This was a great office visit!
I was really stressed the night before the procedure…when you live in a “pain fog” for more than 2 years…and have hope to be pain free for even a few days you will welcome ANY help!
The staff were awesome…the technicians and the Doctors calm and soothing manner made it a whole lot easier!
When I’m stressed I tend to talk to much…but they just let me ramble on and smiled!

I had to have a full Brain/Spine MRI and have been DREADING it for years. Put it off as long as I could.
Honestly I wish I had come here sooner. The staff were so welcoming at the front desk and put me at ease. The MRI technicians were AMAZING. Talked me through the process, made sure I was comfortable, helped me through my weird requests to make me comfortable! I highly recommend asking for a cloth over your eyes if you’re claustrophobic!) And at my request she barely stopped the sequences to get it done as quickly as possible.
Worth every single penny. Thank you

Needed a MRI for my wrist because I hurt it at work so it was a WCB claim scan. I was also 34 weeks pregnant and the tech who did the mri scan was so nice and caring! She made me feel so comfortable and relaxed! She answered all my questions and concerns and was just so sweet to deal with! The front reception staff ladies were amazing and so kind! My experience was 11/10 for my MRI scan with chinook CDC and I would recommend this place 100%!

I wanted mri as soon as possible due to a ongoing health concern and CDC got me in the quickest and also, when Lisa, one of thr booking agents called me, she was unlike any other clinic or person and I felt genuine care, warmth and just the type of person that is a true, genuine friend. She alone made my decision clear on where to go, regardless that CDC was able to get me in the quickest. I am super grateful and would refer to CDC based on dealing with Lisa alone. Jaz and thr other mri tech were just lovely and addressed my questions and were simply wonderful.

I called almost two weeks ago to book x-rays and ultrasound for my ankle and knee, the lady told that it’s booked for x-rays and ultrasound for today, when I reached CDC chinook location, the reception told we have ultrasound only and they cancelled x-rays tests two years ago.
The technician who did my ankle ultrasound was haughty talking to me and mentioned she can’t do my knee ultrasound and I should wait more than half an hour for knee test with another technician.

Canada Diagnostic center at Chinook is amazing very clean very friendly they help you on anything if you don't understand some medical Questions, they take there time on anything to help you, I totally recommend at Chinook.

Significant delays in obtaining their report. When opting for a private service, it is usually due to an urgent need, with the expectation of receiving prompt results. However, this Centre is delivering results within a timeframe of 5 business days, which can be perceived as less than satisfactory.

Christine called me to schedule my MRI appointment and she was amazing! She made me laugh and gave me a sense of peace as tho we’ve been friends for awhile. She explained the process, what I should expect and was able to relate to my chronic pain and wish me luck. Once I arrived at the centre the ladies at the front were very nice, got me logged in, filled out my forms and then Michelle took me to the back. Michelle is very thorough with her explanation of what I need to do and what to expect, she calmed my nerves. I’ve been battling chronic back pain for awhile and I’m exhausted; but CDC contributed positively to my chronic pain journey! Thank you all!

Thank you to ultrasound tech Jaclyn at Pacific Place. She was amazing for my baby ultrasound. She was amazing - she explained every image to me, she was beyond kind and made me feel at ease. I hope to see her for every exam,

I had an appointment for an ultrasound on Feb 1,2023 at the Chinook location. The service was great accept for the sonographer. They seemed very disinterested in my concern of lumps in my neck which had appeared in June 2022 and felt as though they were increasing in size.

My doctor ordered two scans, one being a routine neck and the other involving me pointing out the areas I could feel the lumps. I fear the sonographer was in a rush it did not feel as though they were in the correct area I had pointed to them. After the exam I asked if they saw anything and they gave the standard answer I’ll have to follow up with my doctor.

I’ll update this post next week after I have spoken to my doctor, but I have a feeling I’ll have to repeat the exam.

**Update** I spoke with my family doctor today, Feb 7,2023, and the radiologist report indicated no abnormalities. My first ultrasound in October 2022 indicated two swollen lymph nodes of 1.2cm at that time and as previously stated not only can I still feel them, they feel as they’ve grown. As I feared the sonographer likely did not go over the areas of concern I indicated to them. My doctor has recommended I repeat the ultrasound in 1 months time. I will be using Pureform Radiology for my next visit.

