Canadian Tire

I had to ask for help finding wood pellets twice and both sent me in opposite directions and neither direction took me to what I was asking for. Found them by going through almost the whole store.

I travelled to Alberta this summer, in one of the hot spells. My wiper blades started squeaking across the window. Reliable wipers are important to me, so I stopped into Whitecourt Canadian Tire. Unsure of the better of two I chose I asked a customer service associate, Sandra. She looked at both, compared and advised me of the ones she herself she asked another associate for his perspective, Donovan. They were happy to assist, cheerful and made my decision easier.

I bought my daughter a bike and at the time I didn't see any signs saying you can return them her father had already bought her bike so being a woman with little income I went to return that bike and they told me there was nothing they could do I did it because I wanted my daughter to blend in I wanted my daughter to have something and be able to go bike riding with her friends not sure he has a bike now I have a bike that's completely useless to me and the only reason they wouldn't take it back is because there was dirt on the tires wash them I Got Dirt on the tires by Rolling it from the back to the front I returned a bike there a year and a half ago no problems the tags are still on it it's in good shape it doesn't have any scratches there was some grass on the tire and that was it severely disappointed with Canadian Tire with the amount of money that they charge for their items and the amount of money that I have put into that place where's the customer appreciation

For the most part staff is helpful. I have sourced parts there in stock that surprised me as I couldn't get anywhere else without ordering. The garden center is well equipped as is the sporting goods center.

Just had the best experience getting two tires balanced. I was taken care of in between other jobs, so didn't have to wait more than a few minutes. To top it all off they barely charged me anything. Very impressive effort!

Customer Service here is always amazing from the girls at the till to the men sharpening your skates, those working on the floor stocking shelves and the staff helping you in the automotive department.
Great place to get so many items on your shopping list fulfilled. Their decorations are pretty impressive as well and one of the best places to shop for the kids on your list.
Tools, household items, sport supplies, paint products, camping fishing, even winter wear can be found here and then head to the ilses with all the gift wrapping and maybe grab a few gift cards. Pretty soon your well onto your way with your shopping done.

Great store to find you’re needs house goods car goods camping goods etc not to mention the staff that works here friendly and helpful

Good selection. Mostly helpful and friendly. Might have caught the one associate on a bad day but the sighs and eye rolls when asking for help was not required.

I love Canadian Tire! Could you please hire some cashiers that actually smile, everytime I check out it's depressing. I have a great experience in the store up until that point. I feel like I'm annoying the cashier for making a purchase.

Love Canadian Tire for their selection of everything from toiletries to automotive and everything in between.

Staff are rude and ignorant when you can actually find them. Staff never seem to be around to help find anything in the store. Youre better ordering on line for pick up then you are attempting to find a staff member.

They didn't have what I needed in stock but had very helpful and friendly staff at both Telus and relcomm

Have gone here a few times now. One cashier lady was really nice. But all other experiences I have had are bad, walked through a cleaned floor area to go get an item and I hear the employee say he is f#@king done because everyone keeps walking though his little mopped area. The place doesn't have a warm feeling with the employees

Ordered an item online for in-store pickup at 10am. Was supposed to be ready by 2: 30, we arrived at 4pm and it was still not ready. Went to the aisle the website claimed it was on and couldn’t find it there either. We drove out of the way to come to Whitecourt to pickup this item, huge waste of time! They also don’t follow Alberta Covid protocols, half of the store was unmasked and to exit the store you must wait in line or walk through the checkout lineup. Very disappointed in this Canadian tire.

Canaduan Tire stores are fairly similar. The distinction is in their staff and cashiers. The floor staff are pleasant and helpful. Some cashiers at this store are in the wrong job.

Poorly ran location. Always a big lne with one cashier open. Auto staff has no idea what they're doing. Bathrooms are disgusting and the store overall is pretty dirty. Home hardware might be a little more pricey but worth it for the customer service and clean store.

Worked there for a year. Watched 9 year old hulk Hogan and optimus prime beat the snot out of eachother with foam baseball bats during my Halloween shift. 10/10 would go for the entertainment alone

Staff around when you need them, which was noticeable since the lifting of the mask mandate, as most stores feel like they are understaffed, even with far less shoppers. Good selection of products, likely the largest selection in town. Nice to see they do hire all ages and not just younger people.

Not bad to say about Canadian tire as a franchise, however, this store in particular was satisfactory until recently. I purchased a hammer, full price, 2 days later the hammer went on sale. 5 days later I noticed the sale (now 7 days from my original purchase) and ask for a price adjustment. They refused and told me I only had 2 days. I can find no evidence of this policy in any Canadian tire website, in fact, I found that I could have returned original hammer and purchased on sale hammer after waiting much longer than 7 days if I had wanted. So I don't understand how this scenario makes any sense.

