We had 18 windows and 2 doors replaced by Canadian Choice Windows and Doors last fall. The windows were delivered in the time frame specified and the installation by Sasha and his co-worker went very smoothly. All in all a pleasant experience for what we would consider a large project.

I had 15 windows and 2 doors replaced by Canadian Choice Windows & Doors. I was a little worried at the beginning as this was a major project being done on my home. My worries were soon laid to rest when the father and son team began to remove the old windows and doors and put in the new ones. They took great care putting down drop sheets to protect any areas they were working in. And this was just the start. Overall, I was very impressed with their work skill as they performed a masterful job in my house. I would highly recommend this company for any window or door replacement whether it is a big or small task.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Canadian Choice Windows & Doors, and I must say it was nothing short of a nightmare. Last year, we decided to invest a hefty sum of $16.4k in their services to replace our windows. From the very beginning, it was clear that this was a decision we would come to regret.

First and foremost, they managed to bring us not one, but two incorrectly sized windows. I mean, how can a company that specializes in windows get such a basic thing wrong? To add insult to injury, they forgot to include window trim on three of the other windows they installed. When we asked them to rectify these glaring mistakes, they had the audacity to demand payment before even considering completing the job. Their approach was nothing short of extortion.

But wait, it gets worse. The folks at Canadian Choice Windows & Doors have mastered the art of rudeness. They didn't just fail in terms of their products and services; their customer service and sales teams seemed to have an aversion to returning phone calls. It's almost as if they take pride in ignoring their customers and their concerns.

Now, fast forward to today, when we're ready to tackle the siding of our house. Lo and behold, we discovered that three of the windows they installed aren't even out enough to accommodate the siding work we planned. We had repeatedly informed them that we intended to add strapping and siding to our home, so this should have been factored into their installation. But when we reached out to them today, hoping for some semblance of accountability, they flat out refused to accept responsibility. Their response? Yet another display of their unparalleled rudeness.

I cannot stress this enough: steer clear of Canadian Choice Windows & Doors. Their so-called 25-year warranty is nothing but a cruel joke. Save yourself the money, stress, and headaches, and look elsewhere for your window and door needs. This company's utter lack of professionalism, poor workmanship, and abysmal customer service make them a company I wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

I recently had an interaction with the company, and I wanted to provide an update on my previous review. The company did eventually get back to me, but unfortunately, it was not to address my complaint and work towards a resolution. Instead, I received a call from Arthur, who, to my surprise, accused me of being dishonest and insisted that I remove my complaint. Moreover, he cited a specific clause in the contract that was completely unrelated to the issue I had raised.

When I attempted to explain my concerns and the actual problem I was facing, Arthur responded by threatening legal action and stating that he would see me in court. This experience has only reinforced my belief that this company is extremely difficult to deal with and has not taken my concerns seriously.

*Second update. We have started our siding, and every window was installed incorrectly. We told Arthur, the salesman, and every contractor multiple times that we needed the windows brought out 1.5" to accommodate strapping and siding. This is an enormous error on their part, and will result in thousands more spent to repair.

I just want the company to honor my warranty and fix their mistakes!

Sales, support team and technicians involved have been prompt, extremely courteous and very knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for better service. Thank you very much for the pleasurable experience and wonderful new windows. Feels like a new home.

I would not hesitate to recommend your team to anyone looking at replacing their windows or their home or office.

I replaced 11 windows 2 case window last month they have good product but the measurements was terrible with a big gaps sealed with a fom I was working with windows and doors I never seen just anyways I was informed the company I don't think they care because they paid infull. I got my lessons. Thank you Canadian choice

I got my front door, patio door and second floor windows replaced 6 months ago, quick installation, service and great product.

We needed to have a full home renovation and Arthur was our guide. He would always let us know the project’s progress and would always answer within an hour whenever we sent a message/email. Installers were also very polite and hardworking, already recommended to family members.

They told me they would be able to help me out with getting a storm door. They took my information and booked an appointment for 2 pm. No one showed. I called shortly after 3 to find out why they ghosted me. I was then told that because I had not purchased my existing front door with them they would not be able to fit one of their storm doors. Turns out I wasn't even on the schedule. I could have purchased a storm door over the weekend and installed it myself. They wasted my time and were dishonest. If you like being misled, this is the company to go with!

The installers did a great job! We needed an additional custom caulking and moulding job done on the window frames as well as custom dimensions on the windows for my master bedroom and kitchen. Thanks!

I changed my review from a two star to a four star. I love my windows, can’t wait to see out of my broken one again. Wish it didn’t take a bad review to get it installed. So I’m leaving it at four since I still have a bad taste left behind from the office manager/receptionist. If it wasn’t for her I would have left a full five stars! I recommend these windows to anyone! Hopefully they don’t need to deal with the receptionist.

