Incredible staff and management. I returned my toddlers car seat because there was a manufacturers defect. It was 2 days after the return and warranty period but they honoured them anyways because of the obvious defect. Thank you!

So this is incredibly annoying, I tried to call to see if I could change my appointment for getting a rim swapped onto a different tire as well as an oil Change, however, I have called seven different times and four of which I’ve been hung up on and the other three I’ve been on hold for 10 minutes to a half an hour Each time, I don’t really understand what’s so hard about answering a phone and transferring me to someone else, as well as why I’m getting hung up on without answer

Amelia and Dan were great, i got a battery recently and had some challenges. Took it in and the team worked with me to get it going. I borrowed tools, they got it charged (the process was long 6hrs). However, i didnt stay all of that time. Dan helped with with all the question and provided exception support on some products i was looking at.and at the end Amelia and her friend (coworker) helped me solve the issue with the battery dying. Thanks team.best CT ive been to coming from Calgary.

Terrible experience at auto service department of this location. Poor customer service. They won’t even explain anything to you. Also, appointment was at 11 am and it was only break pad diagnosis. I had to call them to enquire about status of my car around 2 pm.

I am absolutely not happy with the man Who spoke to my daughter today at Canadian tire. His name was Fred. He was rude not helping in anyway and threw her keys at her when he said what was wrong. In no way did he offer a “fix” for the problem. If it had been my husband there I’m sure it would have been different. She was there for alignment and was told they weren’t going to do it but again no fix or told what needed to be done to correct it. In no way am I happy with what happened. I’m concerned if he did this to her what has he done to others.

It is not illegal to put 2 new tires on your new car even if they are studded but canadan tire will tell you that it is.

After you made the purchase and appointment to have them put on (why didn't they say something before instead of wasting my time.)

So just go down the street to a licensed auto shop and they will put them on just left and got it done lol.
The auto department at airdrie canadan tire don't know anything it's all about up sale.

I think iam going to cancel my canadan tire master card.

STAY AWAY 4 tire repair. Had slow leak in rear tire. 1st visit told need 2 reseal. Next week still leaking told oh, its leaking at stem, need 2 replace TPMS sensor. Driving home warning light comes on. New sensor not registering with car computer. 3rd visit 2 replace their faulty sensor told oh, tire has bulge in center need 2 replace. Told them I just want my car back. They had put on my spare without my permission. Asked where is my original tire? Oh, its not holding air its no good. I drove that morning from Calgary it was fine and I cked the tire pressure b4 I left. Why was it now not holding air? Stuck in Airdrie as cant use my emergency tire on hwy back home. Went to K*l T*re. They helped me & even offered 2 throw in a new TPMS no charge 2 replace the faulty one Cdn. Tire put in, but it wasn't faulty Cdn. Tire had just 4gotten 2 reprogram the car after install. Still out the money from Cdn. Tire from the 2 invoices I paid but won't return!

Made my day today. I came in with a dead battery for my Ford F150 but no receipt. Figured I was just buying a new one.but they went out of their way to look up my purchase information, after checking it and found out it was still under warranty. Walkwd out with a new battery.no charge. Made my day!

Went in for new winter tires, took 30 minutes per tires and they messed up the alignment on my car.they didn't know how to do it 10 years ago and still don't know

Went in to buy some ammo with my two young girls. Judy at the front greeted us when we walked in. When we went to the hunting section no one was there.
A manager (Melissa) walked by and I asked for help. I was told to come back in 2-3 hours as someone called in sick. I was confused as I’ve never had that issue before but went to leave.
Judy at the front asked if I found everything as I was about to unload the kids from the cart. Judy walked me to the back check my pal and gave me the ammo I required. 5 stars for Judy but in what world would a manager say come back later. Not good.

Ended up losing my sons brand new Baby shark hat here today, which made for a very unhappy boy.

Called and it had not been turned in:/
But right before closing Kelly? In customer service us that they found it when cleaning up and I was able to pickup right way.

Wow this place need mechanics badly, they checked my car and found nothing I checked myself and found all 4 tires are different, the car has missfire and fuel pump is bad. The worst this is that they charged me 150$ for the check. Please go anywhere else but this place be warned.

