The store is very big. After entering the store, the clerk I encountered was unprofessional. First of all, he had a poker face the whole time, even though we were smiling and communicating with him; secondly, I wanted to ask if they have any training courses for taking the gun license test, and they told us that only local residents can take the gun license test. What is it like? Can’t I take the gun license test with a student visa or a work visa?

Fast shipping and good communication but when buying expensive ammo I expect it to come packaged properly items came damaged.

I bought a barrel, stock, receiver and trigger and spent a couple grand. I couldn't get the trigger to reset so I emailed them. The president replied and I was at the range trying to get everything to work. I called him and he was more interested in telling me all the things he couldn't do for me than knowing the details of the problem. I love the shipping speed and the website, but not a huge fan of being talked down to. I was as polite as I could possibly be. I don't know the proper part names or much about gun parts in general but because i confused cycling with the trigger resetting he felt the need to emphasize my lack of knowledge. If you just want to buy something and don't need support then this is a great place to shop. But if you need support, good luck because he will be too busy talking down to you due to your lack of knowledge of firearms to be bothered to help. I apologized for bothering him and took the problem into my own hands.

We spent a few hours at the shooting range here and booked it online via email without any problems.
Our trainer was very nice and competent.
We had a lot of fun on the shooting range and learned a lot too.

We had a great experience as a group of relatively inexperienced shooters. They made us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Blake and Ethan were out instructors. They were very professional and really made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

They will charge you extra money by tell you that you are hitting their floor while shooting.
Only one person was very very nice I don’t know his name he was from Philippines.

It was my first experience here holding a Glock 9mm. Pretty simple to sign in the waiver and get inside the range and have some fun. However, you have to wait for a decent amount of time as this place usually has a steady flow of customers.

Brought my partner shooting for the first time here. Ammo prices on website need to be updated as it ended up being ~40% more expensive than we expected. For example, we were charged $39 for 20 rounds of. 308 when the website stated $25.9mm also ended up being more expensive.

Other than that, knowledgable staff and a decently fun time, albeit quite short and expensive.

Really fun experience even if you've never held a gun. I came with a group of friends to try out shooting. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We had a blast and will definitely come back

Visiting from the UK, 6 of us spent a couple of hours on the range under the supervision of Florian, who was super professional and very welcoming. Always felt safety was paramount. Very enjoyable. Would definitely return.

Impatient staff that come across rude. Had to straighten one out. Will never be a customer of theirs again. First visit was ok. Last two were terrible. Never again. I’ll just take my money elsewhere

My dads had a membership here for years so whenever I’m on leave and get a chance to come home we go shooting!

The range itself is modern, clean, and very well put together!

The store front has a lot to offer which is fantastic and dangerous as I always see something I need…. Or maybe want for work! LoL!

I also did a bachelor party here on one of my leave trips home and we had an absolute blast! Pun intended!

For my first time shooting a gun, I had a great time at this range! The staff were super helpful and friendly, and they really give you the time of day that makes you feel welcome. I would recommend this range to anyone looking to have a good time shooting guns

My wife and I had a great time at the shooting centre. Derek was extremely helpful he made sure we were both safe and having fun. They have a great assortment of guns for the range, which was cool because we had very little experience with firearms. Will definitely be headed back soon!

Great staff and great courses. Typically a great selection until all the recent nonsense. Would recommend to anyone looking for firearms training or an overall helpful and professional shopping experience.

Went in last week to pick up a vertx sling, and store was laid out nicely, staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend!

Brought my 12 yr old son there this past weekend and we loved it! Trevor was our instructor and he was safety orientated, informative and funny, he remembered I was a lefty everytime! Plus my son thought he looked like John Cena so he got a kick out of that A ton of really neat guns to choose from too. Such a great time and cost less than I anticipated so that was a plus! Highly recommended!

Their website says that they will price match competitors in stock items but in store they refused to honour that policy. Other than that they have a good selection.

The staff at this place are the real deal IMO.

They know what they are talking about and not just shilling at ya.

I got my PAL at this place (yes, they offer a PAL course). Bought my first gun too. Their catalogue is great.

The place also has an indoor shooting range and is a real joy to be at. We dropped in once as a group and the staff were extremely courteous, safe & knowledgeable and made for a great first time shooting experience.

Also I think this place doesn’t compromise even a tiny bit on gun safety and I’ll feel safe to even leave a toddler around (not that I would).

Range use fees are reasonable too (weekdays are cheaper).

