I'm going to give them a 3 for service. I spent 45 minutes walking around the tool section looking for a T30 bit. When I found a CT associate I asked them, they said they should be down row 19. Walking up and down the row could not find the bit. I had several CT employees walk by and never once did anyone ask if I need help. I eventually found them, there was another pack hanging above what I was looking for and the package was covering the item.

There are hidden fees at Automotive Service. If you want to do alignment, they will charge extra $50 for checking the car. If they do tire change, they charge you for nitrogen gas without asking first. Terrible service. Would never go there again.

This is my favorite Canadian Tire in Calgary. Employees are always willing to help and this store is organized and clean.

I just had a battery installed at Shawnessy store I was very impressed with Justin I was anxious because I just had my car die and in my 70 s and he made me feel valued unlike the other 2 men that were working there I came back this morning and again Justin helped when 2 of his coworkers said they couldn't I needed a battery for my key fob and had never done it before justin took me to Chad who fixed it for me

Impossible to get through to the automotive department. Will probably need to walk up to the counter for a quote. Is

Bought a set of tires four years ago. Paid for the warranty. Recently had one tire get damaged beyond repair so we took our truck in under warranty to replace the tires.

Originally they quoted us $500 to have the tires fixed under warranty. I understand the balance and install would not be covered and am willing to pay that. The balance and install only cost roughly $200 and they wanted us to pay the difference in cost for the new tire install since they do not offer a tire at the same price point we paid.

I called to express my frustration at how we should not have to pay out of pocket for new tires when our tires are under warranty. The gentleman on the phone agreed and quoted us the cost for install and balance.

We got a call the next day before we brought the truck in and I guess Canadian tire decided they were going to charge us again for the price difference between the tires.

I called to express my frustration regarding the additional charge again and was essentially told that we need to pay an additional $200 to replace our tires under warranty.

I'm sorry that the tires are discontinued but that is not my fault and Canadian tire feels that that is my problem.

Please honor my warranty and replace my tires with new ones under warranty.

Do no purchase tires from Canadian Tire and if you decided to do not purchase the warranty because they will not honor it.

With the renovation they are going trough, you can't find anything. I tried to purchase an axe, seems to have five in stock and the employee could find it. One star for now.

Very unsatisfied.don't care about customer at all.didn't even ask what happened to my car. Very unprofessional.please educate them its a very bad for canadian tire name.

There is a reason I only shop here 1 in 5 years. Poor customer service. I asked a staff member where something was and I did not even get a point in the right direction only a little half wave and like 8 aisles it could be in. Other employees would just turn down an aisle to avoid talking to people. Just not a good place to shop unless you know what you want and where it is.

I found the product I wanted to buy, but the staff seemed unfamiliar with the location of the product.

I'm not that familiar with Canadian Tire and was amazed by the variety of items. However, it was a bit difficult to find things. A friend says you can find the aisle number on the website though so maybe that would have helped.

Open store not too busy. I go to buy a light.friendly staff no problems there. They did not have the light in stock.

The store is bit of a mess as they're changing over to fall stock but the staff is still as helpful and friendly as ever.

Very incompetent manager, Dan, works on the Automotive sector. They supposed to do a full diagnostic on electrical system of my car to see why it does not start occasionally. They spent less than half an hour and said the battery does not take a recharge! A new battery that charges perfectly and I already tested by another mechanic with a full report. They made me to pay 140 $ for this surface diagnostic which supposed to be a full and deep one. Absolutely no report on starter, alternator or wiring. Absolute ripoff by a rude manager. By the way still my battery recharges perfectly by my alternator!
Before dropping your car ask for the name of the manager. If he is still Dan Javaheri then AVOID THIS PLACE at any cost.

I filled a complaint by calling the provided number on the comment. They backed to me and repeated what the mechanic said. They said I should change the battery because it doesn't take recharge. Laughable company. My battery still working perfectly after ten days. Avoid them folks. They dont care about costumers.