Warning- long less than one star review. But, this store doesn't even deserve a one star. Absolutely disgusting treatment we received following purchasing 1300$ in tires and service on our vehicle. I presented on the day of install to pay and pick up our vehicle by riding my bike, but was told by the service cashier that I couldn't pay because I needed to use Apple Pay and that was not "accommodated". When I asked if there was a manager that could make the exception over override the no Apple Pay policy to save me biking all the way home after a long night shift as a front line worker she replied "no, Im sorry but you know there are things Id rather be doing right now too". I left the store and our $100,000 dollar truck was left in the parking lot overnight. Thats right, they couldn't even drive it into the shop for overnight as most service departments do for security reasons. The next day, we arrived to pick up and we told the same cashier that we would be paying by partial gift card and the remainder on our debit account. She got confused and didn't seem to know how to process the transaction having us swipe our gift card 5 times and ultimately voided the transaction and wanted to start over. We asked her, but knew full well by then that the money was taken off the gift card. She replied " oh no, the money should still be on the card". It wasn't and after we called the gift card company, were told it would take a week to be refunded. Several layers of management were called and not a single individual would take ownership over the mistake made by the cashier and the response we received was "the only solution is that you pay a different way. " Wow, what complete arrogance and incompetence. We left upset and ultimately financially inconvenienced. This particular store will never get our business again. We respectfully request a response by ownership please.

Really wish I was able to give a zero star rating. The experience is tainted. The service manager has no idea how to handle a concern. Just shouts he doesn’t need to be talked to. Offers zero input or solutions for the complete incompetence of his department.
Has to have another department manager talk to customers.
The problem faced with is 700 was taken off a gift card. The cashier then voids the transaction. Then insists she has done this dozens of times. Then proceeds to tell me it’s not her fault the money should have been returned. Nope. One hour of waiting to “ wake up the only person who knows how to do this “. Cashier leaves to have another employee stand there offering no solution. Service Manager has zero clue.
Money not returned to gift card. Over 24 hours. Still shows the transaction being put through. Not a follow up to correct the situation. Not a concern other than overcharging 700.
Dear Shoppers please go anywhere else to buy your items.

Dawson Rocks! Came in looking for the one solar pool heater in stock with no hopes of it actually being there at the end of Row 23. Sure enough it wasn’t there, but Dawson remembered it coming in and cheerfully found it for us in the back. You need to pay him more. Best experience we’ve had at Canadian Tire in a loooong time. Thanks Dawson!

Went in to pick up online order. Item was not available. Customer service was horrible. Not helpful, not able to tell us if and when it would be available, not willing to call order stores. Yvonne was rude and unhelpful.

Never any staff to ask questions. People in "leadership" roles think they are far to important to be polite to their staff and their customers. There's never anything in stock at the appropriate time of season. The only positive thing are the teenaged cashiers. They are always polite and friendly.

Well Canadian tire. I tried to give the store an opportunity to solve or even respond to this before I share my experience online but with no response in over a week it’s obvious that this store really just doesn’t care. The other reviews on here echo that same observation. It’s obvious that this location has a serious accountability issue and it may be up to the Corp office to do something about it either through additional training or worst case a change of management. Below is an email I’d like to share so anyone else looking to shop at this location can maybe chose to instead support a local store or a place that really cares.

I would like to voice my concerns over a recent experience I had at your store 407 in airdrie. However I’m looking through the online reviews my thoughts on hearing back on this are not high. Today I purchased a couple of items including some cci 22 ammunition. I had asked the person behind the sporting counter (Jordan) for some 22 and because of the distance from the counter to the ammunition lockers I could not read the labels so I assumed I was getting the correct product. Your store has a policy that the clerk brings the ammo to the front checkouts before I can handle or look this over. Because of the busy day and the long line up the clerk was unable to bring this directly to the cashier and instead brought it to the shelves behind the customer checkout. I waited in line and advised the cashier that I was also purchasing the 22 ammo that was left behind the customer service desk. She grabbed it rang it through and placed it directly into the bag. Through this entire process I had not touched nor handled the boxes myself. After I left the store I realized the error as these were both boxes of 22 shorts (which nobody buys at anything close to the volume of 22 long rifle) 22 shorts are a very niche and small portion of the market. So I brought them back with the expectation of an exchange to be treated by the floor manager Shannon who basically dismissed everything I had to say pointed out policy and gave me the too bad line. Even after pointing out that it was your employee that gave me the wrong product to start with. So unless I opened my bag and looked in the 10 feet between the cashier checkout and the front door the entire blame of an employee not doing their job falls on me. This is ridiculous. And if the rule is Canadian law against ammunition returns then fine. At least offer me a 26$ gift card to compensate me for the issue so I can buy the proper ones. Instead it’s nope you get nothing I understand our employee screwed up but because you crossed the magic dissolution of responsibility line at the front door I’m told that all errors are now on me. I spend far too much money each year on sporting goods at your store. Well over 500$ in the past 30 days alone and if you want to lose my business as a store permanently over a 26$ error then that’s absolutely fine by me.

