Went in to the service Center with a flat tire, I asked how much it would be to get it fixed, the guy didn’t even look up at me, just kept looking at his computer and told me the price. I then said ok and asked if they had time to get it done same day, again without even looking up he just laughed at me then said no. I’m no customer service expert but I would suggest “sorry sir we don’t have time today, how about x day” this store’s customer service completely sucks. Never going to this location again.

Wouldn’t recommend using click and collect at this store.
You have to go to the customer service line, and standing in line there takes longer than just going through the store to grab what you need.

Don't go here for curbside pickup. I wait for 25 mins and the phone line was an endless loop but eventually it went to voicemail where it was full. Went inside to pickup my order instead and wasn't even help at the Customer Service. This store manager should go to Manning location and see how they run stuff there. I eventually cancel my order afterwards.

I am not surprised to see the poor rating for this store. Service department is terrible and inconsistent with their service from one week to the next. All their staff combined are about as competent as 1 rep at a dealership or more reputable place.

My memory lapsed and thought I would go for convenience. Shame on me for that.

I am giving 2 stars instead of one, because they at least figured out how to unlock the door to the store. That is a start.

Went to Canadian Tire for winter tires and had the unpleasant experience of dealing with Kevin. First he clearly was in no hurry to help customers waiting in the store and I also overheard him being quite rude with someone on the phone. Then he was completely rude, condescending and actually quite combative. It didn’t matter what was said to him he was rude. I understand that it’s busy as heck and that he clearly was at the end of his shift and wanted to leave - but that’s hardly our problem. We didn’t buy from him but rather waited until he left and dealt with another associate who was great - which is why I am leaving a 3 star instead of a 1. Kevin could seriously use some customer service training or perhaps a different job since he seems to dislike working with customers.

The manager woman at this Canadian tire is rude and also very weak minded person no personality at all, And most of the floor staff at this location are not willing to help when it comes to finding an item from the right location the item is at, Whenever i was at this store all i got was lip service

Wow what A Joke The Parts Manager is Mr know it All i asked for A clear Coat from behind their locked cabinet he Gave me the wrong Clear Coat it supposed to be Clear it has Rain bow Metallic colors I called to complain he tells I picked it out which he is not telling the truth I Asked him i need A Clear Coat he hands me the wrong one when I Asked him is it Glossy he said the paint normally has the shine I said no its the Clear coat brings the shine out and there is A Matt Clear coat as well, what A Joke Shame on you. Don't go here if you want good service. This is one of the top two worst places we have ever experienced, and honestly in my opinion you can probably get better service from inmates in jail. Don't go to the mindless unprofessional auto shop department is my best advice for you. We went there to get a timing belt change and they started by trying to bill us all sneaky for more services without our permission and before even doing the job too or even checking the car if it actually needs those services (thankfully we were keen on that). When we said no to the other services, the front guy was so rude and made a smart remark because we weren't getting those fix too as if it is him who is paying for it. Anyways when we went back to pick up the car they told my wife that something else was wrong with the car but when she asked what it was, the front guy seemed clueless and called some guy named Pierre who was titled "service advisor" but the title didn't serve him what's so ever because he was such a arrogant careless rude individual that his answer was "there is something wrong but I can't tell you what it is" and as my wife is about to say "we have a small child so we need to know if it is safe to drive" without letting her talk he walks away with the same useless miserable arrogant look he walked in with. This Pierre was the same one that called us to say the car was done and was also trying to sell us more services aggressively and when my wife said "not right now thanks" he gave her attitude. Now it seems to me they just want you to throw all your money to them right away without giving an answer and giving us "the customers" all this rudeness and aggressiveness.

3.5 hours to install a set of winter tires, WITH AN APPOINTMENT. Couldn't be bothered to put caps on the valve stems, lucky I had a spare set of my own in the glove compartment I guess. Brand new tires left filthy after install and needed to be washed. $130 for this "service".

0/10. I will definitely go somewhere else next time I need my tires changed over.

Normally things are fine when I come here. Employees are pleasant and generally helpful. Perhaps they are even too nice in the instance? We watched the employees welcome and assist a (coughing) anti masker her entire duration there, and the two managers (wearing black) watched her walk by and did not approach her at all. I eavesdropped on her conversation until the lady started coughing lots, and not once was the mask policy mentioned by any employee. I can't say that I am comfortable with them not adhering to bylaw, so I would recommend that you reconsider visit here if you are concerned about this topic.
And to management, you can check your cameras.

