Cancare Childcare - Scenic Acres Centre

Our family loves CanCare. Our son absolutely thrives at daycare and is consistently showing us all the new things he learned. The staff are so patient, kind and loving towards our boy and even though our son has moved rooms while being there (due to age) the previous ladies always say hi and check in frequently.

Amandeep (head of daycare) is very lovely, has always made us feel heard and very solution orientated. We had some concerns with our sons transition into his new room and she made time within the hour to discuss.

Can’t recommend this daycare enough, we love the ladies and always feel so secure leaving our son with them!

My kids go to this centre since 2021. I absolutely love this place. It’s a little far from my home, still I send my kids there. The staff are very nice and friendly. I never worry about my children as long as they stay in CanCare:).

My two kids (ages 2 and 4) have been attending this daycare for almost a year and it’s been very positive overall - Good structure, reasonable sick policies, affordable and competitive fees, great extended hours… but the highlight is the caregivers - all invested, communicative, patient, and loving.

Have had a great experience with both my children here. The caregivers are kind and do a lot of work with the kids. The hours are great and work well for busy families.

I’m so happy sending our one year old there as the staff tried really hard to make him adjust, I can tell the teachers genuinely like the kids from the way they interact with the parents and babies. Amandeep has amazing leadership and responsibilities, we were just amazed that she remembers the names of the kids when giving us the first tour! We are beyond thankful to find such an amazing team, will be sending our little boy here as long as we possibly can!

Cannocaremore horrible place. They don't care about your child's safety and development. No recommend it.

I feel very lucky to find a daycare with facilities that are so clean and well maintained. My son has been with Cancare since he was two years old. He is always very happy to go to daycare. The staff are caring and treat the children like family. Cancare provides excellent structure and programming, a lots of age appropriate activities for the children to do. The management always provides a fast response whenever I ask anything about my son. I would happily recommend Cancare to look after your little ones, mine is happy every day.

My son has been going to this daycare for over 3 years and I am very happy with this place. The center is always clean and organized and the rooms have a lot of natural light which is very important to me. When I first met the director I was impressed, she was professional and answered all my questions and since then every time I have approached her she has been courteous and responded to my child's needs immediately. The staff are the best part of this place, they have cared for my son like a family member would have. The people they hire are kind, caring and go above and beyond for the children. They know each child by name and care for them as individuals rather than just another number. The food is also freshly prepared *from scratch* each day. I could see the lady in the kitchen making the food everyday, there is nothing processed or brought in from somewhere else here. Is it the fanciest daycare with the latest smart technology, fancy gym instructors and flashy toys? No, and it doesn't matter to me because the people I am leaving my son with are taking the best care of him possible and I can go to work with a clear mind knowing that he is well taken care of. Would totally recommend this place to any friend or family member.

The facility is clean and well maintained. Staff are top notch and friendly to all. They do regular developmental screens on the kids. There is a yearly holiday concert which is fabulous, brings together all families that goto Cancare.

I’ve been taking my daughter to this daycare for over a year now, and we both absolutely love it, it’s a safe place for your children The staff are super friendly and are quick to address any issues you might have. For example; If my daughter is having a bad morning (which everyone has once in awhile) they wont rest until she feels better, extra hugs and love every time this happens They celebrate all Holidays which your welcome to bring in peanut free snacks on these days, the weekly menu is pretty good and they teach your children new songs, counting, ABC’s etc and let’s face it, with families having busy schedules these days we don’t have time to teach our kids this stuff. All in all I would recommend (and do) this daycare to anyone

My children have been at Cancare for an extended period of time and I have always felt that the staff have put the children first. I feel that my children are safe and that I am advised of their progress and any concerns that may arise. The caregivers are kind and know all the children and their families by name. The facility tries to engage the children and families and has events that are beneficial to make you feel comfortable with the facility. The facility respects access Orders which is essential and not universal to all childcare facilities. The drivers are prompt with pick-up and drop-off and making sure the children get to and from school safely. The facility does engaging field trips and is a toned to each child's needs. The facility has excellent hours of operation and my children enjoy their time there.

