Friendly and helpful but can be long lines waiting. Also their opening hours are not early enough. 10: 00am.which should be 8: 00am. When the transit has more people coming through for work to make the time more convenient.
Terrible service, an older man had given me the worst attitude for my missing pass, i had tried to explain my situation but was rudely dismissed and only given my wallet back.wont go back again if future needed assistance.
Drivers need to be more observant. Waited for the 90 today at 1st and 10Ave and the bus came about 5 mins early and so before the driver was near the stop I put my hand out and started waving like a maniac for them to stop and instead they proceeded to go into the other lane and drive off. I was pretty annoyed as I had to call my husband to come pick me up.
This isn't a bad rating directly to the place itself or whomever works there, but a complaint against Calgary Transit for providing such little options for the citizens to obtain passes and therefore creating a great deal of stress. In a city of 1.6 million people, HOW do you only have TWO transit customer service centers? ! I was approved for the fair entry low income transit passes and realized how complicated, inefficient, and inconvenient this all is. 1) I have a myID account that is used for fair entry, and it shows on my account that I'm approved. Transit promotes their My Fare app to purchase passes/tickets, and to sign on to that app you can use myID. Yet you cannot buy low income transit passes through the app. WHY? It's the SAME account. 2) To purchase low income transit passes you must go to a specific facility. That's fine, but the options were already scarce and now because of covid19 there's even less (Southland leisure centre is closed, etc). So I have to go to one of the TWO transit centers, that are also only open Monday to Friday and close at 5: 30. I work Monday to Friday until 5. I asked to leave work early so I could be there on time, only to get there and see a lineup of at least 40 people at 5: 15. Now what?
This city has expanded exponentially and many of its citizens use transit, and a good chunk of them utilize the fair entry services. Something needs to change here. There HAS to be more available resources for these people to get what they need so they can travel on a day to day basis, without having to stress over ridiculous wait times, the hours of operation, and locations (seriously. Two.).
The staff here are awesome! Service is super quick and efficient. Everyone I've dealt with who works for Calgary Transit Customer Service, whether over the phone or in person, has been extremely kind and very friendly. Great group of people!
There are smaller cities that have better transit service than Calgary. From internal City workers at Transit, I've heard that Calgary Transit has too many Managers, & not enough workers, who do the real work. We need more frequent buses, & less crowded, so people do not have to stand, - going to work & coming home.
One of the busiest bus fast moving customer service centre of Calgary. Have there for buying bus passes, as well as for lost and found département issues too. Always dealt with with any query politely and professionally.
Shout out to all the bus drivers in Inglewood this morning having to avoid construction by driving and taking small sharp turns onto crowded back roads in rush hour. I'm glad to see we've got some professionals in the industry. My respect for the skills of those who had to drive through Inglewood today has rose immensely. I felt the stress for you all. Great job!:)
Calgary Transit customer service awesome building to go into when you need your monthly bus pass or just help with bus routes very friendly and knowledgeable staff
While the staff here are great and friendly, the system has some serious flaws. One of those is that I guess, for those of you who need fair entry the line is disgusting. Someone in council decided that it'd be a fantastic idea to put the only two places y'all can get the passes right next to each other. So right before the month ends both places are backed up and apparently everyone waits in the same line. I had a meeting very shortly after I was called about my wallet being retrieved and, erroneously apparently, assumed that the lost property clerk would be able to handle me separately. Don't lose anything near months end. The lost property dude was thankfully accommodating.