This is one great Canadian Tire store. Lots to variety stuff and they always have new products available at their store. I sometimes go the CT just to have a look at the new innovative products on display. Other best part of CT is that you get free tire pressure air check and refill at their Automobile department.

What a joke of a store. Went to get a peace of mind inspection, which takes usually an hour to complete. Had it scheduled on a Sunday and Kevin at the automotive department informed me that it'll take a few hours. 3 or 4 hours is all fine, but six and a half hours later until it got completed! Not a text message from the store to update me on my vehicle, no apology from Kevin regarding the tardiness and to top it all off after I spoke to his manager right in front of him he never made eye contact or spoke to me. Kevin get a new job because you clearly are atrocious at customer service.

Horrible customer service! First time i wxperience at at canadian tire!
After waiting for 30 min in line. I come to talk to customer service and while i am talking to her she walked away ignoring me! She was very rude lady! I dont think that a person in such department should be in such personality! Hopefully managment can have a closer look at this and have a chat with her! This location i will never attend no more due to the type of customer service i received!

This Canadian tire is understaffed. Trying to find things in the store is difficult and when you need someone to get something behind the locked cases, no one comes. I hope the renovation will help and they’re able to find more staff.

Was not impressed I moved here from west end where you can ask someone and they don't srugg their attention and don't bother to even look. I will drive back to west end where you are helped happily not like I was wasting 2 employees time about the gossip phone in hand if I say nicely excuse me hello 2 times and not a look the next words are not going to be NICE.

I ordered an item on line and got to the store and went to someone at the customer service counter and pointed out that the pickup device said my code was wrong. They pointed out that my slip said to to go customer service and said that they could have it brought up. After waiting for 1/2 hour I asked again and was told that they could not find the person that was to bring it up and would now have it brought up. This was a waste of my time for an item that I ordered ahead to help prevent this.

I needed new work gloves. Why not Canadian Tire, right? Well, this particular location has their work gloves behind the parts counter. This place must be over 50,000 sq feet and work gloves are behind the parts counter, with no access to customers. They're actually hanging on a pegboard in a very dimly lit area, so you can't even see them without being super close.
I was told that I would have to wait in line at that counter, in order to just browse, or shop for gloves. What? Why is this the case? Like any other article of clothing, one should be able to look at styles, sizes, features and even try them on.
What is so special about your gloves that they can't be accessed while shopping? The lineup at the parts counter was 5 or 6 customers deep and not moving at all. This is incredibly inconvenient, and I walked out and went to Gregg's, who were more than happy to allow me to shop and try on at my leisure.
This needs to be fixed, Canadian Tire is better than that.

The store itself is nice, I get the area is a bit rough but holy smokes is ever brutal if you need a balljoint puller, JB weld and some paint you literally have to flag down somebody to open 3 separate locked cases for you

Had issues with my van, called and they booked me with same tech for July 1. Ryan B. At the counter gave the BEST customer service I have ever received. He deserves a promotion and raise! If every employee treated customers the way Ryan does, you would have a non-stop busy store. He was empathetic, caring, and accommodating. Thanks Ryan for the excellent experience!

Long time customer: Great "catch-all" style store that is better than a dollar store for the bigger stuff, and cheaper than most parts places for in-stock style bits. We have bought things like locking gas caps to 10,000 btu AC units and tons of camping and outdoor equipment. I have found the staff to be young and enthusiastic and willing to learn as much as help. A fathers day one shop stop.

I prefer to call it last choice shop. I hot gift and wanted to return it and get store credit but they don't accept inless I have the receipt, customer service asked me to ask my freind to give me the purchase receipt ao they can offwr atore credit.

Will never buy feom them again. I prefer to deal with better customer store.

Thanks for nothing Canadian tire. I love you Costco.

I was in mid explanation to Manager on Duty, when he started to talk to other staff and customers – ignoring my concern then just walked away. When I called the store to speak the General Manager Gordon Pawluk, the person told me, he was “not to be paged at all”. I was forward to Tanya Park’s voice mail. I was looking for an engine air filter for my car, the staff at the car department told me they dont have it and that the only one available is in the west side of Edmonton. I go there to get it, but the air filter did not fit my car. I try to return the air filter the next day at the location closest to me, but they refuse to accept even though receipt says “any Canadian tire”. I feel wrong by this cuz they told me to go to that location but refuse to accept the return and told me rudely they will not. I wasted my time and effort. So people please be aware that even tho receipt says you can return within the timeframe and at any location, Canadian tire will not stand truth to their words.

