Canadian Tire

I like C-tire and and their products. But good grief, can you please get a self check out at this location. Nothing more detouring when there is 10 deep in line and one person working. I usually go to home depot first if what I need is there specifically because of this reason. (no need to respond to this asking me to call a number so you better understand. Read the above, its all there.) I still gave you 5 star.

Many of us like this store and what it offers but you are getting left behind by your competitors. Its not rocket science, just do what they are doing please. Don't want to see this store close.

Great staff. Selection is on and off like most Canadian tires around area but they have what I need In stock

Sometimes not enough cashiers but typically not a long wait. Well organized and reasonable stocked.

I specifically ask about a gift receipt after I found on on dec 24 my mother in law bought the same gift. I was told there is no difference between the gift receipt and a normal except the gift receipt hides the price. They would print me a gift receipt because I had bought 2 days earlier. Now when she exchanged the gift they put it back on my credit card instead of returning the money to my wife to find something new. I will never return to this store ever. So angry. Why would I ever want the gift returned to my card. I have no cash to replenish her funds as I bought it on credit and am now out of town for 3 weeks. Worst customer service and I hope the store fails. I will drive to Sherwood Park thank you very much.

Literally says 9-6 on Christmas and says Christmas hours but they are closed, also they never have any stock I always have to go into Sherwood park for what I need, and never any staff around either

Would not recommend service at all. I blew a tire in their parking lot to the rim. Went in to talk to someone. Waited in line for 15 minutes only one person working. When I explained what happened and asked if they could help he said no. I asked do you have an emergency service? He brought me to tears when he said. I didn’t say we wouldn’t do it. I said you have to WAIT. Never will I spend another penny at this store. Called Kal-tire they are on their way to Canadian tire parking lot to help me. After I went outside I have 3 different strangers offer to help.

The staff are a little slow. Inconsistent experiences shopping there but the products for the most part, are of high quality.

Maybe one of the worst can tires I've been to. Stock wise anyways, they never have anything.
Employee wise, one of the best I've been to.

There are signs up that say they price match but when I got to the counter they said they just had a meeting and decided against it. Very misleading. I’m giving two stars instead of one because at least the cashier was polite and apologetic. This is far from my favourite Canadian tire, the ambience alone is not welcoming.

Herd to find so.eone when you need help on the odd day, but such a huge store I can only imagine! Store is always super clean and people are always friendly.

A young lady named Lilly was exceptionally helpful. Asked if I needed help without being asked. Price checked one of my items, price matched and took me to customer service desk. Very impressive initiative

I've been in to this location twice in the last 6 months, the first time was was back in January when I went in to purchase a bulb for a burnt out headlight only to be told I could not pay for it at parts and service counter and must take it through the one open till with a line 1/2 way down the store, however there are Interac machines and 3 people standing behind that counter doing nothing. The 2nd time was this morning I had a tire blow out in town 40 KM from home with no spare, so Iimped my vehicle into the parking lot and went in to purchase a tire and have it installed. I spoke to guy at the service counter and he went talk to the guy in the shop. He came back and told me sorry can't do it, take it else where as there are already two tires ahead of you. Absolutely ZERO customer service. Took my vehicle down the block to Fountain Tire who even with all their bays full sold me a tire, installed it and had me back on the road home within a 3/4 of an hour.

It was a snowy evening and all the service staff were gone for the day. My windshield wiper broke and I was really stuck without it. I purchased the windshield wiper, and asked if there was anyone that could help me put it on since service wasn't open. Brendan (I think was his name) who was in the Parts Dept, was willing to put it on for me, no questions asked, he was very helpful and friendly. He made me feel at ease, especially since the first one didn't fit, he had to fiddle with it to find the right adapter and it turns out the windshield wiper wouldn't work, so we went back into the store, got the right one and I was on my way in minutes. Really appreciated the help and kindness. Shout out to Brendan! He really went above and beyond:)!

Very bad customer service I didn’t expect from store manager they put wrong price on front of skate guards when I went to pay the price shows wrong then cashier called the boy from department to check price I went with him to show he checked and said someone put wrong price on the front then removed price tag usually when in the store they put wrong price they have to give it for that price it’s their mistake but manger said we don’t know maybe some customer move the price tag. So I have very bad experience. Never want to go back there.

I had great help in the automotive department. I was looking for spark plug caps Which used to be out in the aisles.a very nice clean store

When you look online most of the products amount numbers are inaccurate. I have yet to go there when they say 6 in stock and they actually have one. The management at this store is horrific. Obviously inventory control is not at the top of the list. Which i find confusing as that is what this type of store is about. When you ask for help to find one of the 6 they look on the computer and tell you the aisle number. (Hmmm i already did that). Lousy store every time i go.

I have had many less than positive dealings in this store. I have tried to call management to talk about issues, never respond. Just arriving in the parking lot, taking somebody else to the store. Lot maintainence is very poor, carts all over except in receptacles because the receptacles are snow bound. 1 staff member and 1/2 an hour would make a remarkable difference. They have had good staff, but can't keep the good ones.

