Missed out on a battery sale due to a final sale policy. In the middle of a wicked bad coldsnap. Good thing Auto Value doesn't do that.

Friendly service, happy with their amazing timing, how informative they were. Went in for a wheel alignment, very glad with their service. Highly recommend, also the person at the front taking calls and helping customers was stellar! Thank you!

Corporate Return Policy is ridiculous. Returned a product used once and found to be defective, within 30 days with my receipt.

No I don't want an exchange for another product to have the same issue happen again.

Instead of money on my method of payment as shown on my receipt I'm given a gift card. And to top it off I'm told the gift card expires.which is against the law that's been in place since 2008.

The customer service representative was wonderful I do not blame him.

Corporate needs to do better than treat their customers all like thieves.

Don't even bother calling ever single time I call they can never answer the phone or they just put you straight on hold for an hour and usually the phone just hangs up maybe they should hire people to answers there phones if there so busy

Automotive is seriously understaffed. No not a fan of Sylvan store, I use it but it's hard to deal with a mess and low stock.

Was extremely frustrated trying to return a coffee maker that just wouldn't work in my kitchen. Finally had to get the manager to approve a gift card for my return as they only wanted to give me a replacement instead of a refund. Have had similar issues in the past at this South store but never at the North store so will not be shopping at this store in the future.

I like this Canadian Tire location cause it's close, they have everything I need and it's not that big a building you don't have a 6 block walk for a pack of screws

Went to this Canadian tire for a new car battery. They claimed to have installed a battery and charged for it. The next winter the battery was having cold start issues and on inspection we found that it was still the original factory battery in our vehicle. They never did put a new battery.

Found what I was looking for even tho tools seem to get constantly moved from one isle to another to confuse people

Had to pick up an online order, parked in the curb side pick up 4 times and no one answered. Went into Costumer Service and proceeded to stand in line for 45 minutes. There were only 2 people in front of me, and one being helped. The line quickly grew behind me. There were numerous employees walking around and standing looking like they were trying to find something to do. When I asked one of the employees who walked by if they could help me because I was just picking up an online order, she said she did not work in costumer service and when I asked for someone in customer service that could help, she said the other guy was on lunch break. It was 2: 30pm, whatever. I tried phoning the manager when I was in the line up, and I finally got through and the person did not know where the manager was. Maybe having more than 2 people trained in customer service would be helpful.

I am not that happy with Canadian Tire North Store. Their customer bathrooms have been closed for nearly two years now. Walmart across the street has never closed their bathrooms, so that alone makes Walmart a more pleasant place to shop at. Red Deer North is the only store where staff will chase you down aisles to put your mask over your nose, even when no one is around you. Finally, I purchased a chainsaw from the North store this spring. It was very hard to start the first time I used it, however I did get it started and managed on cutting a Spruce Tree with it. Then it sat for a day and the following day I tried to use it and it would not start at all. No big deal, Canadian Tire has a generous return policy. Right? Not the North Store. They made me go to Blades Power Equipment and pay $60 out of my pocket to have the thing inspected. I did that even though I was not happy. Blades took my $60, inspected it and cleaned it up. The chainsaw worked one more time and died and then I chucked it in the garbage. My wife took it out of the garbage an hour later and drove it to Leduc Canadian Tire where they took it back no questions asked. If I go to Canadian Tire at all I either go to Leduc when I am travelling that way, or I go to the Red Deer south store. Otherwise if I am in the North I stick to Rona and Walmart.

I’d give them 0 stars but that doesn’t appear to be an option. Bought a 10 foot charging cable for my phone and it doesn’t actually charge. Returned to the store with my receipt and cable and waited at customer service (I use that term very loosely) for assistance. When I told her the cable didn’t actually work not even a simple “sorry to hear that” just phone number and do you have ID. I have my receipt why do you need ID and my phone number to return it when neither were required to purchase? I complied then she made no attempt to provide me with any record of my return. She just stared at me and said you don’t get your receipt back when you do a return. That is absurd. I didn’t have any other items on it but what if I did, am I not entitled to have the receipt back with the returned item marked accordingly like I get at EVERY other store? I told her I needed some sort of documentation that I’d received a refund and she finally gave me the return receipt. Why would you not offer that in the first place? I see on the return receipt a place to submit a survey and when I enter the code it says invalid so I’m unable to submit feedback that way. I don’t shop at Canadian Tire often but now it’s down to not at all. Very disappointed.

