Staff always helpful and courteous. Selection is good. If you go on line before hand you can see whats in stock and check prices. Ask for victoria if she is at work and if she isnt sure of an item she will find out for you in short order
Such poor service of automotive department of slave lake branch. They charge me $50 just to 3,4 minutes test drive. They even charging tools using to change oil & oil disposal amount from customers. Will never go back to Canadian tire & not recommend their automotive services.
Yeah was in slave picked up a headache rack other few stuff the gentleman in the part's department was very helpful showed us other rack they had in the back, the one's that are in display were outta stock, it's okay if you don't mind waiting service was good, I like that,
2 trips into the store. 7 units of 2-pack lightbulbs in stock (according to the website) that noone could find but there were 3-4 individual bulbs displayed. 2 CS reps, 3 managers, and 4 phone calls. Wouldn't sell the individual bulbs to match the price of a 2 pack. "Sorry, there's nothing we can do. " After 2 weeks, I finally have the headlight bulbs I went in for. What a frustrating experience. Sincerest thanks to Chase, one of the managers, who got the job done. Amazon almost got my money instead.
We chose this location over whitecourts Canadian Tire as the website said you had 14 of a certain air mattress in stock. Which you didn't. We then found an equivalent that showed 73.99 on the shelf tag but rang up 104. When we asked about honouring the price we were told no, that it was for a different one - even though there was 5 of the item on the shelf in that spot. The cashier said "we have a lot of teenagers that do the stocking and mess up". Way to throw other employees under the bus. We asked to speak to a manager and after 10 minutes a young person comes (managers usually have a name tag stating their position or name and he didn't) and says we aren't honouring the price as they were in the wrong spot. I show him the photo I have and he says "the one in the photo is in the right spot but yours wasn't". It was the exact same mattress sitting on the counter. After a discussion about that he says "well we aren't honouring the price they are all in the wrong spot" after just saying the ones that he looked at on the shelf are the correct ones BUT didn't think I had the photo to know which ones. Needless to say we left your store and went to Walmart for the air mattresses.
All team members go above and beyond to help. They great you with a friendly smile and take pride in their stores appearance and community. Always ensuring they are for the customer to give a easy, quick shopping experience.
I enjoyed shopping here. Found out there was a lot more options that I expected considering the size of the town. But I was surprised! Great place to shop for sure!
I brought my 2006 Trailblazer SS for a simple Oil change. I chose Canada's Garage because I thought of know one else and In less than 24 hours, and driven maybe 5km after leaving the shop and my engine starts overheating, the thermostat needle is way over the center and into a dangerous level for the engine. This can cause major malfunctioning inside the engine and cost up to a brand new vehicle. This is a performance vehicle that is tip-top. I was told my blinkers don't work and chunks of metal are in the oil pan, which was a total lie because they were perfectly fine when I left and my previous service from another company would have mentioned chunks of metal as well. I took my vehicle back to Canadian Tire and I hope that it is rectified, this is what I get for trusting Canada's Garage. After receiving my vehicle back, 2 mechanics now say the problem is fixed, and now they can smell coolant in the cab and I might have a possible head gasket leak. Major issue being overlooked because they have caused a head gasket leak, I asked who worked on it, they said one was not here yesterday and could go any further in the conversation to as why it happened. So why did the issue magically appear and magically disappear after Entering and leaving Canada's Garage of Canadian Tire. The mechanics say they did all they could and have no answers for me, "I am as stumped as you are" is what one mechanic said. What part magically left my SS and than was magically returned. Although no racial incident occurred I knew I was going to have an issue with my vehicle because I am an Indigenous male with a rare vehicle, I some how knew I was going to be bringing it back the next day for some other reason after pulling away. Only time will tell if it is fixed. Believe me this town is not that keen with indigenous people, and very racist, yet this town is built on my reservation, awesome job Slave Lake Canadian Tire.