The customer service in the garden centre is quite poor. The employees are unfriendly and unhelpful on more than one occasion.

They don't honor medical or religious mask exemptions, you realize there are people out there that have breathing problems.right? !

Sylvain makes the Pro Shop experience better than Cabelas or Bass. Highly recommend this location for Guns & Ammo. Knowledgeable and Friendly.

Bought a electric drill five years ago at Canadian Tire. The drill face just dropped off some clip in it broke, it was the master craft brand. Thinking that it was life time warranty think not. Their associate don't know the products very well. They were going to replace the unit then not, they wasted my time talking to the manger over the phone.
I was not impressed and have had other disappointments there. Customer service is definitely gone down hill.
I will be buying more stuff at princesses auto and very little at Canadian Tire.

Dan the manager passed my vehicle on inspection, when picking it up it was clear to see something was off with my suspension, they asked me to leave it with them. I received a very rude call from Dan saying it was my fault but they fixed the problem free off charge and was informed the problem was due to my ac compressor shorting out my system. I took it to another service provider who should me the my air suspension was leaking and my air compressor was failing, they explained that Dan's team filled my air suspension up knowing it was leaking and passed my car on its inspection, I would not recommend this team to work on your car unless you like being disrespected and sent off in unsafe car. This would be the 3rd car they have give me the wrong diagnosis for that cost me money, I will not be returning ever.

My rating score-0. I went there for a flat tire but they diagnosed my 4Runner with sensor malfunction which in fact i got a flat tire (my husband checked the rear tire by spraying the tire with water and bubbles came out from the tire) which was fixed by Canyon Meadows Toyota and guess what nothing wrong with the sensor. Horrible experienced and unreliable.

Stopped today to patch a tire 45 min before store closing time and they gladly took my vehicle patched the tire and sent me out happy. This is real top tier customer service. Thanks Mitch!

Went to get my 2 front wheels replaced because it’s been running flat. Guy said they can’t fix it which is fine and I said I’ll just get 2 new tires. He said they need to change 4 tires because my car is 4 wheel drive. I told him I just literally change my 2 rare tires last month. From Canadian tire as well because I had a nail stuck in one of the tires. He said they can’t do it for just 2 tires. Went to another Canadian tire and they said they can absolutely do 2 tires. That’s it! Never going back here. This is not the first time. Also the guy I talk to was not welcoming at all.

Auto service manager Dan was more than exceptional. I came in as a walk in and he was able to take care of me right away. His team was able to tackle the electrical issue in regards to my headlights. He was honest and reliable, and he even gave me back All of my old car parts which I very much appreciated (I’ve had shop techs throw out old parts instead of giving them back). Very professional, thank you guys for all your hard work! I will be back.

The auto service frontline members, including the service manager, lack essential human qualities. They are soulless, and empathy is zilch! They make no effort to formulate a better customer experience. Would you please not visit this place for your auto repairs? There are a few other CT auto service centers that strive to create a better customer experience. I think the CT HQ should do more and get these guys appropriately trained, again. It is the era of the customers!

Today I watched a man try to buy a lawnmower. He had a simple question but was ignored by a group of three staff members. So he walked on and tried with two others. As he approached they headed away from him going the way opposite of the arrows on the floor. This caused other customers to have to walk against the arrows to get away from the two. Later a group of 5 staff were discussing work but you couldn't get past them to look down some aisles as they left their stocking carts blocking other areas.stock had been left in many locations preventing areas to be shopped. I'll shut up now and try to find a different Canadian Tire store.

Terrible customer service from Clarina. Unacceptable. "6 years of service" her badge read.must have been hell of a service!

It is the second time that I feel mistreated in this store, specifically in this location. The first time, I requested the help of one of the advisers of the place, to buy some skates for my son, the adviser did it with total contempt, and today that I returned to buy my son's birthday present, they asked me to leave the suitcases to keep at the entrance of the warehouse, and when I went to leave them, they checked them and made me show the receipts of what was inside, without even having entered the warehouse. Is it because they heard my accent when I spoke? Honestly, it felt like an act of racism.

