I am so impressed by the people who work here. Thank you Rachel and the young lady who gave me a ride to Points West after the handivan left me. Thank you also to the young man who helped me in store.
Big store. Getting tires change was at the parts side. Annoying just to go use bathrm. Had to get buzzed in by cashier. I was so mad never again. They took their time putting on 4tires almost 2hrs. Annoying layout in store be prepared for long walks.
Really disappointed. I got a very fast leaking flat this morning and managed to just make it over to the Canadian Tire shop, where my tire was done. Went in, no attendant at the desk. When I finally found someone to inquire to, I explained that my tire was dead flat outside & asked if they could help. The answer I received was an abrupt "no. We can't help you. We're too busy today". I understand your schedule can be full but it was the tone and no option of waiting or any suggestion that bothered me. I just expect a friendier service and maybe a suggestion since I'm stranded in your lot.
Didn't have in stock what I came for (out of season), but staff was most helpful none the less. Pleasant and kind, clean and organized store. Thank you
Called and ordered in some tires and made an appt.for them to be installed. Called in a couple weeks later to check on the status and possibly change the appointment time. Was rudely told “did we call you? If not, they’re not in”. Shocked, I obtained the persons name and left a message for the general manager. To this date, have not received a call back from the manager or the auto/parts department saying the tires were in. Just a call saying I missed my appointment when they never even said the tires were in. Very disappointed with my experience. I have not had this trouble at any other stores, just this one.
Booked in for 11 am for tires bought at the store now it is 1: 30 pm and tires still not done. 3 hrs to mount and balance 4 tires is beyond reasonable. Will never recommend this place for tire install. Was told it be 1 1/2hr appointment.
Went to the parts department to get a tire on, which I had an appointment for, good thing I was there half an hour early. There were 6 people in front of me, three staff on tills, but only one was helping customers. Then saw there were actually 5 in that department working. I then had to go into the shop and show the mechanic how to put the spare back under the vehicle. Like really?
Decent selection but make sure everything is undamaged and all pieces are in the package, I've had many missing pieces or broken parts after opening the package
So went to Canadian tire to get some cleaning supplies, with my wife and two children.ended up getting followed threw out the store while I was shopping, by the Muslim worker with a curled mustache. To me this was very inappropriate and totally not necessary as it made us uncomfortable. While I was looking for some rags and wax to clean my car, my wife was on the other isle looking at the car seats with my 2 year old daughter. The Muslim worker then approaches my wife and starts to talk to her inappropriately about how her day was and what her plans were. Check your cameras this happened from 8-15 to 8: 45 we were in the store today. I And I bumped into him on every isle I went down! Over 15 times. I’m a local bussines owner and this Is not how you treats people, I will be posting the video of how many times he followed us on social media.
Awesome products but always horrible service, they judge by the colour of your skin. The service there is nonexistant if you're Native, also the people in each department are CLUELESS to what's being sold, especially the Automotive dept, they know nothing of vehicles and always find the wrong part for you to bring back. Other places don't give you the wrong part.
Even during the pandemic they are doing everything necessary to keep people safe. Store is clean. Staff are as friendly as ever. Line up's are fast moving.
Lots of stuff in here but it's a CTire. So if you know about the store, this doesn't disappoint. Went of Wasp killer, buy apperently everyone else was too lol.
Somebody is always there asking if you need help. Anybody needing bikes. Their selection is not to bad. Basic but if you need a bike to go somewhere or for recreational use or exercise. Then they have a decent selection of affordable bikes.
I personally think it is silly that they don't accept Canadian Tire Money anymore. When I called corporate they had no clue when they were going to make a decision on it. They will accept real cash which gets handled multiple times everyday but the cash that sits in a jar in my cupboard for years is too much of a covid risk for them. This is a giant disappointment.
Was in town Sunday to get groceries etc (from an hour out of town) only to find I had very low tire pressure in one tire from a slow leak. Sunday - no tire shops are open and did not have a gauge to go fill myself at a gas station. Stopped in at Canadian Tire and even though the autobody shop was closed, Keinan was very happy to still give me a hand filling it up! Much thanks! Was able to make it back home again. Ps. I purchased a tire gauge while in Canadian Tire, for next time:)
Great store.but they had the only Canadian Tire store I've seen with a door watcher. A stocky Asian fellow.obviously there to deter theft. Being the man I am I mentioned to this fellow that he must be the highest paid person in the store.because if there was someone who needed to be hurt in the event that some one (God forbid) wanted to boost something.he was going to be the one who got his head cracked open so they could get away.he looked at me like a 4 year-old.don't put people in that position Canadian Tire.
