Calgary Russian Store

My favourite Russian store in the city. Great selection, reasonable prices. Everything is fresh and delicious.

Just moved to Calgary and was super excited to find out we have a Russian store less than a block away! Galina is kind and knowledgeable, and the variety of product the store stocks is exciting. Halva has become a breakfast staple with our morning coffee on weekends, and we're looking forward to trying the homemade halva soon, too.:)

It was rude. I wanted to see if there were eggs in the products, since my husband's family are vegetarians. There was a feeling that the product should not be touched at all. I understand that it is stored in the refrigerator, but if I look at the composition for half a minute, then nothing will happen. And the store would have new regular customers.and so very upset.

Best homemade food: khachapuri, khinkalli, pelmenis, kholodets, etc.very nice and lovely owner cooks almost everything from scratch.

Creepy store, walked in and the overall feeling of the place was creepy, didn't buy anything cause I don't speak russian but i'm sure it's decent food.

Great customer service, neat, well-organized & well maintained store. We’ll definitely come back & recommend it to anyone. PS … and their honey cake is definitely to die for!
