Canmore Rocky Mountain Inn

Really enjoyed our stay. Room was nice and clean. Staff were exceptionally friendly. The lobby with crackling fire and games was a great way to relax and we also enjoyed the sauna. The optional breakfast to go as amazing value. I'd go back!

This is a cute mountain lodge in a nice town. The view is nice and it's a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast is not free but offers free hot beverages. Nobody cleans the rooms or picks up the trash.

It was a good price and location, the fireplace and lounge area are very nice, the staff were helpful and solved issues quickly.

What is advertised is not what you get. Cons: Lack of windows so you felt like you were staying in a box, no balcony, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, "mountain view" was not much of a view, because of the main entrance being under construction - a lot of people were trying to access through our "balcony" door.
Pros: having a full kitchen, the jacuzzi tub was massive, and everything is accessible by a 20 minute walk.

The best place to stay in Canmore! Large rooms, with a beautiful view, comfortable and clean.

We stayed here for a week and it was wonderfull! The lobby is so cozy, the service was very friendly, we could enjoy a glass of wine near the fireplace and we used the bikes (that you can rent for free) almost every day. Would 100% recommend!

It’s a lovely place to stay providing easy access to the the beautiful down town and highway.
The staff are friendly and helpful and made the stay all the more enjoyable.
A gorgeous homely reception area, a roaring fire, cheese and wine with games to play if you’re fancy.
Would recommend a stay here. You have access to a pool and gym and discounts at a local breakfast place.

I love the lobby which was so cozy to spend the time. Some games were available in the lobby too!
It is ok to stay for one day i think!
Also they put some fruit in the lobby which was a good idea

The place is clean lobby has cool stuff games to play while hanging out in the lobby while enjoying their an hr complimentary wine night for free their staff are so nice approachable and resourceful and they have a free bike if you wanna bike around see the beautiful mountains around and they have sauna too quite place to relax on your vacation

Decent hotel with beautiful views of the mountains just outside. Location was close to everything you need; you can either drive or walk short distances to the grocery store, Shoppers Drug Mart, gas stations and the ski village of Canmore which includes tons of restaurants and little shops. About a 20 min drive to Banff and about 30 mins to Lake Louise. Our room was clean and well stocked and the staff were always very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we didn’t get to participate in their complimentary wine nights during our stay but we did order breakfast for 1 morning and for $5, it was so worth it: we got yogurt/granola, fruit, banana bread, croissant and juice. They also have complimentary coffee/tea/water and fruit 24/7 in their lobby. Plenty of parking and they also have free bike rentals for you to borrow to explore the town of Canmore!

We stayed here during the Melissa's Road Race weekend. It was a great location- close to Banff without paying Banff prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were very basic but we only slept there anyway. They offered a to-go breakfast for $5. It included orange juice, an apple, fresh banana bread, a croissant and some yogurt with a scoop of granola. There was also free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate in the lobby. We saw signs for wine and cheese but didn't take advantage of that.
Our room adjoined with the one next to ours. It was nice as we had friends staying beside us!

Disappointed by many small issues and a couple bigger ones.

Definitely not a great choice for the mobility challenges unless you get a designated disability room, and even then good luck parking as there are only 2 handicapped parking spots.

Lock on bathroom door was installed backwards. It still functions but not properly.

Main door lock non-functional, but at least the deadbolt worked.

Lumpy pillow top section of the mattress (I was able to flatten it mostly)

Toilet kept running on and on, we had to juggle the flush knob after the tank was half full of water - each time.

Tub faucet drips 24/7.

TV didn't work properly.

Management vaped right at the front doors (sheepishly trying to hide the fact the whole time).

The staff were friendly and helpful. Adult cruiser bikes available to use. Nice lobby/seating area to meet people.

Je ne suis pas critique d'habitude, mais là je dois bien avouer que j'ai été un peut déçue.j'ai réservé une chambre a environ 245$. Premièrement, je n'ai pas trop apprécié la personne a l'accueil, je lui ai précisé que j'étais étrangère pour lui faire comprendre que je parle anglais, mais qu'il était limité, ça n'a pas eu l'air de la perturber et a continuer à me parler vite donc j'ai eu du mal a comprendre.au prix de la chambre ne pas avoir de petit déjeuner inclus je ne trouve pas ça normal.alors oui nous sommes a Canmore mais quand même! J'avais prit une chambre avec cheminée, cette dernière ne fonctionnait pas.après la chambre en elle même était très correct! Avec les produits nécessaires. Mais par contre.pareil pour ce prix! Entendre les gens marcher dans le couloir et pire! Les gens du dessus avec le sol qui grince! Mais s'ils vous plaît faites des améliorations à votre bâtiment! Payer une chambre si chère et ne pas avoir un minimum d'insonorisation.

La personne de l'accueil que j'ai eu le lendemain matin elle par contre a été très gentille!

Pour moi le prix est un peut élevé.

I came to this hotel the first night and I was so happy with the outlook of it and the way the front desk greeted us. She was very nice. Out of the three hotels that we choose in jasper and banff, we thought this was the best one until I came to the bedroom and moved the blanket. It was wrinkly and looked like it wasn’t changed from the previous stay. I called the front desk and she said that there is no house keeper so I would have to change the bedsheet and the blanket. It is so disgusting that I would have to clean a bedsheet prom previous stay. I am just sitting in chair now and thinking how i would sleep all night sitting in a chair like this. There was no manager to report. When I complained to the fro t desk, she said I will let the house keep know tomorrow. I just stood there like how do I sleep like this tonight. I asked to have my room changed as well and she said there are no other rooms. Very very disappointed. So stay here if you are a clean person

This is one of the best experiences I’ve had in Canada with a three star hotel.the service is great, rooms are great but the best part about it is the view. My family and I came here in September and the morning views right across the hotel are breathtaking and quite frankly I’ve never seen anything like it. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic stay here. The rooms were spotless, free coffee 24/7 was a great perk, the front desk staff was incredibly friendly, and all of this came at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

Helpful staff, our toilet blocked twice and overflowed once, they did fix it promptly but they need to refresh the fixtures and relatively noisy AC units. It was fine otherwise.

Definitely worth $350+ per night.
The location was good, much closer to Banff.
The staff are friendly too. The only hotel who provided bottled water (stayed in 4 hotels all provided water at the entrance area only not in the room) I love the reception area or the entertainment room/living room that's a big plus for us! We didn't have breakfast included but they provided free coffee, tea, hot chocolate and hot water so it's still all good.

Beautiful lobby with ample seatings with a piano for anybody to play, has games to pass the time away and coffee tea and hot choco any time of day and night also has complimentary charcuterie and wine at 5pm. Rooms are spacious as well. Provides secure storage for your mountain bikes. Has Tesla charging stations on site. Staff are awesome friendly and helpful. The $5 breakfast bag is great too. Drawback is the wifi is choppy and tv too.

The rooms are beautiful the staff are incompetent. GET BETTER STAFF.
