Canmore Park

Great place to visit and if you are in, cross country at a CBE school you have probably be here before amazing trees in the fall car high recommend.if You want some photos and videos go here and enjoy your time

Nice spot for a run. Good place for kids in the summer to stay cool. New pump track for BMX bikes and scooters.

Nice quiet park with a row of large mature oak trees lining the road. Would be great if they replaced confederation golf course next door with park/amenities/general recreational space and a little bit more housing, that way they could connect this West Confederation Park with the main confederation park and provide more housing. We already have too many golf courses in the city. Would benefit all communities in the area.

Addition of bike park this summer, fantastic area to enjoy the outdoors. Construction appears half complete- looks to be done by the end of season.

Two sides to every park, this location also is great for family friendly outings with connections to many bike and pathways. Do you know? Calgary contains some of the largest bike and pathway systems in North America. Measured by metropolitan communities. This is a wonderful place within our own backyard with short seasons available, I recommend checking these bike and pathways out before our season comes to an end. Another known fact Calgary has the opportunity to see snow every month of the year. Check the records July 15,1999. One snowy summer afternoon.

It's a large suburban park surrounded by houses. No body of water but some sparse trees. Nothing unique within the park to look at. It's just large a field

Close to the golf course and residential area, this is a nice place for leisurely walk, or running around.

Always lovely to go for a run here. It's like you're in the wilderness but in the middle of a city

Gorgeous gem in the city! Perfect climbing trees for kids and some hidden tree forts. Free parking.

Kids plash park here is great! Our favourite location for hot summer nights. There is a washroom, but pack a lunch otherwise you will have to drive to get something. Also bring shade!

This place is filled to the brim with nature! The plants are breathtaking. Really a nice place for a picnic.

Nice little spray park where children can have lots of fun. There are washrooms and grass spots to set up your picnic blanket. It gets pretty busy in hot Summer days and the parking lot is not that big but there's extra parking on the street.

Clean and quiet, well groomed and herbicide free area. Paved walking path and lots of grassy areas to have a seat or a pick-nick

Great splash pad for kids of all ages. Lots of green space and shade (from trees and a shelter). Nice public washrooms as well.

Beautiful, expansive green space with trees to climb, space for dogs to chase a ball, and bike paths. The park is fairly hilly but there's a flat section where we kicked the ball around too. The splash park here is so fun - check it's reviews for specifics.

What you will love about this place.it has a fence! No really, it keeps your kids contained and it's easier to keep track of them. There are shaded areas around under trees, nice grass space, tables, bathrooms, outdoor showers, and a variety of spray attractions that you can spend an entire afternoon with occupied kids. There is decent parking and they have maintained a beautifully landscaped park.

Awesome splash park (has washrooms which is always clean) and tennis court for public use. Has access to bike paths connecting to Confederation park.
Only thing missing is a playground area and it would be perfect!
It's also not crowded so definitely a plus!

In my opinion Canmore park is a highly underrated park. Nice place close to the city to take your dog for a walk, play tennis, play yard games like bocce ball, or go to the waterpark. It's pretty hilly so it's a nice place to run to increase your endurance on hills.

Great park that anyone can enjoy, could be a very inviting for a low budget family day. The ambiance of this park isn't overbearing at all, just a very nice and calm feeling every time I'm there. Personally like to go to the parking lot after grabbing something to eat and just enjoy the moment.