I have had 3 seperate occasions that really discouraged me from shopping in this store. I much prefer to shop local and Canadian but this store does not help make it sensible to go there.

I avoid big stores like Walmart and Home Depot because they kill the small entrepreneurs. With this Canadian Tire store I find it necessary to go to NE Edmonton and Sh Pk.

This could be a go to store but the management does nothing to make it such.

I recently purchased a vehicle (new to me) and took it to the dealer for a full inspection. When the dealer gave me the report I knew they were not being honest and trying to overcharge so I took the vehicle to Canadian Tire in Fort Saskatchewan. I showed them the list from the dealer and they went over the vehicle. They let me know numerous things the dealer said needed repair that actually were not even broken. Then they fixed what was in need of repair for a fraction of the cost that the dealer wanted to charge. The staff at Canadian Tire were fantastic, honest, and quick. I highly recommend this service center.

Worst store I've been to, never have stock, staff is knowwhere to be found when need help, service department is rude and refuses to work on vehicles that have a safety issue and sends people down the road unsafe. I will never walk into this store unless absolutely needed.

Great staff went above and beyond to help me out even outside their department minutes before close! Thank you so much! Store itself is also good, tons of stuff at a reasonable price

Love my new neighborhood and the Canadian Tire here is so cute with everything you'd expect at a Canadian Tire and the staff are pleasant and helpful!

Came in this store early today no signs on the doors saying customers couldn’t come in so I went in the automotive section thinkn nothin of it I had like 3 people yelling at me chasing me like I was gonna steal something they gave me nothing but grief and the girl at the FRONT till long dark hair with the red mask was sittin there making a stink throwing pens on her counter giving us real awkward gestures and stuff cuz we were in the store early.we also walked in to emplyeees wearing no masks and so we have to wear masks why weren’t these people wearing them not that I care but due to this experience I am now cancelling my Canadian tire credit card that I spend a lot of money on so we’ll done fort sask Canadian tire job not well done maybe u shouid treat ur customers a bit better ask them to wait at the front nicely till the store opens.common sence but I guess they don’t understand the values of courtesy zero stars for this place…. And a loss of my credit card due to this experience so AGAIN job not well done ….

Always been one of my favourite stores. Also the only one where I can seem to be able to find one of the cleaners I use at work.

Never seen to have what I'm looking for. Every other store in Edmonton seems to have stock. Just not fort Saskatchewan

I went to this location today to buy a drill. The staff was very nice and they found someone to help me that was knowledgeable because I have never bought a drill before. The woman that helped me out was great she took it up to the tail for me I waited in line and purchased it. However after the purchase and I was halfway home I realized I paid too much for this because it was on sale for $59.99. So I went back to the store and I went to the shelf where I bought the drill and took a picture of the sale price and took it up to the service desk. They took care of it for me and said that it was not on sale anymore but that I could still have the sale Price because it had not been removed from the bottom of the locked unit.

Always a good place to shop. Great variety. Prices are consistent with Canadian Tires. Definitely would go back and shop.

Alright store, understand that they are not gonna be fully stocked like a edmonton store. Only gripe is the constant line up with only 1 or 2 cashiers working at a time. Today was 13 people in line, come on manager and put a third person in! Especially on hot days or long weekends!

Item that I wanted is out of stock. It is available at another Cdn Tire about 1/2 hour drive away. Do not do store to store transfers, so have to go to other location. Very inconvenient.

It's an older store, think like how they used to look in 2008 or so. Spacing is a bit tight, but they generally have plenty of stock. Definitely not as much as some of the larger ones like Edmonton south or Edmonton Manning, but convenient for those living in the area.

Shockingly good garden center. They had plants noone else in town had and everything was pretty healthy.

Don't go here if you want curbside pickup. I called the number on the sign by the parking spot and no one picked up. They don't seem to have any dedicated staff for it, you just have to go to customer service. Customer service staff was friendly (why I gave this review two stars and not one) but I had to wait in the store for a while for my items, right by the customer service desk and the checkouts which was the busiest and most crowded place in the store. I chose curbside pickup because I thought it would be safer/less contact but this was not the case. I don't usually write reviews but since some people more vulnerable to covid like me might think they would be better off doing curbside pickup I wanted others to know so they can choose a different location.

Canadian Tire is great place. I'm always a bit lost when i go here but it's just because I've never been the handy type.

So many boxes and carts filled the aisle you couldn't even go down some of them. I understand shelves need to be restocked but you'd think there would be some organization to the process.

Very organized. Lots of stock but not like going through a maze. Helpful and delightful cashier. Set up to rotate customers quickly and efficiently through Covid measures.

Terrible store. Organization is non existent. The only snow removal stuff I could fine was leaning haphazardly near the sliding entry doors: it wasn't for sale it's where they keep the employee used shovel and salt for the sidewalk outside the front door. There were many isles blocked off with empty shelves. The barbeque area is well stocked while snow removal is no where to be found. It's January The parking lot is like a skating rink because the snow hasn't been removed since winter started and it's all hardpacked now. Someone call the authorities so they can wake up the store manager.

