Went to see my Dr.after fighting Covid the week before. I tested the day before and had a very faint “positive” line and had a raspy voice but otherwise felt fine. I wore a mask as a precaution, should be noted I was the only one in a packed waiting room full of coughing, sneezing patients wearing a mask, when I told the nurse about my Covid test she immediately started to chastise me for coming in and placed me in the isolation room, went and completely gowned up took my vitals all the while still sternly telling me I could have called (I had cancelled the week before due to being sick with Covid) after she was done I sat for at least 20 minutes only to have my Dr come and stand at the door tell me he renewed my prescriptions without even talking to me about them (which is the main reason I wanted to see him) I asked about seeking out some mental health help, he left grabbed a pamphlet and “reached” it over to me again barely coming in the room. Told me while tapping the side of his head “get this better and we will discuss your sleep aids”
I have never been so humiliated or treated like a leper in my life, absolutely zero compassion or professionalism shown by the nurse or my Dr. I DO NOT recommend this clinic and will seek out advice and treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Gumbs was such a pleasure to see. Fast alongside pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable in his field. Helped ease my nerves with the experience. No pun intended haha.

So far, trying to get someone to answer is a looong process, and I don't have time to sit at my phone to get an appointment. They DO have an on line booking, but of course, it is not working.sigh.so, how DOES one get to see their Dr after waiting so long after Covid etc? Good question! Yeah, I know everyone is busy, and I just need a prescription, but, I am told I have to SEE the Dr to get it for asthma.since its been a long time due to covid. Ok.but I don't have 6 months to wait for it as I am all out now! LOL Still waiting to get the system to work so I can book, which is what the phone message keeps telling me to do. Gotta love technology, right?

2022 Updated review.

Service provided to patients has declined over the years. More staff need to be hired to properly accommodate the workload. If you cannot maintain staffing, maybe start looking at WHY (it's normally a management/pay/HR issue) and start fixing the problem. Having people on hold for long lengths of time, having referrals and radiology bookings pushed back because the person responsible for doing so is getting pulled away from her actual job to help out the front? Not acceptable. How many people have to take their own lives and medical care into their own hands before the concerns about short staffing are taken seriously? Short staffing affects patient care, which leads to people being sick longer, cancers not being caught in time, people being stuck dealing with mental illnesses without proper care, etc. And if it's budgeting, maybe the people at the top can start by reducing their own salary instead of reducing the number of staff. It also leads to staff burn out, and it causes patients to lose faith in the medical professionals around them, even more than they already have.

And FYI, if you want to show you are improving your patient care, stop pointing people to do the online booking if they want to avoid wait times. You know what that says to a patient? That you want to increase profits by not having enough people to man the phones instead increasing staffing so that patients are properly looked after and actually feel cared for.

They do not take a patients mental health into account when an emergency appointment is being requested. Instead, they are passed over, put on hold and flat out ignored.

Always had nothing but great service, reception gals super friendly and nice. Sure, might have a few minutes wait but then where do you go that you don't? Awesome as far as I'm concerned.

Dr. Tim Collins new nurse is fabulous, Whitney at front desk is caring and helpful. Dr. Collins has been looking after me for years and really cares about his patients

I have never been on hold as long as I have with this place. Any other medical office wait time is roughly 5 to 8 mins. The wait time at this place is 30 to 45 mins. I just hung up at that point. I like my doctor there but I'll probably leave due to horrible reception service.

I've been coming to this clinic for years, always had good experience.but the last two times I've been there, there's been this one person that acts so anoyed if you forget to say what doctor you're there to see. I understand you probably get tired of that all day, but I don't need to be treated like that.

Called multiple times through the day. With no answer at all. All it says you can’t leave a voicemail because it’s an unattended mailbox. This is ridiculous! My doctor transferred from Bigelow Fowler South where I had no issues for years. (Not a reflection of my amazing family doctor)

Have had nothing but positive experiences with folks in reception. Helpful, patient, courteous. Melissa is great. So friendly.