Well I want to start by saying, it started out a wonderful experience until my window broke.so install was wonderful, the beginning purchase was wonderfully but getting my glass replaced has been less than savoury…

The receptionist is not good at her job. I’ve called back now several times to connect with whomever called me to tell me my replacement was in. They left a msg so I called back. The receptionist was unfriendly to talk to right from the start, she couldn’t even understand why I was calling and has now taken a msg twice and offered to take one a third time BUT she obviously isn’t giving the msg to anyone since no one has called me back in TWO weeks! The replacement glass was in two weeks ago and no one had called me back to get in installed… this unfortunately has ruined the whole experience for me. It’s been more trouble for one piece of glass than all of my windows. I’ve had no information given to me besides that it was in and now no one is calling to confirm my installation. Unfortunately they are creeping up on loosing my door sales since I’ve been wanting new doors.
Hopefully they replace my glass soon and their receptionist because she has ruined the whole customer service feel I’ve gotten from them

Needed window replacement and Marat helped us pick out the best windows for each room, the casement windows in the bedrooms, awning in the bathrooms and bay and bow on the first floor make for a perfect fit. Experienced workers, great service and great-looking windows!

Sam as our service rep was always honest and straight forward when it came to telling us the options available as well as the costs and timeline attached. Thanks to him, we picked out some beautiful Eurostyle windows as well as a fibreglass front door so that everything from lighting, energy efficiency and more was accounted for.

Great customer service, Arthur is always on top of everything and is letting us know the progress of the team every couple days. The install team of Jason, Chris and Russ were also a fun, diligent bunch. Best part was that they actually cleaned up after themselves unlike other home reno companies I’ve dealt with.

Had a custom set of patio doors with side panels as well as windows on our second floor we needed to replace before moving out. BEWARE customer service falls significantly short! One of my doors was measured wrong and door was installed without even consulting us.made the entry way 3" bigger, light switch is now in the door frame. Getting no where, service department and sales do NOT work together and just blame each other. Empty promises made. We are not hard to please! Got all our windows replaced in our home after moving in with Joe as our project manager. Got the whole project completed in 4 months with installation taking 2 days. Our home is on the older side and your standard windows wouldn’t fit. Thankfully, Joe was able to get us custom-sized windows at a good price, especially with the rebate that they were helping us apply to that ended up saving us $2000, thanks!

Great customer service throughout the process! Canadian Choice Windows was recommended by friends, including ones who work in construction. They were quick to get someone out to my house to look at my windows. The new windows we got were a significant upgrade and we are very happy with the product and service Canadian Choice provided. They installed seven new windows and a Phantom screen for our back door. I would definitely recommend this group of professionals!

We just had new windows installed by Canadian Choice. Everyone was friendly and helpful the receptionist, the salesman and the installers. They came when the said they would, did a great job and cleaned up everything after they left. Great windows reasonably priced, installed efficiently and carefully, and a great lifetime warranty. Also, it was so nice not to experience a pressure sale! Would gladly recommend them to anyone needing this service in the future.

We met with the project manager at my house, they had a quote done on my home 2 days after I requested it and the whole project only took them 5 weeks from quote to completion. I replaced all my windows on the second floor as well as my apito door which I always had problems with. Great installation and the lifetime warranty this time makes sure that I can rest easy.

Installation went smoothly and the whole project only took about a month and a half. Greg especially was super hardworking and worked non-stop to replace all the windows in one day. The financing program and rebate are also great if you want to save big.

The project looks even better than I hoped. The architectural windows let in the light perfectly. We had our whole cottage renovated and we called up Canadian Choice for the windows and doors. Before, it used to look like a hut but now it looks like a mini-castle. The view of Pigeon Lake nearby looks great and I couldn’t have done it without the amazing service team, thanks guys!

After scrolling through companies, I eventually went with Canadian Choice and I’m glad I did. Joe was our project manager and he did everything to make sure that we were happy. After going through numerous window models and graphs and statistics, we eventually just told him to do it for us. At the end of the day, he made it better than we could have ever imagined. The beautiful bay and bow windows in the living room and dining room are perfect for lighting and spacing while the casement windows in the bedrooms and architecture in the attic all bring their own charm. We just had our front and back doors replaced with Canadian Choice. Joe was there to help us pick out the best door frame, designs and handles for the look we wanted for our home. Ross, the installer, was also super quick, clean, and friendly at the same time. Overall, great team and nice-looking doors with quick service.

Our second order from Canadian Choice and just as good as the last one. We needed a full window and door replacement done for our cottage out in Chip Lake. They managed to get there and do the quote and consultation the same week despite the distance. We had Russ and Greg work as installers with Orest as the head project manager. Quick, prompt service and the custom-made windows were a big help for getting the home exactly how we wanted it.

