Went to The 36th street one, was a great adventure to street preplanning Christmas gift ideas.

Canadian Tire is a one-stop destination for all my household needs. Their wide range of products, from automotive to home essentials, ensures I can find everything under one roof. The knowledgeable staff and exceptional customer service always leave me satisfied. With their competitive prices and quality offerings, Canadian Tire remains my go-to store for both convenience and reliability.

This is a convenient location but I'll be going elsewhere now that they have started requiring me to wait in line for them to confiscate my backpack, and then wait in line again to get it back. I would rather shop somewhere else and not be treated like a shoplifter every time I need to pick up one item. Will also likely be cancelling my triangle MC.

This is a small store with a selection that is geared more toward home goods. Always clean and well stocked though.

Horrible return policy. I have three items and the receipt.because its over 90days.no credit will be given for the items.exchange only.meaning. 3 items of the same value is what i can do.they wont even let me pick something for the total value of the 3 items.so i have to find 3 items worth the same as each individual item i want to return

Absolutely ridiculous return policy. Im not asking for money.just a store credit to get something else of the same value of the 3 items.

YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUBPAR AND YOU SHOULD BE EMBRACED AT THIS POLICY

Staff in this store are rude. I was told today I'm not welcomed in the store because last time I was there I didn't take off my backpack (which is is their policy?) But when
there are other people in the store with purses and backpacks I feel like I was being singled out because of my disability. Needless to say Canadian Tire has lost my business and anybody that I can dissuade from going there.

This store is my newest addiction! I often go in there for 1 or 2 items and walk out with much more lol. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I have dealt with Ken and Edward quite often for help with products and they always come through. Thanks guys
It is a clean store with tons of products from house plants to tools to seasonal and automotive items. Great addition to the Beltline!

No issues with their policy of no backpacks… but when I return to collect I find it sitting in the open where anyone could have taken it.

I can’t be trusted with my backpack yet they don’t care enough to provide adequate security to keep it safe. Hypocritical.

After I raised this, I just got a sarcastic insincere toned apology from the lady at the front.

Convenient location for downtown/core dwellers. Not an ideal spot to buy a car battery apparently though.

Disgusted. My partner informed me when he came home tonight that he had walked into the store wearing his backpack (as we both have many times to shop here and have never had an issue before) and was PROFILED by the greeter as a shoplifter! The audacity of this 'greeter' who was so overzealous in her job that she proceeded to follow my partner down the aisles for simply having a backpack. When she saw he grabbed the item he stated he was looking for, she turned around and left. You cannot aggressively demand someones property, I understand it's a private premises but as someone who works in marketing, I feel the balance between store security and brand reputation was gravely misjudged.

I find it reprehensible that the front line of your organisation is lacking in basic manners and courtesy to the degree that she has dissuaded two regular customers from shopping here. Please forward this review to head office as she obviously needs some serious and swift customer service training.

Went there to buy winter boots. Got a good offer.
However I didn't like the way products were arranged in the store, it was quite difficult to find something without any salesperson assistance.

Pretty solid Canadian tire, can usually find someone if I need help locating a product or have a question. The Center aisle does get a bit chaotic with the stacks of product deals. I like that dogs can come in the store, especially when it is very hot out. Overall no major complaints.

Time to update as Ken at front reminded me it’s been 4 years since you opened and we found a Can Tire (with bonus UrbanFare,) with our old small town atmosphere, Thanks to Liam as well with care on making keys and congrats! (/and to Randy for great help at Cafe downstairs!

No parking. No parking. No parking. I did curb side pick up, and there is no curbside. Paid parking only, with no note to the customer. Go to a Canadian tire with a parking lot.

The staff never greeted me, i did have to seek out assistance at customer service after waiting around the area I needed help in. However, once I received service it was kind and efficient.

This Canadian tire is new and their staff are extremely friendly and helpful and it is to find stuff

Convenient and easy to navigate. Unsure why so many items are locked in cages, surely there is a better way to organize the store than to put $7 vehicle light bulbs behind locks.

I am not sure whether the 5star reviews are actually true.based on my experience the staff is awful here not everyone though, but those in the paint department! And I wish to give 0 stars
I walked in with the serial number recommended by my landlord only to be turned away stating yeah yeah yeah all the landlord say something but you should go for this base paint. They didn’t make any attempt to Mix the paint.
When I tried searching somebody to have the paint mixed they said they don’t do that but I should go with the regular base paint even though I have the serial number with me.and for the paint to be shaken there was a huge attitude from the department guy.
Not sure if they get paid to stand and gossip at the back of the store when I was seeking help for tens mins with no one in the aisles. All I’m saying is if they hate the job they should quit.customer service is terrible.while I was exiting the store I saw that the same person who was assisting us in the billing was kind sweet with another person who just walked in, very rude to non Canadians I believe I’m just saying why the difference
And don’t even give me the response asking me to give a call to the 1800 number. I’m not wasting time again in your store of your business Will not recommend any of my friends there. #lazystaff fire them

I have visited this store a number of times. Staff is always helpful and friendly, and I am always able to find what I need. I will visit many more times for sure

Just want to shout out to the team at this location this evening, they are clearly understaffed but they were still very helpful and had great attitudes! We live in the neighborhood and will back.

Absolutely disgusted about the no back pack policy. I'm in my 60s and was appalled I was asked to leave my back pack at the front! Horrible policy. My friend who I was with agreed we wouldn't go into a store with this policy. So you lost 2 customers for life