Sent my son to this location for over 5 months already. Teachers are very caring and welcoming and knows what is going on with my son whenever I have a quesiton. My son seems like the food there and he learnt quite some new tunes from the class. I'm very happy with Cancare Scenic Acres:)

Great place for kids to grow and socialize! The staff are amazing and profesional! Very flexible team with good understanding! They have a lots of sctivities during the day and an oriented routine! My kids are happy to be there!

Everyone is so welcoming and understanding at Cancare. I appreciate all they do for my son. Amandeep has ALWAYS been so easy to talk to.

My daughter really likes her day care. She is pretty happy to go to school every morning, and happy talking with us about her good friends and teachers at school every day. We are very happy about that. When she came to Cancare at around three, she did not know one English word and had not left her mom for even one day. We appreciate the teachers' great patience to help her get comfortable with school. After several months at school, she can chat with us in English and tell English story fluently now.

I feel so fortunate to have found Cancare childcare for my son. He is going there for a long time now. Staffs are very caring and humble. They provide variety of healthy foods which my son really likes.

Cancare? More like can’t care less. This really is a place to dump your kids, that’s all.

Complacent, dirty, an air of apathy around the care of the children or giving the parents any kind of update, we got zero information on my child’s progress or learning. Not to mention taking extensive amounts of time off work to care for my child due to them being sick on average once a week.

As far as meals go your child better like carbs as that is all that’s on the menu, and the lack of attention to detail is staggering, every day I'd find a bump, scratch or bite with no incident report to document this, absolutely shameful.

Do not recommend.

We were extremely disappointed with this daycare and had to leave. The place is dirty, the kids are always sick and injured, non-nutritional food, the staff are always out of ratio and classes are an absolute zoo. I never had any idea what my child did or learnt and when I asked, nobody knew. We are now trying to undo all of the bad habits that my child learnt from this place. Think twice before enrolling your little one!

My grand daughter is going to this day care and we've seen her blossom under their care. They are very careful in creating a loving environment for the children with a great structure and routine, with lots of learning through play.

My children and I have had a great experience with Cancare. The teachers have been amazing with the kids and provide enough details about their day to show that they actually care. My kids and I are always happy about the amount of indoor and outdoor activities that are planned each week. Also the daycare provides transportation to and from school which is a huge benefit. The clean environment and moderate routine just add to my peace of mind in having my kids here.

Cancare is run by an extremely kind and compassionate management team who work in the best interest of the children. My daughter was happy and safe during her time there. She built great relationships and was always engaged in meaningful activity that encouraged learning and development. I would definitely recommend Cancare to any parent.

We have had our two kids at Cancare Childcare Center for over last eight years. During this time, we had absolutely positive experience as whole. This particularly goes to caring staff and teachers. Our kids never had any unwanted accident and we were notified if anything had happened to them. Teachers also give feedback on kids development in timely manner. There was always something interesting for kids to look forward when they want to leave home to daycare. The place itself enjoys clean rooms full of gadgets for activities. It also has very nice backyard playground where kids enjoy outdoor play.
The management has changed throughout these years; however, the quality of service improved each time.

My son attends the day care. I am very impressed with their services and delivery of care towards the children. The teachers are very caring and patient. My son is very happy attending the day care.

We love Cancare. We have had three boys (11,8 and 3) attend this wonderful gem of a Childcare Centre, with our youngest still there. The staff know all of the kids in the Centre. Over the eight years as clients, we have seen little staff turnover (and we still encounter retired staff locally who ask about our boys). Our two oldest were relatively easy kids, but our third child is quite "spirited". Cancare worked with us and the growth in our child has been amazing. All of our kids rave about the "banana loaf" and they all love the playground and teachers. Top all of that off with good managers and bus service provided to local schools - we feel exceptionally lucky to have access to the Cancare Child Centre in the NW.

My daughter loves this place, friendly staff and great teachers, she learned lot from amazing teacher, I would definitely recommend to anyone for there children