I want to share my experience with this company. I'll start from the beginning. They give a slightly better price than other companies, but in the end it'll cost you much more. The policy for this company is to never say no but never end doing anything about customer issues. There was a defect in the glass unit, and they ended up replacing the unit 3 times, all of which were defect units. The result is that the housing frame for the window became damaged from repeated replacements. Until now (November), I'm waiting to replace the damaged stoppers, finally i figured out that they didn't even order the stoppers. The office has no idea what they're doing. When the customer looses their patience from their repeated negligence and raises their voice they consider it verbal abuse, but does one classify the abuse that this company entails upon its customers from wasted time and money. Until now I'm still waiting and hope that they fix my problem like they said they would. I'm posting pictures to show their work.

Got a quote from three different companies and decided to go with Canadian Choice. My parents needed a new window in their home and Canadian Choice seemed right. Well, the reputation didn’t disappoint. Marat is always there to answer questions and point you in the right direction while also never appearing too pushy. Ultimately we got 6 casement windows, 3 awning windows, 3 sliding tilt windows and 2 pairs of massive bay and bow windows for the 2 bedrooms. Install was quick, windows look great!

I had my windows ordered in Aug 2020 and came in to be replaced Dec 2020. I did all my windows > 30 in the house and they did a decent job. Relatively satisfied with my windows to this date. One problem I have though is that one of my larger living room windows has warping in the middle - I suspect from the manufacturing process, leaving a noticeable scratch/distortion in the center. Canadian Choice Windows and my service rep Arthur promised to reorder a replacement for me as per their warranty and guarantee, and after attempting to call Arthur month after month he's stopped responding to my texts and ignoring my calls all in all. I've been waiting for a replacement for 10 months now and the response I get is still far and few between, with vague answers and no date of receiving as per the main office. While Canadian Choice does seem to provide decent windows, don't bet on them upholding their warranty. I'm not sure if they'll do anything for me at this point if I have problems with my windows. To the company, if you have something to update me regarding my replacement, you have my contact information. I believe I have been more than patient and polite with my interactions with you over the last 10 months of waiting. Hope we can resolve this and I'll consider updating this review.

I found the gentleman that measured and installed my windows to be excellent.
But service after the sale has not been good. I called and booked a service on my front crank window in the summer, unfortunately the tech had an injury and canceled. They tried to call back 1x, but I was away and missed the call. I called again when I returned and was told I would get a call back. A few days later and nothing. I call again and am told I have to wait almost 2 weeks for a service! My window will not close tightly! The wind and cold are blowing in and I was told there is nothing they can do for me! They tried to say they made many calls and emails…I received 1 call and no emails.
Good service has to follow the installation!
Leaving a family with a window that will not close when overnight temps are low single digits is not reasonable or good service.

Just installed a custom set of patio doors as well as casement windows out back that we needed changed. Thanks to Joe, we got the whole thing done in just over a month. Super quick and efficient process, Eugene also worked all day and night to finish the project in one day all by himself! 5 stars!

Great experience with Canadian Choice! Very knowledgeable project manager, Marat always made sure to tell us everything down to the last number. It can get annoying at times but he just always seemed very upbeat and eager to help. Installation staff were also very approachable and had the decency to keep their masks on and take their shoes off when coming which most don’t. Love the new window designs, the bay and bow windows along with the casement ones are my favourites!

Nikita and Oleg did a great job with the windows, the architectural windows look amazing in the attic, especially from the outside and the casement windows really help the bedrooms shine with light during the daytime. Very clean, quick and professional installation.

Me and my husband love the windows, we needed to replace the windows at our old cottage at Wabamun Lake and we chose Canadian Choice. Alexey actually helped us cover nearly half of the project with the Canada Greener Homes grant and we’ve never even heard of it before! The casement and awning windows are a joy to clean and we don’t have to deal with the cold drafts anymore we would get from the old, rundown windows.

Marat is as helpful a guy as you can meet. He drove 100km from their office to do the measurement and in-person consultation with us. He then became our project manager and advised us through all the window designs. He also helped us secure the Canada Greener Homes grant which covered $3000 for us as well as financing for the rest. Then it turns out that the manufacturer got the wrong measurements but because he had called them to confirm ahead of time, he was able to keep the project on schedule. The install team was very quick and neat and afterwards, Marat made sure to come back to see if we were satisfied. Love the customer service!

Happy I chose Canadian Choice, they may not be cheapest but if you’re looking for a window that doesn’t start to crack and chip like the ones I had gotten installed a few years back and is perfect for all seasons, you should go with Canadian Choice.

Loved the service, all the staff are always on top of everything, if you have a question, they'll answer it right away. If you want to contact them, they’ll get back to you within 2 hours max. Installed 14 windows around the home. I also love the attention to detail with the colour trims and energy efficient features.

Loving the new patio doors! I was really happy with the assistance I obtained from these people. They came out within a few days to look at my windows and provided me a quote right away. The work might start the following week. The employees were kind and productive.