Our local Canadian Tire Store has some incredible finds. Things you cannot easily find in other stores. One of those items is a pizza rocker - knife. It is professional quality at a very reasonable price. I have owned this for some time now. It is just as reliable as the one I used in professional kitchens. Very impressive! I would recommend checking the store for any specialty items. It also comes with a protective sleeve.
Super long lineups at the one till thats open which is the customer service, it's almost like they don't care how long a person has to wait to get their purchase. It's like that everytime I go in there. Other than that I like this place, the floor staff are helpful and it has just about anything you could ask for.
Unbelievably poor phone service. If I hadn't just gone through the store phone menu, I'd have thought I'd called someone's house and woken her. There was no interest in finding the information I asked for. I finally asked to speak to store manager, and suddenly her phone didn't work anymore.
Have had nothing but great experiences in this outlet in particular and the staff have always been helpful. I've been coming to this Canadian Tire for over 10 years and am never disappointed or left wanting. I sometimes go in looking for a particular idea but staff change that idea from discussing my needs. Their sports department is fully loaded from guns/ammo to camping supplies. A fantastic garden center on par with some greenhouses in the city. Whether you come for nuts and bolts, screwdriver or coffee and soda, cleaning supplies or electrical equipment you will find it. "There is a lot more to Canadian Tire than tires"
Canadian Tire Slave Lake has the worst service I have ever experienced in any Canadian Tire Store I have been to. We purchased a bike for $600 brought it home and gears wont shift. Manager was very rude and refused to even consider an exchange. Offered a repair on a brand new bike that hasn't been ridden 500 feet. Anything brand new should not need to be repaired. I will never visit that store again. I suggest people go elsewhere for their needs. Or make sure their items are in working condition before they leave the store because she said since the bike left the store an exchange or refund will not be considered.
I had a great experience at this store yesterday! I wanted to buy a kayak, but I'm totally inexperienced and I had no idea how to properly load it onto my roof rack. The lady at the front, Barb, was so kind and helpful! She went and found another employee, Peter, who is one amazing person! He went out to my suv to examine and decide what was needed, and he then picked out exactly what would work, even finding me a good deal at the same time! He then headed out to show me how to properly tie the kayak onto my roof rack. Another employee, Aiden, was also very helpful with this part. Both men ensured all the straps were secure and tight, and Peter even made sure I knew how to release the straps before I left the parking lot. I'm so thankful for their kindness yesterday! This store is awesome. Thank you for making this purchase an enjoyable experience!:) :)
Had a mud flap put back on and fuel tank alligator clamps wired back together! He put a fuse connector on that I did not want! Husband told him to take it off, put mud flap on with no washers! Very slow service! Charged me $152.00! So very disappointing! Should have waited to go back to Rocky for service!
Lol. Another sale day for some things that I need. Always a bonus when I can save. Only thing is, the staff were kinda slow with their help today. Not the usual thing
Soooooo much toys that any woodworker or carpenter would want or need. Staff are always there to help and they have options for builders on a budget. There is always a sale happening as well. This is my favorite store in Slave Lake.
Booked an out of province inspection and was givin the wrong paper work to register my truck in Alberta, which lead to me to having to book yet another out of province and a complete waste of money, time and not to mention the headache. I would recommend another mechanic shop
Usual reliable good Canadian Tire standards but big call out especially for the young lady with a head wrap on customer service and the gentleman on automotive. Both so patient in the face of queues outside their control, never losing genuine smiles whilst keeping calm and professional. Ty!
Very very disappointed. Went to pick up my 5 year old daughters bike yesterday (after being 2 days late in building it). I came home to loose bolts, flat tires, handle bars are not align with tires. My daughter was so upset to know she still cant ride her new bike. Never again will I buy anything for my kids there, EVER!
Towed my vehicle there and was told twice that it was being fixed when it was still outside in the parking lot. Talked to over 5 people and no one knows anything about what's going on just kept getting told call back later. Never again will I deal with them. They cant even give me a proper estimate on repair.