Had a decent conversation with charles i believe his name is today, and really feel at home here.
Very knowledgeable staff, competitive pricing on many items and a selection that will leave you in awe.

The staff is happy to discuss current legislation, the law, and answer any questions you may have

Great fun at the gun range. First time ever firing a gun. Jason, our instructor, walked us through the safety and use of the guns meticulously, which put us at ease. A safe and professional environment.

The employee who was helping us didn't want to help us. It was a terrible feeling of asking questions and him not paying attention because he was to busy fist bumping with his friends that came in. I walked away feeling like I wasn't important or maybe he just wasn't knowledgeable enough to answer my questions. It wasn't a great experience for a first time gun buyer. When he walked away from us a second person started helping, which was good but at that point I didn't want to be in the store anymore. Not great customer service.

Oh my! I don't know if the internet sales or social media person knows about thier product. I was asking a suggestion but instead I was told they were out of stock intead of telling me a specific product.

Avoid this place at all cost, very dishonest and shady representatives misleading you, they sold me the wrong ammo, called them and they said to come and as long as I have my receipt they will exchange it, well guess what? I drove all the way from foothills only to find out they will no longer honor our agreement, of all the ranges I was loyal to this one but no more will I allow to be treated this way, verry arrogant, unwilling to communicate, basically begone attitude they sure lost my business and all my friends as well, go to shooting edge, much friendly staff there that are actually willing to work with you, so for their mistake it cost them thousands of dollars in potential revenue, stay clear from this place if you value your money and time, take notice how no response will be give to to this review as the owner values money more

My wife and i and our 24 year old daughter had a great time. Shot couple of handguns and pump shotgun. Ethan was the instructor/safety person. He was super chill and very positive and helpful with safety being stressed the whole time. We had so much fun. Would highly recommend the facility and the people who work there.

Called for clarification regarding their pricing and the worker who answered spoke to me in such a harsh tone for no reason. He was very rude and condescending 0/5. This is by far the worst customer service representative i've ever spoken to! Do better

First experience at a range, usually just shoot on crownland. Had an amazing experience, all the staff were very helpful and prices are good for what you get. Could spend an entire day there shooting and not get bored. Will definitely be back and will be looking into a membership.

Relax guys, you are technically cashiers. I don't understand the attitude with these guys. I literally walked away from a 2200 dollar pair of binoculars because I didn't like the guy I had to talk to

Wanted to go shooting. They require a minimum 2 people to go for unlicensed. I don't have anyone to go with. So I can't go have fun there. Very unfortunate. Not everyone have friends or friends in the same city. So no friend. No go shooting here. No fun.

So far so good! I bought a membership there last May and it's been a good experience so far. Friendly and courteous and a plus is that they were the only store in Calgary that had a stock of the 303 British cartridge. The range is pretty good too although they were a couple of times they forgot to give me ear and eye protection as I was entering the range but overall it's a good experience!

Bought a firearm here recently and had to get it shipped to me, the staff there was awesome in helping me and the package arrived on time. Had a few questions during the shipment and was helped right away, was a great experience and will definitely continue to shop here.

Friendly, helpful staff able to cater to all levels of knowledge. Great experience renting and using the range. Good variety of rental firearms with relatively reasonable pricing.
Some real gems in the rental category, especially including the ppsh.

I got great service there once. Polite, friendly knowledgeable.the works.that hasn't been of late. Didn't manage to get the part I needed last time nor this time. Guy on the phone barely know where he was or what he was supposed to do. Just can't deal with stupid when it's with gun stuff. Not an option anymore.

Disappointing and rude customer service today (May 31,2021) lost them a sale on a $1600 set of rangefinding binoculars. Called ahead to see if I could look at a pair and see how they look before buying. The guy that answered the phone said he may have to get a box of new ones from the back and I could look at them “only if I was serious” about buying them. I politely thanked him, hung up, drove to Cabelas and bought a pair there. Don’t waste your time on this place.

Fair price, friendly and timely response, easy getting-through phone line, I have to say CSC is a great store for firearms lover. Jacky and Kevin, thank you for your great service!

I went here as a walk-in and shot at the range. They are very patient, knowledgeable and very polite. I will be going back there very soon. Also they have a good amount of rentals.

Good place to purchase firearms and accessories, they keep a decent stock of interesting used firearms too. Our personal experience with the range was not one I would want to repeat, so a bit of a mixed bag.

Took both of my gun courses here, top notch instructors with a tonne of experience. Lots of selections for purchase.