I experienced the worst treatment by the staff on duty including the 2 managers (gentleman and woman). I am referring the branch in the North of Red Deer.

Not accepting of mask exemptions and had two employees refuse me entry. When asked for service at the till, the cashier said she could not serve me without a mask. Overall, my experience was poor and unwelcoming. The manager needs to know that curbside is not an appropriate accommodation for those of us needing immediate service. Will not be supporting this store in the future.

Security guard at the front of store harassing older people who clearly cannot wear a mask.

Personally wore a face covering that was deemed "not a mask" by the same security guard and was denied entry.

Will not be supporting a business that hires wannabe cops to harass the elderly and deny entry to individuals wearing face coverings.

Wish I could give less than 1 star.

Great assistance and service. I have a medical disability and have been given great assistance when i couldnt walk far and forgot to grab a item.

Only 1 cashier, give a 30 percent discount if you want people to buy through self check out. Your company is saving at least that much in overhead

Rude staff, brought it up with management, they do not care one bit, go somewhere else if you want to be treated like a person. Zero stars

I just stopped a Canadian tire North in Red Deer to see if they could put a little air in my bike tires so I could ride halfway across town. They said that they can't. Now, I know that I could go inside and buy a bicycle pump from them, and I have the cash in my pocket to do so; but why would I give them a nickel if they can't even check my tires? It's not like they have a tire shop or anything.

The North store while lacking the size of the South store, still remains a viable option. The North store also features the ability to self checkout and pay using cash, something not available at the much larger South store.

Rude and incompetent auto service

Brought my car to the shop multiple times due to defective parts bought from Canadian tire and the shop refused to fix defect because check engine light was indicating that there's no problem. Absolutely rude and disrespectful when I spoke to them about the issue.

Decent store but too paranoid about theft. Always have to walk you to the till with you item even if it's 5 bucks.relax a little guys

I needed to pickup a few items so thought I would stop at Canadian Tire. When I inquired about where the bathrooms were, I was informed that they were closed and the closest were in Sobey's (about a block away). I brought my items elsewhere. I will not spend money in a store that does not respect it's customers.

So I just came out of this store and was told I am not allowed to shop in there store because I am not able to wear a mask for medical reasons and have a medical note. I wonder how your company feels about a lawsuit for ostracizing me and discriminating against me because I can't wear a mask. Not to mention the emotional trauma you caused me by attacking me in front of a store of customers. You should have asked to speak with me on the side and asked why I wasn't wearing a mask and if you had of asked I would have shown you my note like I have for other stores. I will never be shopping at your stores again.

Went to use curbside pickup because I cannot wear a mask.they would not answer the phone when I was there ready to pick up.so I went into the store and got cussed out by the security guard first.then the girl who was supposed to help me. I said I will be out at the curbside for my product.so far I have waited 10 minutes. EDIT: While I appreciate the response.it will not make a difference. Both Canadian Tire stores in Red Deer have been rude and aggressive to me regarding this issue. Only one other store in Red Deer was like this.and they no longer get my business. Considering how in BC your employees attacked and handcuffed a customer for not wearing a mask.this is systemic in your company. The only reason I bought anything is because I couldn't find it elsewhere in town. Next time Amazon.

The bathrooms were closed. Will not shop there if i can't use the bathroom. If it is because of covid, why is walmarts safeway, costco's all open.

Expect a visit from the police today since your security guard threatened me with a weapon when I tried to enter the store and I am mask exempt. Canadian Tire hires thugs.
