Canadian Tire

From a family of mechanics who don't have winter facilities or not owned vehicle for work to be done on. Instead of just replacing brakes, did rotor and breaks. Windshield wipers would not shut off so said motor need replace when argued we said just multifunction unit he walked away, later said both.need replace. We Ultimately purchased multifunction unit ourselves and replaced, works great. They maybe cheaper shop rate but ultimately cost more as replace things that don't need changing.

Well to be frank this was by far the best experience I've had at this store solely because of one individual, Joey. I came to the store because I seen a fish finder that was on clearance, only one in stock. So my hopes of them actually having it was low. Luckily I had the pleasure of Joey asking me if I could use some help so sure enough I asked him if he could help me find this fish finder. After the first 15 minutes of him searching my hopes dropped to zero but he insisted he'd keep looking for me. After 45 minutes he managed to bring the box out.
Thanks again Joey, this fish finder works great!

Ordered a bike for our Granddaughter on the app and the team at Canadian Tire got it ready. We were notified by email that it was ready. We went to pick it up and were greated by very friendly and helpful staff. It was a very pleasant experience.

Could not get what I needed.
Had to take a chance.
And the journey was long and slow.

Canadian tire always a favorite, but this Canadian tire has it all, great atmosphere and friendly, very helpful

I am not a resident of Athabasca but I was able to experience an excellent customer service from this branch. I walked in at the store when i had an unrepairable flat tire. Unfortunately the required tire for my car isn’t available however i was so impressed with the way Christina, Trevor and Jeff looked after my concern and have given me assistance just to continue on with my trip. For me going above and beyond is the essence of excellent customer service which they have shown me. It truly made my day. Thank you very much for the help you guys have extended during that day. Keep up the good work and more power

Bought a bike for my son yesterday. Completely broken in the box.
Last month I tried to online order cleats for my daughter and was sent the wrong size.

I had gone in early morning to get a new tag since mine was destroyed. The lady was so sweet, I had bought my previous license before I was 18 so when they went to replace the tag it was very difficult as she could not see it on the computer. She was on the phone with many different people trying to replace my tag. After an hour of speaking to multiple people and trying many things we got it to work. I then shot my first whitetail buck with this tag and I cannot be more grateful for her efforts and patience. I never got her name but I am forever thankful to her

Was booked for minor repair in Athabasca yesterday. I asked check noise under hood.idler pulley!
The sincerity of mechanic and counter personnel, outstanding.
Went out of their way to figure out how to fix car as fast as possible and exhaused all possiblities of helping me get back home to ft mcmurray. Great estimates, prices, attitudes. Love coming here!

It’s a typical small town Canadian tire, has most of you need for home and car care, parts dept is decent.

Seriously my wife wont let me go here alone. I always leave with no money in my account and "unnecessary purchases"

Pretty big store and very well stocked, just seems to be quite understaffed at times. The staff they do have are great to deal with and really helpful

Ran in to grab some pet supplies whilst visiting the Athabasca area to rescue a dog. Whilst much smaller than the typical Canadian tire it had all of the essentials for a small town.

Love Canadian Tire and this location is as good as any. It looks like this location could use some more floor space. The shelving is high leaving many items out of reach. At over six feet tall I could not reach a couple items on my list. Thankfully the staff are amazing and offer quick service.

Horrible service. No one seems to pick the phone no matter where you call and the hours of operations are really short compared to any other Canadian tire. However staff are friendly when you do go to the store.

Athabasca is in the middle of the worst Covid outbreak in the province so I thought I would use curbside to avoid going in the store. Noone answered the phone when I called and I tried 4 times. When I finally went in the store, the hand sanitizer was empty.

My order was large and had to come on a flat bed cart (again one of the reasons I wanted curbside). So I ended up hauling it out. One kind employee offered to help me but at this point I just wanted out.

Not going to order from there again. Make the drive to St Albert and save the trouble. Customer Service here is non-existent

A small rural Canadian Tire store. I always wait for the items that I need to go on sale then I buy it online and it is ready for me to pick up at the store so easy to doHelpful staff. Clean public washrooms. Free WiFi.

Horrible front desk service - grumpy and out of line (we were not even at the front desk, just walking by). This our 'to-go-to' place for odds and ends at home or while travelling. This is our first time at this location (Athabasca) and it is also our last time. We'll make the drive into Ft. Sask instead.

By far the best Canadian Tire I've been to always good sales and always find what you're looking

Terrible experience with mechanic department. Very poor service.

The air conditioning in my minivan stopped working so I brought it in to Athabasca canadian tire service dept. They told me that one of the hoses was leaking and needed to be replaced and it would cost about $500. I told them to go ahead and repair it. 3 days later the air conditioning stopped working again. I brought it in again and they informed me that a different hose was leaking and needed to be replaced. It would cost $600. I told them to go ahead and fix it. A couple days later, the air conditioning stopped working again.

I called them to ask what was going on they said that if there was something wrong with the work that they did, that they would fix it, but other than that I would have to bring it in and they would look at it again. So I booked an appointment and brought it in a third time. I dropped it off on Tuesday morning, and by Friday had not heard anything from the shop. I called several times on Friday morning, left a message to call me back but no one did. I stopped in at the store on Sunday afternoon and was told that yet another different hose was also leaking, but that they could not get that part through their regular supplier. I was also told that it would cost about $1600 to replace that hose.

I find it very hard to believe that 3 separate hoses all went at the exact same time, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and lets say that 3 hoses did in fact all leak. If that is the case, I find it very frustrating that they didn't do a thorough enough job of checking the system to make sure they found all the leaks prior to fixing the first hose. I was willing to pay $500 to have the AC fixed, but if I would have known that it would cost $2700, I wouldn't have bothered as the van is probably only worth $6000. Now I've sunk $1100 into, I'm no better off than what I was in the first place and now need to decide if I sink more money into it, or walk away from the money that i've already paid.

On top of that, to not call the customer for 5 days, and not return my calls and messages is just poor customer service.

Pretty good store with a good selection for a small town. They brought me in some filters and called me when they arrived so I give them a good review because so many places don't communicate well.

Ordered an item from this store online and drove over an hour to go get it. When we got there we were I formed that they only had one of the items in stock. Every time we have shopped here it has been a mess, not shopping here again.

For certain do not purchase anything unless it is on sale because it will definitely go on sale.

Store well laid out. Clean and neat. Shelfs are stocked. Staff friendly and courteous. Thank you