Terrible terrible terrible customer service. Had my vehicle booked in to get new tires. I had the appointment booked for over a week, had to be late for work in order to drop my car off, get a call 1/2 an hour later from them saying they don’t have the tires anymore. They quoted me a certain price and they said they can’t do anything about it.they can never take responsibility for their mistakes or offer anything to anyone. I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere. Not the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. Will be going elsewhere!

The store was great.
I had gotten 2 keys made at the auto department.
I did not like the fact I could not pay for my keys at that till.
I had the go to the front of the store to pay.
I kid you not it took over 20 minutes to get checked out.
The staff was great. 2 till's were open.
The line was really, really long.
The store was clean and the staff did a great job.

Great selection there can be real good deals on items at times. The parts department for Automotive is terrible they never have what you need in stock. It has to be paid for up front & can take up too a week for a part to come in. There getting to be more expensive than other stores as well. I always end up ordering parts from a different place due to better prices, same day delivery's if you contact them when they open or next day delivery is available 98% of the time. Canadian tire used to have good prices 20 year's ago but now they have higher prices and alot of piss poor quality parts. The staff wouldn't know a serpentine belt from a muffler if it wasn't for the computer for the most part. If I'm shopping here it's for other items in the store on sale or just something a person needs.

I when in that place today to find out for all my specifications for the vehicle for fluid i can put in it but whatever the woman work in the part conter she uz not in ur moon today i add to look online in my phone to find it been couple i when and peapol r always madd bad place to go

Great place, decent selection and good people. I always stop at the canadain tire when I'm in whitecourt.

The place was extremely busy but I needed help finding a product. I was able to track down probably the nicest young man I have seen in a long time. He said my product is in the back and it is the last one I will run and get it for you. It was larger box so he took it to the till and carried it out to the car for me.

Worst experience ever. Called ahead to buy tires and have them installed as well as get a wheel alignment. Wanted to make sure everything was in stock because I live an hour away. When I arrived at the scheduled time, I was informed that they couldn’t find the tires. But they would start with the alignment and let me know ASAP if they had the tires. I said I would pick different ones if I had too. After 1 hour of waiting I approached them and asked about the tires. “Oh ya, we don’t have them” I was told. It took almost an hour to find another comparable tire at about $400 extra. The manager offered $100 off. Fast forward 1 hour and I approached them again to see if it was almost done. I was then informed that they were about to do the wheel alignment. So 4.5 hours later and $300 extra I’m on my way with tires I didn’t even want. What a gong show.

Well I had went to buy some electrical connectors and stuff! I returned an item then bought a different one just a bit cheaper anyway upon leaving I get held up at the cashier an employee says someone told him he seen me stick something in my hoodie! Well I put my hands straight up and allowed him to search my hoodie pocket. There was nothing there. I asked if I am free to go he said you bet.

Big store lots of selections & reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and located right off highway 43, east access.

Worst customer service in auto service my car was their since 26 sept but they don't even what problem just increasing my bill not fixing any thing.worst and disaster service

Only place you can buy an Alien vs Predator statue made by local welder. Great service, staff are friendly. Good Canadian Tire to shop at.

Beautiful store. Lots of staffs to help you out. You can pretty much find anything there and can't beat that deal. Although be careful when returning something. They do have a bunch of policies and they do not guarantee product satisfaction.

Ordered the wrong part for our car so we have to wait another week just to get the right part in. Other than that, the hot chocolate was pretty good.

Canadian Tire is usually a good choice in Whitecourt. The store is well organized and Nice people work there.

Due to living in a somewhat small town with limited selection of stores, we frequently visit this store. On multiple occasions we have bought items from here that were either used and returned or opened and taped shut being sold as new products at retail price. 1 item was a chainsaw sharpener that had dirt and trees stuck in the sharpened. Another being a bag of grass seed that was taped closed after seed had been spilled from the bag. Both items had been packaged back up as if to hide the fact that they had been previously used or damaged. Not a happy customer.

I found everything in the Whitecourt Canadian tire but was unable to purchase at the time, next day went to Grande Prairie to purchase a couple of items and they had neither of them.

The store was clean and well organized. The employees were also knowledgeable and helpful in locating parts and tools.

At the bottom of the hill on hwy 43. Lots of parking. Good sales and variety. Staff are friendly.

Very friendly staff. They need a bigger holding tank for their water refill station. The last two visits they were completely out of water ️