It's very difficult to get an appointment and despite multiple attempts already, you have to keep following up it's been 3 weeks now.

Had a very easy check in. Waited just 5 minutes and they took me in for my ultrasound. The technician was extremely friendly and made me feel very comfortable. The other staff are really friendly as well.

When an innocent, vulnerable, suffering and defenseless senior citizen is mistreated, humiliated & turned away by their so called their x-ray manager/supervisor without any accountability, professionalism, sympathy and humanity then how could anybody trust such an entity even if they're the only one in town? Is this what one should expect from a healthcare professional at the expense of taxpayers of this province? I have no words for this.

I had booked an appointment for a Ultrasound and an X-Ray on October 28.
My appointment was for November 16. On Saturday November 13 I received a phone call to confirm my appointments, which I confirmed. Monday November 15 I received a text to confirm my appointment, which again, I confirmed. I arrived for my appointment on November 16 to be told that my X-Rays would not be done as the machine was broken. When I inquired as to how long the machine was down, I was told a month.
So this machine was down at the time I booked my appointment and no one had the courtesy to call me and let me know my appointment had been cancelled due due a broken down machine. Very unprofessional on the part of Canada Diagnostic Centres

I wish I can give this place zero stars! I would run from this place at all costs especially if you are coming to them privately. They are rude and missed so much on my MRIs. I’m in pain extra 6 months because there radiologist couldn’t see a fracture on my foot!

Great staff. Nice place, but 4 to 5 business days to get an x-ray to your doctor in this day and age is unacceptable, unfathomable really. I now know why the Pony Express is still in business. I've since learned that other places get results much faster. Look elsewhere for your x-rays. Update 1: your technician was the one that said 4-5 days. I assumed that was correct. When I went back to my doctor he confirmed that's the usual experience. Update 2: Your own paperwork shows your physician signed off on it on November 2nd not on the 1st. It was not received by my doctors office even though they were open on the 2nd. They were eventually able to find it online. Super happy you shared details about my medical care online. Rating has been adjusted accordingly.

Best place to go for xrays. Clean and bright facility. Staff are pleasant and smiling. I had a very short wait for my xrays and I had no appointment. The xray techs were professionals. They were very caring and did all they could to make me comfortable in uncomfortable positions. My xrays were sent to the doctor in a timely manner. When I called back cause my doctors office said they did not have the xrays the lady who answered the phone was super pleasant. She found my file right away and said she would resend my xrays without me even having to request they be sent again. I would hight reccomend this clinic.

A 1 hour MRI is not the sort of thing that most people would be excited about. I certainly wasn't and was very apprehensive. This was quickly put to rest when I arrived and actually saw the GE Tesla 3 MRI scanner and had everything explained to me. It is open on both ends so not as terrifying as I had originally thought. The Scan takes place in multiple short scans, rather than one 1 hour scan, so you are able to fidget in between the 2-4 minute scans. The headphones and music made the sounds of the machine really quiet almost like a vibrating massage chair. The lady doing the MRI spoke to me between each small scan to let me know what was going to happen next and the time actually went by very quickly. I have gold teeth and they didn't heat up or fly out of my head in fact other than the buzzing and the gentle breeze from a fan you would not know you were having anything done at all.
My only wish would be that they would have told me all of this during the booking. Because I was thinking that I would be in a closed hole for an hour straight listening to a massive noise, as it was, it is a larger open ended 'lifesaver mint' machine and very manageable small steps. You can even request a little break in between small scans if you want but I didn't feel the need, and yes I was completely worked up the night before with anxiety. It was fine and the staff were great.

Just got back from this clinic. I had a pre-booked appointment for an ultrasound and x-ray at 9: 30 a.m. Was also to be there 15 minutes early I presume so I wasn't late. Ultrasound was only 10 minutes late in starting at 9: 40. When that was complete I was sent for the x-ray. Which after a half hour wait and the waiting room being cleared of patients and new patients arriving, I was told I was now a 'walk in' patient. So to my amazement even the people coming into the waiting room after me were put in line ahead of me. So much for showing up early and waiting for my appointment time. When I asked if this was a public or a private clinic, I was told that the x-ray and ultrasound components were public - now I know why I was handled the way I was. Guess I don't pay enough in taxes!