Great Canadian store, and you'll find a lot of items like home improvement and holiday decorations. Need to do more on customer service, easy access for price tags, and for some reason most of the time the app doesn't work in the store so I have to use browser to open my account and check what I searched previously.

Brought vehicle in to swap winter tires for summer tires. Over numerous years and shops my lengthiest wait for this service has been 45 min, today I sat in the waiting room for 2 hrs watching as technicians accessed the engine for no reason, left the vehicle unattended for 10 min at a time (3 separate times) to go chat and laugh with delivery drivers or walk the lot.

This is a horrible Canadian tire to shop at. Had a question which was customer service related and with accordance to their "price match" policy, i was treated extremely rudely by Gordon P.a manager who had no intention of helping and walked away with no care. I was told by a cashier to talk to customer service with no avail. I will not shop at this location again.

I like how they are open early and also really love the service here. The only thing that I don't like is how busy customer service can get at times which leads to 10 - 20 minute waits. However, the store is kept clean, it is a decent size and is also usually well stocked. The cashiers are usually very nice and are friendly too. I also really like filling up my water here which only costs about 2 dollars.

Dont go here to buy any plumbing supplies they dont let you look inside the boxes to make sure it will fit when your buying any taps. They also have no idea how to help you buy the correct ones either pretty dumb useless system. So I went to Lowes and they helped me in under 10min and the price was better!

Our experience today was degrading and down right humiliating! It'd give zero stars to this store, if that was an option! There was no parking by the automotive side so we parked closest to their main doors of the store. I am using crutches, and my husband asks two people at the customer service desk if they would kindly override the doors so that on a day like today cold, wet and snowing, I didn't have to walk across the parking lot. Where has humanity gone? This young uneducated, uncaring employee of the store lied to my husband and told him that they could not override the doors. We know that all doors can be overridden! As I stood there waiting on my husband to come around and open the doors for me, I'm being completely ignored by the women behind the customer service desk. How rude, to treat your customers this way! Even the set up of this store, makes customers feel like criminals upon entering! We are wondering if this is even legal on the way there store is set up. Are they trying to tell us in an emergency (fire) that they can't override those doors? Is that even up to fire code standards? One way into the building only? Only one way in, and only one way out. Ive never felt so degraded as I have today. I hope those two employees get a lesson on showing compassion to others and that no one else is ever made to feel like how I felt! Perhaps the Canadian tire company should consider retraining all of their employees on showing compassion and respect to there customers, espically those who are mobility challenged.

This Canadian Tire got no Star from me. I bought a car battery like a year ago and now it won't recharge. This battery had 3 year warranty on it. This store will not replace me with a new one. I will never buy a battery from Canadian Tire again. Will go to Costco where they back up, what they sell.

Cashier not accept to redeem my triangle reward through my phone apps. I asked her couple times and she kept say NO to me. She asked if I do have actual reward plastic card that they offered in-store, I said No, because I got my reward card through mobile phone apps.
I was confused by that. What’s point to have apps then.
Today, I’m at different location.
I was surprised that cashier asked if I want to redeem triangle reward money, and she redeemed it from my phone.
I gave 2 stars because the girl that’s working in Vacuum aisle very helpful.
Cashier not so much. Store should have the same policy. Won’t be back this location.

Was there tonight, disappointed to find many more items locked behind glass now. I had to wait over 10 minutes two separate times and search around for the mystical Canadian Tire employees I'm told exist. Very annoying, if nothing else maybe have a call button next to the cases.

Love Canadian Tire. This location is great, it's a large store with a fantastic selection. The staff are always friendly and helpful and you don't have to chase them down. I wish I knew his name, but there is an older gentleman who works in the sports section who is always super helpful, he always asks how he can be of assistance and never rushes us. He absolutely makes it a great shopping experience every single time. Canadian Tire was always my husband's favorite store, but I have a soft spot for it as well.

Went to this location to return automotive items, was told automotive parts and items needed to be returned at the Automotive Parts desk. After spending 10 minutes in the first line, I was asked to join the end of another long line, 25 minutes later I was finally ready to return. 35 minutes to return $10 of merchandise is unacceptable. This policy stinks, will not be returning this location again.

Asked for literally 7 different car parts for the same car and they only had a cabin air filter in-store. All the parts they didn't have they wouldn't even order in. And took 20 minutes to find the filter.lol
