Canadian Western Bank

This is a bank you have to dealt with it very carefully. I have a very weird banking experience with this bank. I am going to report it with all material to be prepared.

Dealing with Canadian Western Trust is painful. It has taken months and two in person visits and countless phone calls for one transaction; which after 3 months is still not finalized

Not competitive with rates, still charge for e-transfers which are free at most (if not all) other banks. Terrible at returning calls.

What a bunch of…. Special people they’ve got working there. Come in with a 3000 cheque but they only cash $2999.99. Charge $15 but don’t take debit at the branch? Don’t take debit? Serious? Never go here.

The email address you list for the branch on your website, doesnt accept emails and bounces them back saying its " restricted". Major FAIL.

Absolutely the worst bank! I recommend not to waste time opening accounts. No freedom what so ever.