Terrible customer service, told me after I arrived that my shotgun ammo was not allowed so I had to buy theirs and wouldn’t even give me in range credit to come back after I had an issue with my gun. Told me on the phone only one person was allowed per PAL holder but there were PAL holders there with multiple people. Supervisor wears a plastic “mask” that leaves an opening for germs during a pandemic. Supervisor had to ask a question to a manager but walked into the back for 3 seconds and emerged again to say he couldn’t help us at all. I will say though one employee was very helpful with my gun malfunction. Overall horrible experience for me and was way worse because I just wanted to try out a new shotgun I recently purchased.

Best atmosphere in Calgary for a firearms store. Also, they often have prices on firearms below competitors in Canada.

Purchased a new rifle online from CSC. It arrived fast and I was really happy with their price and how well they packed my parcel up. Will probably give them more business in the future.

Made online purchase with CSC, items shipped almost instantly and at a fair price. Would order from them again.

Definitely recommend these guys for their knowledge and willingness to help!

Nicest bunch of firearms enthusiasts I’ve ever met. Was helped by Aaron, the nicest most professional person I’ve encountered recently, nice to see someone who loves his job and likes helping people. Can’t recommend them enough. If you’re a total beginner or have been a firearms enthusiast all your life these are the lads to go to, absolutely massive display cases for every type of interest. Go here, you will not be disappointed.

Me and my boyfriend came in to shoot, although it wasn’t his first time it was mine. We had a gentleman named Jackie help us and he made my experience a thousand times better then I expected. He was gentle, informative and fun to be around. I’m so happy I got to come here and experience the range with such an amazing environment. Would recommend for any first timers.

Bought a Browning assisted open knife that doesn't open as it should. I've purchased 10 dollar gas station knives that operate better. Salesmen informed me to loosen pivot which did absolutely nothing. Finally over two weeks after I purchased the knife, I get an email that I will get a store credit as they won't refund my money. First and last time I order anything from this place, customer service is terrible and knowledge is severely lacking. Do not order from this store!

Took the Firearms Course - instructor was Levis Todd - congratulations on an extremely thorough course and explanation of ALL the important facets of keeping yourself and others safe with firearms Very enjoyable and engaging teaching style lots to learn but Levis took the time to include everything and took all the questions Store has a Huge selection of all the equipment you need for the best experience and the most safety Wouldn't bother going anywhere else Thank you and Congratulations Levis and team!

First time i ordered of this site it was cancelled and refund took awhile to process.

I wanted to give them another chance as there cost and shipping was quicker and cheaper then other sites.

Bought parts for a new rifle from this location as it was cheaper and faster to ship then other stores that did carry the same parts but at a more costly price.

Site showed parts aviliable and even emailed me a tracking number.

Week later i received a email that parts I requested was now out of stock.

I would suggest looking at different site and will not be using them for parts in the future ever.you need to learn how to run a business properly and make sure you have stock before you take customers money.

I went in to look at scopes and was helped by a very knowledgeable and kind woman. I will be back to buy my scope from here. Often in gun stores I have to have my husband with me to get any service Thank you.

I ordered a firearm from their website, payment through e-transfer was quick, order shipped the next day. What else can you say, was a quick simple interaction.

Excellent service and experience. I obtained my restricted and non restricted license here and have been a member for almost ten years.

You can't expect people to support local businesses when you provide atrocious customer service. As per instructions on your website I ordered something on your website that was in stock to pick up in store. Three days later I was driving by the area and called to inquire if I could pick it up, the response "no, our ordering department has to process this, they will email you when it's ready for pick up". Really? You can't just walk down the aisle, grab the SKU, hit a couple buttons on the computer and process this? Then after almost two weeks waiting this email, I emailed to express my disappointment and I receive the response "order cancelled". That's it just "ordered cancelled". Clearly you don't care in the slightest about customer satisfaction. I ordered the exact same item from an online retailer and it shipped within 4 hours.

I like dealing with this store as they have great selection and I like my sales person Ted as he is patient and helpful for whatever questions I have so I only buy from these guys I like they have some of the higher end guns that I like to purchase.

Went with my son to the shooting center. We were both in the market to buy. We waited over 20 minutes and were totally ignored. Couldnt believe it. You just lost two customers. Going elsewhere

Waited at the counter for 30 min, staff member asked if I’d been helped yet. Said not yet & he walked away & helped another customer. ‍️

Awesome experience, amazing staff. I will be back and highly recommend this range. We did a walk-in and our guide was very thorough in teaching us how to shoot. Lots of fun!

Service could be really better, doesn't seems to care much for customers so I decided to order online instead after 3 attempts to their store!
