Turf and lights are very good, washrooms are always clean, and there is enough space if the players have any of their family members to watch, great experience
From the minute, you walk in the door or arrive at the event of a Calgary South West United soccer game, practice or event you feel welcomed and cared for! The best in the region for all competition and age levels, and the coaches, trainers and administrative staff demonstrate knowledgeable and consistent care, support and unity for all players, staff and persons involved. Would recommend this club to anyone looking a hundred times over!
Used to be one of the best soccer clubs in Calgary, for the last few years they have been the worst. I would give them 0 stars if I could, after charging me 2 installments and doing the evaluation for Tier 1, they informed me that they don't have a place for my son, and when we managed to put him in another soccer club, they deny to release his registration. Will definitely never deal with this club again, better clubs out there. I doubt they will even bother themselves to reply back.
An amazing place for player development! Best coaches in the city, along with the best office staff. This is a club where they care about the players and not the money. Always open to feedback and making positive changes.
This should have been advertised as an expensive house league. I was sold on many positive things the team offered, but in reality that's not what it was. Last minute coaches were swapped out for parent coaches.
Poor organization. Coaches are starting practice at least 10 min behind schedule (compared to other where there are always representatives from the club to help with the setup and so the practice is on time). 2 drills and then a game that kids have no idea how to play… oh and the “best” part is we are playing same team ALL SEASON LONG We are very disappointed, will not enroll again and definitely do not recommend
SWU was the third club my daughter has been registered with. She enjoyed playing at the other clubs but to play at the highest level we had no choice but to move. That meant going to one of the five biggest clubs that had the highest registration numbers. This way she could compete with the best and against the best players in the city and province. The fact that SWU is one of only four clubs in the city with a national license and having an indoor facility made it an easy choice. The quality of the coaching at SWU has helped move her game to the next level.
