Possibly the worst Canadian tire in southern Alberta. The products are decent bang for you buck. However, don’t expect them to have what you’re looking for. Their inventory online never matches in store. (Multiple experiences here like this.) The staff don’t know where anything is or if they have stock. Do not order online as your order will most likely be cancelled. Ordered tires in store for my wife’s car, they forgot to let me know they were done, and lost the purchase order. I had to call back a bunch of times until they realized they had a set of tires with no paperwork waiting for pickup. The tires were also not balanced properly, took them to Canadian tire on McLeod and got them done right. Usually nothing but a let down. Not too bad if you’re going in to browse, but if you’re looking for something specific save yourself the headache and just go to high river or into Calgary.

Lack of staff to help out. And when I found someone she told me the wrong isle. Looked again for someone which took a few min. It's was really nice to see the new set up after renos though!

Great place to find what you need. Make sure you know where whatever you're looking for is, though, because getting an employee that actually wants to help you is like pulling teeth.

This place is an absolute joke. From never having the stock that they claim to online to putting a completely wrong online order in a locker and then making you wait in a long line of paying customers instead of being able to go straight to customer service, like most places, to fix their mistakes. The incompetence is strong at this store.

We bought a toy train to go around our Christmas tree. When we got it home we found that a piece of the track was missing. We also decided that the diameter of the track was too large. As a result we took the train back to the store. Upon talking to the customer service agent, who was very professional and kind. She prefaced our return with "you probably won't like our return policy. " She called the manager to see if there was anything that could be done. We were quite bluntly told that we should have read the fine print on the back of the receipt and that it wasn't the stores problem. Because the box had been opened they could only exchange the product, even though it was defective. We then took the replaced train set and drove 20 minutes down the road where it was returned and our money was given back

Had an item that was purchased for $125.00. The Canadian Tire in another city had it listed for $81.00. I had not had the item for even 7 days and unfortunately they would not refund me the difference.

The "no backpacks" rule is an absolute joke. I came in with my two kids (4 & 1) and my husband to buy some stuff. The security guard stopped me while shopping and told me that I had to put my DIAPER BAG BACKPACK at the front of the store as they're not allowed. Even after I explained what it was, they told me I didn't have a choice. If my diaper bag had been over one shoulder, I would have been able to keep shopping. This store is a joke.

After waiting on the phone for about 25 minutes for service department, I decided to just go in store, it would be faster. I did mention the waiting time to the store manager who felt sorry but she was quick to bring the service manager to help me buy some tires. So long story short, I think both manager were really trying but they are surrounded by staff members who just come in for a pay check. That kid with the goaty at service department can be very arrogant and condescending to say the least. Not being pushy, I left my wheels there so they could mount the tires on but after a week, which I believe is pretty generous, nothing had been done yet. Great store to serve the local community, if you know what you're looking for, just walk in, grab it, pay and go. For any automobile service, even as simple as buying tires, I don't recommend it.

I came in to buy Shear pins and cover for my snowblower and a young man named Jase was very helpful and found them in the warehouse. Thank you Jase for you help when you were busy.

This one is like any other but too small and as a result they are often out of products. The main issue with this store is that there is never enough checkouts open causing frustrating wait times.

I honestly think the place gave me the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I asked 3 different employees for help finding an item that wasn’t on the shelf but said “in stock”

First employee I asked - told me she didn’t have time to help me.
2nd employee was stocking a shelf but she did try to help, told me a general area to go look at.
3rd employee - sent me back to the isle I was already looking in and didn’t actually come with me to see what I was talking about.

Finally I went to customer service and the girl working the desk actually helped me. But my god, it shouldn’t take 4 different employees to get help.

I recently moved to okotoks and have had nothing but wonderful customer service experience.literally EVERYWHERE else I’ve went.

I’ll take the extra time and drive into the city next time.

Once these guys learn how to use their returns system? I’ll probably give them 5 stars. Friendly staff, great stock levels and a great selection. Ample parking and very rarely any large lineups with lots of people working the cash desks. Just don’t plan on getting out quickly if you bring in a return with a lost receipt.

The customer service ladies are always super kind and efficient whenever I visit this location. Always a solid experience.