We really enjoy going to Canadian tire, you never know what you’re going to get, and there’s always things that are cheap enough that when the kids ask you can say yes. The stores layout is the same as any other Canadian tire you’ve been to, and they have all the same stuff any other Canadian tire has. What’s not to like?

As the name suggests Canadian Tire, it is a locally owned store, excellent customer service, you get all camping items, automobile parts, lightings, furniture, garden supplies, kitchen items.

Was denied entry due to my medical background I was told it was privet property and they were able to do whatever they wanted. Even after I educate him on discrimination and racism I was asked to leave. This was a traumatic experience for me and felt threatened by this security guard I will definitely never return to this location and will not visit any Canadian tire any time soon perhaps entirely.

Terrible service just like all Canadian Tires. This location stood out to me the most when I called the auto department for help. A very rude and grumpy man answered the phone and he didn't seem to want to help me at all. Canadian Tire needs better customer service and training when speaking with customers! Not impressed. They lost a large sale on tires due to this.

Chase and Jarrett in the Auto Department are honestly amazing at their jobs. I came in and dealt with Chase in the morning and he helped me out. Told me what I needed to bring back to the store so he can do his job. When I came back, Chase had gone home and I then had the pleasure of dealing with Jarrett. I filled Jarrett in on the situation and what Chase had told me to do. Jarrett understood and finished the work order that Chase had started for me. First I was extremely happy with the quality of service I received from these two gentlemen and second, I was quite impressed how even having to deal with different employees, they made the process so damn easy and stress free. GIVE THESE TWO EMPLOYEES A SOLID RAISE. I would love to have them help me in the future!

Went to the garden centre. No staff available to help me find what I was looking for. First time gardener so needed assistance. Ended up leaving without any purchases. I deliberately waited till after the long weekend hoping it would be easier to get help. Apparently not.

I love the garden centre here. Its always so lovely and well taken care of, and I was helped by this amazing employee named Claire and she was so helpful and knowledgeable and I cant thank her enough

Feb032021 1300h Their delivery department sucks because of miscommunication with their own third party delivery company. Not worth buying the delivery package ($90). It is just a money grab. Just hire your friends or other people.

The staff here was subpar and the selections were limited a lot of the shelves were empty during my last visit I'll likely never return to this location

I don't get why this branch exists when the products I want are NEVER in stock. You can wait months and they never restock various home inventory or hardware. The Macleod trail store has everything and forces us to drive up which begs, why does this store exist again? It's not even covid's fault because they've been like this for the past 5+ years. Their operations are trash.

One time I went here and needed.the Christmas tree my wife wanted. They had one. A guy working there was a young man. He told me he would find one.
He started talking to a young blonde. Shooting his shot.
Like Reggie Miller vs the Knicks he played his heart out.
I left the store.
Got home.
My wife asked where the tree was.
I forgot because he was so smooth.
I went to a different store and got the tree.
It was okay.
Hope they are married now. Probably are.

Their mechanic shop should be ashamed of themselves. I brought in two knuckles off my Escape to get the bearings pressed out. Guy told me it was $140 a side. That’s more expensive than buying the whole system brand new from Rock Auto. I took it to Jeff @ Shawnee Station Auto, $40 a side. Take your business somewhere else if you want to be charged a fair price. People are really struggling right now (COVID) and do not need mechanics taking advantage of them.

- Retained the car until I pay in full (although I offered to leave a photocopy of my ID).
- After a hard time, a portion was dedicated, but I am still paying more than what I was expecting.

Adhering very well to social distancing rules. Outside line up was long but went quite fast. Lots of stock inside. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Customer service is horrible. Asked a guy for bigger clamps, he replied whatever is on the isle is what we have. After asking again he finally found them for me. Not starting a polemic, but I prefer to buy online as CTire is bad for Customer Service and has highest prices among all Calgary stores.
No wonder Amazon thrives LOL
