Canada Post

EVERY SINGLE TIME I go to this post office I am treated rudely by the young girl with dark curly puffy hair and glasses. She actually motioned me away with her hand the last time! She is rude and uncourteous and based on other reviews not nice to anyone else here either. I have never been greeted when I go up to the counter by anyone at this post office and they all look miserable. How many bad reviews does it take to get fired? I have no choice but to go here to pick up my packages but if I didn’t have to I would avoid this post office. I post a lot of things for work and I’ve never gotten service as bad as this post office

I would give 0 if I could. When I asked for mail forwarding service, the Indian girl named karimm? Told me she never heard of the service like that and that is not a thing. HAHA WHAT A JOKE.

Went here to get a physical identity verification with all relevant documents. An employee made me believe that my documents weren't sufficient for the verification, and made me walk over 15 minutes to get a signed bank statement when my lease agreement was proof enough for my current address. Came back with the additional proof just to be served by another employee who confirmed that I didn't need the bank statement AT ALL to get me verified.

Such a waste of time and effort, and to make things worse the manager attending was siding with the 1st employee's mistake and misleading the customer. The 1st employee was so smug, saying "If it were to be me, I wouldn't approve", referring to my VALID documents before asking the manager.

I should have stood my ground and checked against the instructions I had to verify that I did ALREADY have the needed documents before believing them.

Please recheck the instructions next time and be trained to better handle situations like this to prevent wasting other's time and effort unnecessary.

Terrible attitude. We come in with a label and a well packed package. That staff gives a glance at us and started talking in a very strange manner: “ You don’t have tape? No tape? Tape your package! ” What a ridiculous service! I understand that if I tape it you will save some time, however it only takes you 1min to tape for us but you chose to speak like that.
She was very nice to other white people, but started being rude when she is helping Asian. Definitely racist:)

I would highly recommend avoiding this Canada Post. As a small business owner, I have been present to multiple sites of Canada Post over the past year, and this is the only location I have had concerns with. For the past year I have mailed small packages that fit within the size limitation of oversized letterhead. I have clarified shipping rules with Canada Post corporate that any package that can fit into the slot can be mailed as such. This one location overlooks this and continues to push a rule that is actually not on their online website. As someone who has shipped hundreds of packages there has never been an issue with it before. I calmly explained my understanding and rationale to them and was rudely met with negative comments, and refusal of service for my mail. In fact, negative derogatory comments were made towards the employees at the Canada Post locations that I mentioned who have been wonderful to me over the past year. This example highlighted to me the limited ability of the employees that work at this location, and the unprofessional behaviour that they exhibited. To clarify, I took the exact packages refused by them to another location that same day and had zero problems shipping them. This lack of consistency shows this location is unaware of their own policy details. They were unable to provide me any written clarification and purely went off of their personal opinions. As a business owner I will never be using this location again, and I strongly recommend you use another location where I have had nothing but positive experiences from. This is the most unprofessional, and uninformed employee group that I have encountered.

Canada Post is so awful. I just tried to pick up packages without a parcel slip (but with photo ID and an address matching the address of the packages), and they couldn't do it even though miraculously this time there was no line. I have to visit the office in the first place because the postman apparently didn't knock on the door, even after I buzzed him into the building and talked to him on the phone. And all this for packages that could have fit through the mail slot.but apparently that's against their policies.

Staff there are nice. Sometimes you have to wait but it only happened to me once or twice a year. Just wish the price could be cheaper lolllllll sometimes I really feel like I could not afford the delivery fee.