I honestly would have settled for an apology for the error again caused by your employee but the way I was treated by the manager is ridiculous. I’ve worked in customer service for many years and the most important thing you can do is to take ownership of your staffs mistakes. Everybody makes them. But don’t hide behind policy as a shield because you are to proud to admit your staff did anything wrong. Again I would be shocked if this second line of communication leads to any response. But we will see.

** update. After reading through the Canadian firearms act. I see zero references to the return of purchased ammunition to a vendor in Canada. It appears that your staff are being trained to hide behind a law that does not exist.

I ordered a bike online. From this location I had no idea that they had to actually put it together. So I drove in from Calgary to pick it up and it wasn’t ready. I wasted my time and gas there to do so. That was on a Friday. Which they told me it would be ready on Tuesday. So I called on Tuesday. It still wasn’t ready. I finally got a call Thursday telling me it was ready to pick up. I had missed an earlier call that same day. But I had answered the second call. At which time they told me I pretty much had to rush out there to get it in the next 24 to 48 hours otherwise they were going to cancel it. I have never had such a hassle to buy a bike. I have been waiting on them for a week. And they demand a rush out there otherwise it’s gonna be cancelled!

Some of the worst customer service I have experienced. Stood in line for 7minutes while 3 ladies chatted away. When I asked if I could be helped, one employee responded that they are getting caught up on things before breaks. Meanwhile there is a lineup of people waiting. What an absolute joke.

Days after purchasing a hose that was $30, I went back as it was leaking. The seal was busted and I am told they cannot do anything because I don't have the receipt. Well upon purchasing this hose, the receipt machine kept jamming and all the paper was bunching up when she kept trying to reprint so I left with no receipt thinking I wouldn't have an issue. $30 wasted and they won't even do a straight exchange.

Asked for a quote on changing the thermostat and coolant in the automotive dept.this is for a 5.7 L, 2009 Ram 1500.
She printed off a quote for a 6 cylinder Ram, I pointed out that the quote was for a different truck!
She said it was close enough!
Clearly not more coolant required!
Additional labor!
She didnt seem concerned!
With my truck and money close enough doesnot cut it!
Donot have service work done here by uncaring staff!

Every time I go in here the employees are absolutely miserable and never want to help. Haven’t been in two years and thought I would give them another try, and same exact experience.

Went to CANADIAN TIRE in search of replacement inner tubes and a bike for my wife. I see the bike selection is very low and lots seem to be sold. The ones there were $400 plus. We ended up biying a bike elsewhere but at least they have bike parts and other sporting goods in case that is what you need. Kitchenwares, automotive, garden, option galore. Seasonal choices of products rotate as expected. Staff is friendly.

This Canadian Tire has always been relatively unfriendly, but that's to be expected from a giant chain. Today we went in to buy two bikes. Nobody in the department, and nobody with any knowledge or training. We finally track down an employee (ten minutes of searching) and ask for help getting the bikes down from the rack. She says she will get help - nobody ever comes. Fast forward 35 minutes and we finally track another employee down to help. He arrives and let's us know that there is nobody in the store trained on the lift and we can wait an hour for that persons shift to start. How is nobody able to get a bike down at noon on a Saturday in spring!? We left and spent our $ 2000 elsewhere. Won't come back. In the end I was able to support a small business instead of a greedy corporate chain - WIN.

I highly recommend Canadian Tire for kitchen products as you can save big if you watch for the sales. I bought a huge frying pan, The Rock, BEST PAN EVER. Seriously you can cook bacon, sausage and then fry an egg in it without it sticking and easy to wash and was 75% off

After tonight i will be taking my auto needs some where els and i would encourage others to do so as well took a friend to get there car batterie tested when on arrival they told my friend that if they took the batterie out that they wouldn't charge for it now my friend who lives in the city has no access to tools or a shop too do such things so long story short i will not support a business that cant do a simple task such as testing a batterie with out throwing a shop rate in
