Calgary Shawarma

I wish I could give 10 stars. Stumbled upon this spot randomly. The owner was fast, friendly and funny. We had some good laughs as he made up my donairs. Offered a sample of the beef with a different sauce. All around great experience. Would highly recommend and will be a return customer!

Th food is amazing and the service is better. If you need food it is a great place to stop and get something on the go.

This place has the best Shawarma iv had in the city, the food was so delicious and i could tell every ingredient was made with care. The place had personality and good vibes as soon as I went in. The staff had good energy and shared some treats while I waited for my food and had good conversation. Highly recommend

Très délicieux! Je suis venue à Calgary et j ai trouvé ce beau restaurant. Vraiment, la bouffe ici, elle est très très bonne. J ai goûté beaucoup de chose ici. On était une groupe de famille et on a partagé tout (donair, shawarma, les brochettes, poulet entière et même la potine. Je vienne de Montréal et j ai jamais goûté une potine délicieux comme cela. Sérieusement, ils ont une grande variété de choix. Ils sont vraiment généreux et très gentil. Le plus important aussi qui sont très propre et ils prennent soins de leurs clients. Si vous passez par là! Vous voulez jamais regretter.

You’ve got some options for shawarma/donair in the area, but this is the right choice. Both beef and chicken are always perfectly seasoned. Sauces are flavourful, proportions are perfect. The man who runs this place does so with enthusiasm and care. Prices are low, quality is very high. A business worth supporting.

Best donair i ever had samosas were delicious as well, reasonable price and the owner is very friendly

These are easily the best shawarmas in Calgary. The owner is also super friendly, making a pleasure to stop in. The only downside is that it's not close enough to my house.

Do yourself a favor and order a chicken shawarma with everything. It's amazing and only $11.50 if I recall correctly. This place definitely deserves more recognition among Calgary's shawarma restaurants.

Haven’t been to this spot for a while, but remembered it being pretty great shawarmas. My recollections were correct and had another great lunch. Samosas are solid too. Will be back sooner next time!

This is the best shawarma place in Calgary. The owner is a fantastic welcoming guy. And you can get the most delicious middle eastern food in the city. I highly recommend people to come over here.

Letting anti maskers in when the stores only allowed 3 at a time with a mask, I was upset, the foods good but not worth catching Covid19 from ignorance, the person behind the counter has control of his store, that person should have been asked to leave. Plus the Anti maskers where rude and Smug, it was a nice place in the hood not no more, words out️️‍️

The man who works here, likely the owner, is simply wonderful. He is funny, friendly and caring. He remembers his customers! His prices are great and he isn't afraid to throw in some freebies. The food is also perfect! Free parking, easy location to get to, clean, and wonderful. I love this place, I love this guy!

The guy behind the counter is a hoot; it's almost like dinner and a show. The meat and sauce are amazingly flavourful. Unfortunately, like most donairs, the wrap does not absorb the sauce so it leaks causing a mess. (even though I kept the wrapper on the part I wasn't actively biting into.) Also his mask slipped down throughout the serving process and he didn't fix it.

Thank you for dinner! I had the house plate: Tabouli, hummus, three grape leaves, two falafels, and I choose the mixed meet Chicken & Donair, with a tasty aioli or garlic sauce and a pita.
The food was amazing, fresh and so full of flavor. The gentleman had to put up with me for an hour while my car was being repaired, he was so nice and thoughtful, very social. He has a great business and delicious food. You should eat here!

I've worked across the street at Boogies for 6 years, and when I'm not in the mood for burgers I always go here. I'm pretty the guy that owns/runs it is the only person who works there and he's literally the sweetest guy on the planet. The food is always amazing, the portions are generous, the prices are more than fair, and whether it's busy or slow you'll get the friendliest service in the city every time. Definitely go here and support this place!

The wrap was very plain and when I asked for a refund they asked me to leave the store I was very furious, you’re guys customer service needs to get better

I was craving a shawarma & was driving around with my partner to find a place opened around 10am ish, as most places aren't opened till about 11am. We came across Calgary Shawarma which was luckily opened. We ordered a large & small beef shawarma. It was delicious & definitely satisfied my cravings! The gentlemen working there was very friendly & provided excellent customer service! I'm glad to be supporting a local business like this in these unprecedented times. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone who enjoys great food & appreciates quality service!

Delicious shawarma. Love the beef as its moist and packs good flavour. The sunshine and garlic sauces take the shawarma to the next level. Always a pleasure stopping by and enjoying a great meal.

Not just the amazing quality And flavour of the food, but mainly the atmosphere, price, and over all feel of the place.
You know when you go to grandmas house? It kind of feels like that.
You feel at home, and very well taken care of.
The size is very generous and the price is very reasonable.
I think it’s like 8 dollars or less.

This place is a must try. Recently tried this place and I am hooked! First, the service is great. Very friendly and everyone is smiling and respectful. The food is great. So tasty and very fresh. You can get a platter or a shawarma wrap. Both are awesome. I get the wrap and for $11.50 it's a lot of wrap. They have chicken, lamb and beef and make it how you want it. There's a Shawarma Palace in Forestlawn and one also in Falconridge.

Don't be fooled by the location. This is, hands down, the best shawarma in the city and there's no better guy than the owner.

One of the best Shawarma places in Calgary, tasty fresh food with great service with a welcoming smile. I love their checken Shawarma the samosas are the best I highly recommend this place.

The best Shawarma I've ever had. I have traveled throughout the middle east recently. I have never ran into to someone who takes so much pride in delivering amazing, quality food and conversation. I wish I was local, as i would eat here frequently. If you are in the area, you owe it to yourself to try this once in a lifetime food!

This is definitely the place you should visit if you want to have your Shawarma fix. And dont forget to ask for Mad Dog Hot Sauce! Choose the 1M and you'll life will never be the same again. Trust me.

Quaint, family owned place and has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. Ate there for the first time today and will definitely be back, great service and conversation from the gentleman working today. Def recommend.

The best donairs in town! This place really reminds me of what Jimmy's A&A use to be when the owner use to run the place before it changed. The owner is super friendly and seems to be always in a good mood. The donair itself was delicious!

The food is excellent, and honestly it's worth going just to chat to the guy behind the counter. He's so friendly and kind that he can lift my spirits even on my worst days. Nothing better than great food and great service, and this place has lots of both.