Really like this store the only drawback is that you have to squeeze past everyone to leave when you didn't buy anything.

Always says things are in stock on line but make a trip into town and it’s no where to be found.this happens all the time!

Abraham was an amazing help. I couldn’t find my product ANYWHERE in the store, the cashiers and customer service weren’t very much help but still friendly. But Abraham went out of his way, out of his department to help, even though he didn’t know where I’d was either. He was a HUGE help and has AMAZING customer service skills! Great addition to this company!

Second time in to get parts for my motorhome. The parts person does not know anything about vehicles and only knows what's on Computer. He doesn't even know what a inline fuel filter is or what an inline fuel pump is. Needed both and he didn't know what I was talking about. Said that he couldn't find them on the computer or a part number so he was lost as to what I needed, or was asking for. When I gave him the engine size he said it took a mechanical fuel pump not an electric fuel pump and that was what he could get.

Lost four wheel studs and lug nuts on the 2 going north, van full of gear and people needing to be on flights out of Calgary. The folks at this location got us in immediately and the service was impeccable. Can’t say enough good things about this spot! Thanks again to their team of mechanics.

Riley help me to find what i need for my car, he’s super nice. Gemma thank you for being patience with me. Awesome staff. I don’t live in town, but for sure I’ll be coming back!

Lots of good deals, we bought engine oil for 45% off. The washrooms are right behind the auto service and locked, customers need to ask for the key. I did not do that as the guy behind the counter did not look like that he is up for any questions or handing over a key. He watched me walking towards the washroom and did not say anything about the key. Cashier was very nice and friendly so I did leave with a good feeling overall

On more than one occasion I find the managerial staff to be rude and unwilling to resolve return issues, even with the original receipt. They simply say no and walk away. Yet ALL other Canadian Tire Stores have no issues with returns. I will not buy from the Okotoks store again, I will drive to Calgary or High River to purchase stuff.

Edited my review to four stars because I've been absolutely loving their in-store pick up service. Great system. Staff are quick to fulfill your orders. Love it.

Despite being a smaller footprint, the store seems to use it efficiently and always stock the items I'm looking up their site ahead of time.

Be wary of the manager of Okotoks if he doesn't like the way you look or doesn't like your " shopping habits " he will phone the police and not just one officer will show up but 4 police cars will and take and slam you off the hood of their car all because the manager didn't like the way you look, I will never ever go back there again.

Canadian Tire is a great store, helpful staff, just about everything you could want to buy and pretty decent prices, you can't go wrong)

Took my car in because one of the tires was losing air. They repaired the tire due to glass, but they did not replace all of the plastic lug covers or the valve stem cap on that tire. After we mentioned it they put a black cap on but it had a green one before. We also noticed the other lug covers were missing from the other tires. We had just filled all tires with air before we went there so we knew they were on but we were told they were missing. Shameful.

One of the last great Canadian tires. They still sell fire arms. They also don't have airport level security like most other Canadian tires in Calgary.

The aggressive salesman outside the store told me that this is the best Canadian Tire in Okotoks. I don't disagree. Moreover, with so few staff roaming the aisles, this place is an introvert's dream come true, unless you need to find where they moved the bicycle helmets.

Not very happy. Purchased a battery charger from the okotoks store today. Price was marked as $55.99. When we got up to the till we were told it was $99~. Even after showing cashier the picture, she said that the price probably fell from the item above. After proving with a picture that would be impossible she just argued that was the price.

Terrible service! My husband and I buy a battery charger. But the charger we like is in the glass cabinet. So we call someone to help us and took 5 minutes to come and help us. When he come he get the battery charger take the yellow tag and said 55.99 then he place the charger in the floor then leave the tag in the cabinet. And he said he will bring the battery charger in the counter. When we went there she's charging us in different price. The girl call the guy.and ask him about the price. That's the time my husband gets mad cause he lied to the girl in the counter that the yellow tag just fell down in the charger. But we have a photo that is really place in the right in front of the battery charger. So my husband just walk away. But I still buy it cause he need it. But it's not our fault if you guy's put the price in the wrong item. We

Great service. Got a chip in my windshield on my way from work yesterday and he got me in first thing today before the chip could spread. Gary's efforts saved me a $1000 to replace my windshield. Thanks Gary.