They are short staffed right now so the store is open from 9-6. Despite the shortage, it's always a good experience shopping at the Wainwright Canadian Tire.

Nice big Canadian Tire store, the reason I gave four stars is I was looking for a truck battery and I couldn't get anybody to help me.there was one other customer being helped with a battery. I stood there for 15 minutes and finally I just left. Other than that I really liked the store.
Just got a new set of 4 tires installed on Friday FEB 28 /20, and had to go back again to get a few thinks that where missed in the inspection or on the installation of the tires that needed repaired badly on Tuesday Mar 3, after talking with the staff they directed me to the owner of the store about the repairs that I needed and received, he was awesome and very fair to deal with and he worked with me on the invoice, the staff was good with me and helped me my concerns. Thanks chip
Bathrooms had really old dookie everywhere, no locks, broken down and a sign that said, "we take pride in the cleanliness of our bathrooms. If they are at all unsatisfactory please tell an employee. " So I told the guys at the service counter and they shrugged thier shoulders and said "meh". So gross and sad that nobody cares.
Found an item I wanted online. They stated that they had 5 in stock at this location. Looked for the item but couldn't find it. Finally found a staff to help us and after aprox 15min they confirmed that they had the item but it was in their warehouse. The staff was great; went and got it for us. It would be a better all around experience if the store filled their stock on a regular basis.
Has issues getting into my community mail box and they helped me figure it out. Also they guy in the paint department got me the right stuff for the job!
Worst customer service ever received at Canadian tire automobile department. Last week got new tire put on my car. They said that my tire pressure monitoring system has some problem but it will reset on it's own after driving certain kilometers and if that doesn't happen then they will reset it. Yesterday, I drove in for re-torque and I asked them to take a look for TPMS as well as it didn't reset on it's own. The technician was unsuccessful to reset it so he asked me to rebook an appointment for recalibration and also metioned that it should be done last week when they put the new tires on. When I went inside their supervisor helped me and he said that they have to reprogram it and it will be extra charge. Very poor communication and lake of knowledge between the technician and supervisor as they were telling 2 different things for the same problem. Supervisor had no clue but recommended me for reprogramming. I took my vehicle to Honda where originally I bought it and they reset TPMS in few minutes with no charge. Service department at Honda also metioned that there was no problem with programming at all. What a way to rip people by musguiding them!
Because it's a smaller store it seems very crowded in order to get the selection they need. Service desk was very slow, and all staff were more interested in visiting with each other than helping.
Couldn't find what I wanted and they were short staff at auto moto so couldn't get my signal nite fixed had to go else wheres but as a rule they are great there
Worst experience of a store ever.the first time i've been there in 10 years and my last.i came in with a couple of bags immediately they call security and took my bags to the customer service desk.extremely embarrassing.then the final insults was some duchbag was following use through the store and it was so obvious to the point that i found what i was wanting to get and just paid and left.hope they realize that just because a person looks a certain way doesn't mean they are going to do anything bad.i will never go back there i would rather go to home hardware and pay a little more for the same item where FYI i have never had this problem! The only reason why i went to this store is because i had a gift card which now i regret!
Hate going here.never enough staff, no one looks like they like coming to work, not helpful at all.used to be a great place at one time but sure has gone downhill for customer service
Worst store in Lloyd. No one will help you when you are looking for something. If you do happen to find something to buy, good luck paying for it. They never have enough till open. You will wait in line for days to pay. Save yourself and go somewhere else
Not great experiences here. Got new tires and they replaced my good condition tire valve caps with cracked ones that never stay on. Weird. Another time I returned a new tool and they scrutinized the package like as if I'd used it. Weird.
No staff to assist with what was needed, told to come back tomorrow and then systems are down at the till when going to pay for the little they could help with. Very disappointed I stopped.
