Camrose Resort Casino Hotel

This review is solely based on the casino. What a depressing place. I've been to some rough casinos but this place takes the cake. You know it's bad when your loyalty desk isnt even open. Tables games are advertise to start at 4: 00. That means they will have one table open. Wanna play something together than blackjack? Well, maybe it will be open later. If you're not going to man your tables, replace them with the automated ones.

The machine selection is small, like very small and they dont even let you play, they just suck all your money back. I had a bonus that paid a whioe $2.80.

These people want to build a new resort on the QE2? !? ! They can't even handle this depressing Camrose "resort"

Camrose Resort Casino Hotel hosted our wedding a couple of weeks ago. The staff was very polite and accommodating, the food was absolutely fantastic, and overall, the venue was amazing! Our thanks to the staff for ensuring that our special day was as amazing as we could have hoped!

Really in need of renovation in lobby and entrance.first thing you see large sofa chairs.totally worn out and damaged. Pool nasty dirty.don't think any maintenance was down in months. Casino was like a senior village, only a few people gaming, atmosphere was boring.

We stopped in on a whim. The hotel is spotlessly clean! We were greeted by pleasant, helpful front desk people. The rates were very reasonable, and this also included a drink coupon and breakfast coupon each. Our room was large and nicely appointed. The king was very comfortable, and the bedding was superior. Large bathroom. There were no flaws at all. The most obvious to us was how clean this hotel was. You must stay here! We will be again.

Was there for work. Very comfortable rooms, lots of space and super clean. Conference food was really good and the staff were excellent.

I booked three rooms for a family wedding over the weekend and staff was very accommodating and got us early check-in, even though we didn’t request it at time of booking. They also provided us with late check out which was fabulous. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the rooms were close to each other, which was very convenient.

If anyone in your party has difficulty walking and you do not have a wheelchair, this is not the hotel for you. The front desk is SO FAR AWAY from all parking spots, including the disabled ones. Like FAR. FAR. When asked if there was anything closer, I was looked at like I had three heads. There was no offer of assistance or any suggestions.

It wasn't until I was heard desperately exclaiming as we struggled to the restaurant (AGAIN SO FAR FROM THE ELEVATOR! FAR FAR FAR!) that we were offered a wheelchair. SHOUT OUT GABE IN THE CASINO. GABE DESERVES EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR AND A BIG FAT RAISE. All this man did was listen and offer the tiniest yet BIGGEST gesture of help. GABE YOU DA BEST! GABE!

The beds are incredibly comfortable and the AC was delightful. Our curtains were broken so I had to use my hair clips to get the blackout treat we all deserve at a hotel. The breakfast buffet had a lot of items to choose from. Everyone we encountered was very friendly. We didn't access the pool but all the kids around seemed pumped! For the price per night.we deserved a better experience but that just feels like life amirite?

Wouldn't stay here ever again. Check in took over 30 minutes because front desk staff were slow, 2nd our room was not very clean, there was fake eyelashes left on the counter and the tub hasn't been rinsed, 3rd, we attempted to go swimming in the pool to have found multiple bugs at the bottom of the pool and floating on top. Disgusting. My friend got multiple "noise violation" complaints because her room was directly above the front desk and they were not able to even walk across the room without having the old bitty at the front desk threaten to charge them for excessive noise. I fully regret giving this hotel my business.

Front disc are very cooperative, I dealt with all of them starting from Laura till the youngest lady they go extra miles for you, room is big enough for family of four, not new but clean and has everything you need, breakfast is fresh and has varieties of food all baked and prepared on site, 2 little things the parking is far if you couldn’t find close spot and the front disc far from the entrance, I would go there again
One more time 5 stars for the hotel front disc staff and the restaurant staff they all serve you with big smile

I attended an Easter event that one of the staff had told me about. We decided to have a bite to eat, thinking it would only cost the normal price of a midday brunch. The food was terrible. It was obviously the same selection offered with the continental breakfast, no service, the pancakes were not edible, the eggs Benedict dry and cold, and the price! 34.99 for one adult! As a single parent trying to treat her daughter to a Easter lunch, I was shocked. The bill was enough to buy 3 days Worth of groceries. I quickly told my brother in law not to eat there because he had just arrived. I will not recommend to anyone. I feel taken advantage of.

We check in to this place and my husband told her that he is having a hard time walking he is using a cane. The front desk is rude, seems ignorant. We told her we want a paper copy when we check out. She said the Line up could be very long, so she showed us the basket where we should drop the card, and she said we can print receipt. We also ask about the breakfast and she won’t answer but told us we will get that in a minute. She doesn’t want to be interrupted. Not the very friendly front desk a guest will want to deal with. She put us in 233 which is beside the stairs and almost on the end. We understand that it’s fully booked, but lots of people checking in at night. And all you can hear in our room are the people using the side stairs because the front entrance was very far and it is by the casino. Who can sleep when people uses the stairs and all you can hear in the room is stomp feels like a construction zone in here. Will never go back to this hotel.

Wow all I can say about this place. We went for breakfast and had the pleasure of meeting Chef Ron. He was amazing and as in the video cooked our omelette with perfection. What an awesome young chef both talented and very outgoing with his great personality. They also had a great buffet, with drinks fruit and dessert table all for the great price of $10.per person. I highly recommend this establishment to all.

Let be honest… they charge over 200$ night for a 80-90 dollar hotel!
Place is a Rip off! For what they offer and the price they charge you don’t get much in return.
The pool is a disaster with missing tiles everywhere. So many kids and Adults got injured during our trip.
Staff doesn’t really help in any situations.
Rip off is the only way to describe the place.

Single worst hotel experience! Turns out the 1400 and change I paid for a relaxing weekend was not enough to ensure a relaxing environment. First night loud banging and running from room above. Called to report this apparently nothing could be done because a dance troupe of children had the upper floor booked. I guess that means they can bang jump of furniture n stomp everywhere so much so that could not sleep and had my dog barking constantly. Will never stay there again!

Excellent friendly service at front of house & in Jokers Den, Nice clean rooms, Had dinner at Jokers Den large portions looked n tasted great

We booked a room for friday night, thursday night at 930. Rate was 119. My wife arrived to check in, they claimed it was booked for the wrong night but they would transfer the charge but the rate was now 200. Absolutely ridiculous. Will not be returning.

Front desk staff were lovely, the room was nice and clean but housekeeping is only done every 3 days unlike every other hotel including their sister hotel that provides housekeeping every day, for the price of this hotel each night there should be housekeeping provided each day.

Even though hotel was partially under renovation the room was clean and quiet overall very good stay the breakfast was more than better for continental many more options than most hotels casino was fun although parking is a little far from the front door and the TV is big but not smart lucky i brought my firestick

We were so glad to have stayed at the Camrose Resort Casino Hotel. The location was perfect! The room was very nice and extremely clean. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff in the hotel were excellent and helpful. We will definitely stay here again any time we are in Camrose!
