Shopping for a built-in microwave and opened the chat on their website. Naseem K.refused to give me a price unless I reveal personal details first.

I'm ready to buy and this person just lost a sale. I choose not to deal with pushy salespeople who have no need for personal information to make a sale.

Bought a new washer here. Best prices and great delivery. Friendly staff at all points. Delivery was on time and with good communication leading up to it. Quick and efficient delivery and service with a smile.

I have gone to Canadian Appliance Source several times over the last few months for major appliances and each time was very satisfied with Davinder, the customer service rep who helped me find what I needed (and in one case helped me with a refund). The appliances were delivered in the time frame that was promised and in the case of the washer /dryer pair purchased, installation was satisfactory.

The worst experience I have ever had with this company and I would choose zero if there was any, I have been waiting for my appliances since October 2021, I have made my order may 2021 and had our kitchen measured for those appliances, to this date we live in a kitchen without a fridge, microwave and no oven.it is just a nightmare.
3 different sales persons quit the company while we are waiting without any notice the last was Stephen gables who has tried his best to help us.our order keeps getting updates with different date every few weeks.our appliance paid in full months ago.
I would never deal with this company ever again even if I was offered appliances for free.

I have now purchased two refrigerators from CAS. The first I was overseas, had rented out our house, and needed a refrigerator ASAP. Spoke to the sales rep, Cory, who was amazing and helped me to get a refrigerator delivered in two days.
Now, my main refrigerator just died (only 5 years old), I had purchased a replacement from another appliance store. We were told it would be a month until they had one back in stock. Two days later, we got a call to say it could be 4 months. Desperate, I called CAS and the next day I had that same fridge delivered. It was so easy and the sales rep was amazing.
Highly recommend CAS.

Well, the order was placed through CAS sales phone number and fulfilled in Edmonton. The actual delivery happened 2 days after in Mississauga. No hassle, no problems, top-notch service.

I'll never buy from them again, it was a horrible experience. I bought a new freezer from them, it won't freeze, they referred me to the manufacturer, what I had in that freezer was worth more than the freezer, no where to put all my stuff, manufacturer was able to book me in for the technician to come around which takes roughly 3 weeks, all my food spoiled.no one took responsibility. If I had bought it from a big merchant this wouldn't have happened to me.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Took 9 months to get my appliances on an error they admitted to. They did nothing to try to resolve the issues faster, in fact made continued errors in our order until we were forced to by upgrades on our appliance models just so we had something to use. What they did, I consider criminal. Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with any company. Do not use them, save yourself the stress!

C2201854. Client of mine recommended this supplier. Won’t use again! Our truck BROKE DOWN”, so we are a week delayed on delivery. They called my renter/receiver…not me the payer. Apparently they only have one truck in Edmonton and can’t rent another…. WTF…. BUSH LEAGUE!
My renters now waiting an extra week for delivery. I usually use Coast Appliance. Will go back to them for now on.
What a mistake!

Will never receive my business. Sales rep Stephen was unprofessional throughout the whole experience of picking out an appliance bundle making childish comments throughout our conversation. I have never met anyone who treats their career as a playground. If I could rate this as a zero I would.

We are extremely perturbed about our recent experience with Canadian Appliance Service in Edmonton, Alberta.

Briefly, we ordered a fridge and dishwasher and paid by credit card (which was charged immediately, despite the email we received that said we would have to verify the purchase online before the card was charged).

That same evening, we decided to cancel our order. By then, the store was closed, so we went in when it opened the following day. The salesperson we dealt with was not there; another associate told us that only he could cancel the order, but that it would "not be a problem at all" to cancel.

Later, I talked with the salesperson on the phone to confirm the cancellation. I was told that the credit card refund could not be processed until the appliances were sent back to the Calgary warehouse.

When I checked our credit card statement, I noted that, not only had we been immediately charged for the appliances, but we had also been charged an additional $8+. Despite two emails to the salesperson, I could not get information about the reason for the additional charge. (Interestingly, the charge was later removed from our statement.)

When the refund for the appliances finally appeared on our credit card, the refund was more than $100 less than what we were originally charged.

At no point, in talking with the salesperson (on the phone or via email), with the other sales person, or on the phone two days ago with customer service, were we EVER advised of any charge for cancelling our order.