One issue needs to be dealt with though - being placed on hold for 20+ minutes while trying to book an appointment listening to the guy on the recording apologize repeatedly is not very professional for a medical clinic. (Reminds me of Telus.) Hire more staff for reception, especially when they have a full complement of clients/patients.

Terrible communication from reception. Reception desk was rude and simply wanted to hang up the call. Was given conflicting information about walk-in appointments. I was told to come the following day between certain times to see a doctor and was told when I got there that they do not do walk-in appointments and I was given wrong information by their own staff.

I don’t even know if I have a family dr anymore. Haven’t been able to make an appointment or even speak to someone for 3 months now. Calling daily for the last 6 weeks and never has anyone answered it’s 20mins of recorded messages

The worst phone call answering system. I called at least 3 times. NO ANSWER! My Dr. (who is amazing) moved to this clinic from Bigelow fowler west (amazing receptionists! Never have an issue getting through). So upset right now!

All of the staff were so kind and helpful. Doctor Chan was so pleasant. He was very thorough and did not make us feel rushed or like another number in the books. Everyone we encountered contributed to making our experience very positive.

Absolutely awful service from the lady that answered the phone. Maybe don't be a job where the main part is having to talk to people because you do not have the skills to do that. Hopefully management will do some re training procedures for proper customer service/patient, No need to talk to everyone with such a horrible attitude. Kids working at drive thrus are more people friendly! After reading some of the reviews this seems to be a normal thing.

Campbell Clinic front Office are rude on the phone they talk so rude and snooty

Had a sergury at Cambell South clinic conducted by Dr. Yonker. High level specialist, has magic hands, my recovery took just about few days. Basically I went for my run two days after sergury. Clinic is fair as well. I personally had no problem at all there.

I believe my son is blind because of Dr. Yonkers and his lack of skils/lack of caring and lack of observation. The front staff were horrible throughout the experience and the manager that I had to try to talk to in order to get to talk to a doctor or leave a message was even worse.

Receptionists make mistakes with their booking system and when I called their attention in this matter they got upset and they told me if I didn't like it I was asked to leave the clinic. This was done yelling at me in front of the others waiting patients. I have seen my doctor for 20 years there and the front desk staff is getting worst when it comes to customer service.
They should thank they have a job. If I treat customer at my job the way they treat their patients I would be fired right on the spot. Talking to their manager is not point. They are right and you are wrong.

I do not use this clinic for my family doctor, I only use the lab. I saw that they were accepting new patients recently online, but when I called they said they were not any longer. Thank goodness they weren't. Because I did visit this clinic recently for the lab only. The receptionist was very rude and interrogation like in her demeaner. When I was waiting for the lab, the receptionist was very rude to an elderly lady who was there for an appointment. Then the next person she was super nice too. My guess is the second patient was her friend. The receptionist went from Dr Jekyl to Mr Hyde in seconds. I am not sure I will return to this clinic even just to use the lab. The lab tech was very nice.

The receptionist (Valerie and Whitney) probably the rudest receptionist known to the clinic.called to book an appt, Valerie was extremely rude to which she passed me on to Whitney, who was already worked up about booking an appt time, was told that if the Drs afternoon doesn't fill up he would leave and we would reschedule, i asked what's the soonest she went on to say the day i already told you, with no information what so ever of letting me know that it was possible to book an apt with a different Dr. To which she (Whitney) told me to drop the attitude (meanwhile she was the one worked up about booking an appt) over all, never had a good experiences with the receptionist been going here for 15 years.

They truly need to address the middle aged receptionist with the terrible attitude. This is not an isolated incident judging by other comments. I understand that these are trying times, but it's no excuse for consistently rude behavior and demeaning comments.

Receptionist had a foul attitude. She was absolutely awful, condisending and really was unwilling to listen or help.

I have excellent care with my current doctor for almost 18 years but now it is next to impossible for me to see my doctor within a couple of days. Like having to wait to see her for almost 2 months after having episodes like asthma attacks like come on
