Was told to go and pick up my moms equipment. Went there and was rudely told I needed an appt. Like it took them 2 mins to get my things no one else was even there. Then she proceeded to say I had an appt for 420 which I was again not aware of. My mother is dying I didn't need to be shamed for trying to keep her safe.
Amazing service for people. Over the past 3 years I have gotten equipment to help me after surgery’s. They don’t charge you at all. I’m so grateful for this service. I broke both my legs and don’t know what I would have done without being able to borrow the necessary equipment. Thank you armed Cross!
Terrible to contact by phone! Only the voice messaging system to leave a message with. Very unaccommodating hours of operation to be able to pick up needed medical equipment without losing a day of pay if a person is working during the same hours as their hours of operation. I am surprised that there is no option to pick up things on a Saturday when many people are off from work?
This review is for Ritu, she is an angel. I rushed over to the RC after work and she took me in even though I unfortunately missed my appointment time. She could havd easily ignored me but she didnt. Great customer service and empathy from Ritu, much appreciated!
Appointment and doctor's note required to obtain 3-6 month loans on certified clean health medical equipment for home, mobility recovery and everyday safety supports. Ample parking and ok bussing according to their week day hrs 830-12,1-430
They are there for you when you need a little help. I was able to borrow a walker and a bath fixture to help me while recovering from a stroke. Very easy. One thing.when you call and it says to listen to the message in it's entirety, do so or you will never talk to anyone. Wait for a good moment after the message, only then does it switch you over to speak to someone.
I worked here back in 2005-2010. Best place ever for loaning equipment that can be pricey. Hips, knee surgery and just people that need help with mobility. Very friendly and loving place.
You have to make an appointment to borrow their equipment. Phone ahead and they will serve you with a smile. We borrowed a walker and a stationary bidet, for after my wife's knee replacement.
Due to current regulations I had to make an appointment for pick up but my items were clean and ready for pick up. The gentleman I dealt with on the phone and at the door has a great attitude and a pleasure to deal with. Equipment loan program is very helpful.
Need to loan some equipment for mom, ladies at the front desk really helpful and take away my headache and time to get the stuffs I need for mom. Thank you for your help
Such an amazing service they offer of medical equipment on loan to people who need it. The staff/volunteers were super friendly, helpful and the time of when the Dr.put in the referral the equiptment was ready the next day. For sure leave a donation as this service offered is a blessing to many people.
Don't volunteer for them. They treat their volunteers like garbage. I volunteered as a data entry. I was momentarily detained one night and told the security guard i'm a volunteer. He calls dowstaris to a angry guy called Ralph so said "He knows when to show up". I'm a volunteer not paid staff. You can talk to paid staff who were doing data entry. But not me. So I just left.
