your heads. All!

Wish the store was a bit roomy. Other than that, I loved shopping there before covid. They were the cheapest store. Prices have jumped there, but the good thing about this store is that u can still get good deals. Roast ranges from 6.00 to 12.00 when on sale I understand that the transportation companies are the ones that jacked food prices being dellivered, but this store still tries to maintain their local.

I wouldn't want to share my experience, nonetheless the Judge was nice, the Crown counsel was trying all her best to get me to pay for an offense that was clear was due to mechanical fault with proofs and receipts and I was not even the one driving, a friend borrowed my car.

Received a ticket that could not be paid online and directed us to the wrong location downtown to pay. Once we actually found the right location it was alright but those tickets shouldn't be in circulation anymore.

I pay a parking stall MONTHLY in front of my apartment. I work two jobs and every time I come home from my work. Theres ALWAYS someone parked on my paid stall. Even though management are aware of this issue and management has sent several emails about not parking in the reserve parking but seems like people don't know how to read. My apartment management gave us this number to call but unfortunately.we are unable to get a hold of someone today as its now closed. It's not even 8. I understand its during the holidays.what is the point of this number?

Would love to give you guys my money but you have toddlers programming your website so I am unable to. Guess I have to wait more so you can take more of my money. WOO!

I’ve had a vehicle in front of my house now for 8 day’s and it hasn’t moved. Alberta highway traffic act says a vehicle can only be parked for 72 hours without moving. I have called 3 times in the last 4 day’s to have someone come out and still nobody has shown up. All they tell me is it’s under investigation. You actually have to come out to investigate! What a joke! Our city is so poorly managed in all areas yet we pay so much tax!

Notice all the reviews are one star.this is because the Calgary Parking authority behaves like an authoritarian organization. Not allowing disputes and issuing ticket willy nilly. For example, at a doctors office in Gulf Canada Square, my paid parking went over by 5 minutes, although payment for an hour was made, the CPA feels $95 is justified. This system needs a serious over haul, taking the City back to a reality check.

Was told to move my vehicle or it would be towed so I moved it to show it’s not abandoned and they still towed it anyways.

I'd give a zero if I could, Calgary Parking Authority is an absolute joke. This winter the lazy clowns that put out the snow removal signs don't bother to put any anywhere near our house. My gf gets a ticket anyway, appeals it and is told yes there were signs. Ya 2 blocks away, bigger scammers than the cra fake phone calls!

This is the place where they ripped you off. Don’t even dare to go close to these people. Ruthless doesn’t care about common people.

They make it beyond impossible For us to offer anything at the park because they’re so excited to have some level of authority and say in what we do. Must feel important for once. Lol.
They refused us to use the on sight storage so we had to get our own storage area. Even though there is an entire room that they don’t use. They are just unbelievably unreasonable.

They refuse to let us use the restroom so we have to hope someone nearby will let us in to use the restroom.

We have nothing to offer at the park and yet CPA ensures they take all season to approve anything.so by the time anything gets approved, we will be shut down until spring.

I have no respect for these people whatsoever and can understand why everyone else has no respect for them either. We will literally have to contact the MP to get anything done because of how miserable CPA is to deal with.

The social contract is that I will pay for parking but you must keep your machines in proper working order. When you fail on your side of the relationship, then I should not be held responsible.

When the organization which issues the fines is the same one that adjudicates the appeal, that is corrupt.

Another cash grab for the great city, street cleaning parking issue that I'm sure everyone has gotten or heard about. Great job guys, you must really need our money as we all just have so much extra to give. I parked LEGALLY at 6am on a Tuesday after long weekend and the street cleaning and no parking signs wherer posted for the area after our shift from work around 3pm. We all saw the sign stating cleaning for Wednesday in the area therefore that following day we did not park in the area. However the must have put the signs down at 9am and my ticket was not too far behind them round 10am. So I parked legally then a sign went up when I wasn't near my vehicle all day and now I'm at fault. No warning no notice just a lame letter with a picture in the mail that says pay up. No point taking time off work cause that will cost more money to fight it congratulations.

P.s. I already appealed the ticket and all I got AND others basically a big middle finger thank you