I called ahead, after phoning all over Edmonton area to verify stock for a tire I needed to replace (one place already said they had it and then didn't in the end). I was told on the phone there were 4 in stock (I specifically asked them to verify and not just trust the computer), but there was no way for me to reserve the tires. So, I said I was coming right away to get them. I left work (during working hours), drove all the way to Fort Sask (because I really needed a specific type for an AWD vehicle), and was told in store there wasn't any stock. I pressed, and was told there was, but they were already booked in to be installed, long before I called, on someone else's vehicle, and I couldn't buy them. Would have been nice to know over the phone, and would have appreciated a bit more constumer service. Horrible experience.

Five stars to Judy, she is super helpful and knowledgeable and made our shopping experience super fun and easy! This is now my favourite Canadian tire

Nice store but needs to be bigger. When they were in the Fort mall, it was too small, so they built a new one (years ago) and it was ok, but now back to the same dilemma, way too small for the comunity

The staff is all fine, but the return policy is poor. Typical of corporate issues with Canadian Tire. Do not buy a motomaster vehicle battery, they're very poor quality. Canadian Tire does not stand behind it's products.

Not sure why this store cant be open until 9pm. By the time you eat and figure out that you need something its 745. I wish it was open later and management was somewhere to be found.

I just like coming here sometimes when you buy the as is items but it's probably one of the smaller Canadian tires that I know of

Fantastic service. Worker even did a price match with another Canadian Tire to save me some hard earned cash. Great shopping experience.

I'm not sure how this place is still in business, honestly. Customers are consistently met with a deer in headlights look from any employee that they ask for help, and more often than not they won't have what they're advertising. The young part timers are not to blame, but the poor management definitely is.

Very hard to return various products. Even with a good reason. You buy a bike at their store in Edmonton.no service or anything offered in the fort Saskatchewan store. Even if you try to offer more money!

I bought brand new tires from the Manning location a year ago, my tires started to lose air, the cold snap came and my tires went completely flat. I have purchased a 5 year guarantee with my tires for peace of mind. I brought my car to the Fort Saskatchewan location because I had moved and this was the closest center. They tell me there is a bead seal leak on the one tire and they have no idea what happened to the second one. I was also informed that my tires are destroyed and need to be replaced. They parts guy told me he had no authority to cover the costs under the warranty and no managers were on duty to authorize it. Told me that my car is not in drivable condition. I had a friend help me go to the Sherwood park location to buy the tires there so we can bring them to Fort Sask because they had none in stock. Sherwood Park looked at my paperwork and didn't understand why Fort Sask wouldn't cover the guarantee, but there wasn't anything they could do because my car is at the Fort Sask location. I had to pay out of pocket to replace brand new tires that were covered under a 5 year guarantee, and for the labor to install them. I felt like I was held hostage by the Fort Sask location as my car was not in drivable condition after they took the one tire off to investigate why it was leaking and completely destroyed it doing so, it also seemed to me that the employees have no management support. I will never bring my car or support this location and would suggest against going here. Sherwood Park was a very helpful and I'll be using this location going forward.

Update: After contacting corporate office I was able to have the tires refunded and placed on the guarantee I had purchased when I first bought the tires.

Giving a 3 star because of a variety of products BUT would truly have a 2 star for customer service. Check out girl should be taught how to smile and at least acknowledge customers. Doesn't seem like a happy working atmosphere. Interpersonal courses should be offered to the staff.

There is something definitely wrong with the wheels on the car but they weren't able to find it.you'd think a place with tire in the name would be able to oil it or something.

I went in to the store looking for an advertised product which was not where it should have been. A Canadian Tire employee hunted it down so that I went home quite pleased. Thanks.

Called local store before hand to return a safety recalled air compressor. Corporate had told me on the phone earlier to return compressor to any store for direct replacement. This local store would only offer me a credit towards one for the lowest sale price of the item! This is not the point of a safety recall.

Was good experience. Was actually surprised they were still open. They usually change their hours around this time of the year to winter hours. Nice surprise when you need them.

Who doesnt love Canadian Tire? Customer service and front cashiers have always been very nice. The Auto department staff however have always been extremely rude. If I know i will need to talk to someone in Auto, I now go to CT in Sherwood Park or Edmonton.

Charged 2 hours of labor to change a battery that was under warranty (Without asking), charged me for 2 O2 Sensors when I only needed one (Again replaced without any confirmation from me), quoted price of first O2 sensor was $129, then they added on an additional $250 for another. When confronted about the ridiculous charge they acted extremely condescending and stand offish.

I could have replaced the battery myself in 5 min, but somehow it took a mechanic 2 hours to do it?

This location is a scam, not only did they not confirm the work with me before doing it, they inflated the price and then waited to tell me to come pick it up until they would no longer be in to contest it.

Never using this location again.