Given the lack of information about charges to our credit card (the mysterious $8+ one as well as the apparent/unexplained charge for cancelling the order), we will not deal with Canadian Appliances again. This lack of transparency with regard to credit card charges feels quite shady.

UPDATE AFTER CAS REPLY:

Please note that my issue was not about how long the refund took to process.

My issue is about transparency with regard to transparency in credit card charges.

As I note above, there was a mysterious $8+ charge. While you say that you have no record of this charge, another individual from CAS explained this charge after I posted my review on Trust Pilot. Why is that the staff at your location do not understand this process?

Further, the refund for the delivery charge was processed IN RESPONSE TO the Trust Pilot review I posted. As I note above, at no time, were we ever advised by the 2 salespeople at your location or by the customer service agent on the phone-that this charge wold be withheld-or refunded separately.

I find the different responses from CAS to my review to be concerning.

I received an excellent service from Ivonna Lobo on the phone she helped me find what I needed and was very patient waiting for me on the phone. The items have been delivered this morning already only 48 hours after purchase. Very happy and satisfied. We now are waiting for the installation of our cooktop. Let's see how it follows!

Don't ever buy anything from them i bought my appliances from them and i paid the full amount and I suppose to receive my stuff by the end of May 2022 and until now still one appliances haven't received the stove yet and they tell me factory delay but when I bought them they told me Iwill receive all my appliances with in 2 week

The sales rep was honest and helped me select not only the size that would best suit my needs but also guided me in what was in stock. The delivery men were professional and quick. I highly recommend CAS

I purchased a microwave. No big deal but then when I needed to cancel the order because unfortunately the microwave was a bit too big I was given the run around and lied to on several occasions. I was inconvenienced enough to make me think they are purposely doing this because I had the nerve to cancel my order. I was even prepared to purchase another more suitable microwave but I was treated like total garbage so I left the store. I got an apology later on after I complained but then I was blatantly lied to again by my salesman Leo…Never again will I ever step foot in that store full of liars!

Bought a fridge and stove with the online chat. The discussion over chat was a bit tedious and a bit difficult to get the correct price. I recommend asking for a breakdown if ordering multiple items to ensure the correct price.
The delivery team was fast, effective and friendly. In less than a half hour I had my fridge and stove in my kitchen.

Started my look on the website and ultimately hit the chat button. Provided what I wanted and received a quote from the agent. Once we agreed, I spoke with Bill Ball, confirmed details and placed the order. Washing machine was delivered as expected - actually, it was 27 minutes earlier than expected, but I’m OK with that.
Tracing the shipment was also very easy and the two gentlemen that delivered the machine were friendly and efficient during the process.
I would recommend CAS - this was our second purchase from CAS.

We are in Toronto - not Edmonton.

Horrible experience with CAS. Decent prices and useful website, but don't expect any help from anyone when things go wrong. Zero customer service and zero accountability. Have been promised a call back on 8+ occasions and nobody ever calls, regarding an order from 9 months ago that CAS has been unable to fulfil. Many issues with improperly sized appliances being ordered. Asked to escalate issue to a supervisor and was told company policy is that supervisors/managers do not speak to customer on the phone. Avoid at all costs. Any other major appliance store will match pricing, visit one of those places instead.

I was some what concerned after reading some of the other reviews, however my experience was very pleasant. From the initial phone conversation with the sales representative, to the professionalism of the dilevery team, I was very impressed and satisfied with the overall service. I would definitely shop with CAS again and I would recommend them without hesitation.

We recently replaced a 21 year old Jennair downdraft gas and electric range with a Kitchen aid downdraft gas and electric slide in range and are very satisfied with the service provided by Canadian Appliance Source and with the Kitchen Aid stove. The only issue we encountered was with the installation of the Kitchen aid stove. Our old stove had a countertop overlip and the Kitchen Aid unit would not slip into the stove opening so we had to saw about 1/8-1/4 of an inch off the granite countertop opening to slide in the Kitchenaid unit. The other issue we encountered was the downdraft hole in the floor had to be moved for the Kitchen Aid product to fit. On the positve side the Kitchen Aid downdraft is much more powerful than on the old stove. We have used the Kitchen Aid stove only a few times however so far we find it an improvement over the Jennair stove. The oven is much larger and we like the slide in oven shelf feature and the gas control is much better than on the Jennair stove.
