Went here on Saturday, DJ Cody Des was awesome. Loved the atmosphere. Had the fish tacos, so yummy. Cocktails were the bomb. Waitress and staff were so kind. Ten out of ten.
The ambiance is nice and the music level is just right to still have a conversation. We had the cheese platter and the carnitas and they were both very tasty. I had a prosecco and it wasn't really good; I didn't get any bubbliness like the bottle was opened for a while. In general I liked the place but one of the waitress was a bit rude; out of the blue she brought another carnitas that we didn't order and she said "remember you ordered another of these? " and when we said no; she said oh I guess "I imagined it" in a very sarcastic tone. It made no sense since we didn't even finished the 1st plate we ordered. The other thing I didn't like is that this same waitress kept my friend's phone to hold our table. My friend left her wallet in her car so she had to run back to get it and the waitress didn't believe her she'd come back I guess. I know my friend did it to ensure she got a table for us but this young lady needs to learn better manners to threat people. The place wasn't even packed on a Friday night to justify her approach. We also felt rush to order more drinks; while we stayed a couple of hours; our bill was over $100; I don't think we were abusing our time there; specially cause again they were not busy. It's a shame we had to deal with this lady; as we'll likely won't come back because of this reason.
Loved it! Very reminiscent of a speakeasy (because of course I would know lol). Very chill atmosphere with the same atmosphere in music. The vibe is top notch, smoooth. As are the drinks! A+ We'll be back. (Posted this same review using my child's account by accident. Deleted and reposted!).
Sehr schöner, beheizter und windgeschützter Außenbereich. Sehr leckeres Essen und super Cocktails, nur zu empfehlen! Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam, vielen Dank für den schönen Abend:)
Cocktails were small but excellent. We split a plate of nachos and they did not skimp out on the toppings! Shout out to the lovely waitresses - service was top notch.
Fancy pants drinks at fancy pants pricing. Kind, attentive staff. Mostly Mexican flair menu. Ah-maZing brownie dessert. Soooo good! I will go back for some patio with drinks for sure!
By far the best meal I've had in a LONG time! Nachos were absolutely delicious and you have to get extra salsa.it's to die for. Their whole menu (minus 2 items) is gluten free! I had the tacos and I was in heaven! Emma was our lovely server and she was fantastic. I'll be sure to come back!
Unbelievable staff, they are all very kind and lots of fun to be around. Would list by name but they are all amazing! Chef Kevin's food is always on point and the cocktails are unbelievable. Definitely a must-visit in Calgary.
Thank you for such a lovely afternoon of it for me and my team last Wednesday - well, those who weren’t COVID-19 waylaid anyway! The branded menus were so thoughtful, the Fisher Law signature cocktail was delicious, the eats - including the vegetarian created dishes - were devoured by all, and your gang were so on point with great service and even better smiles and good cheer.
I appreciated all the pandemic protocols you had in place. It made each of us feel safe and well taken care of. The flexibility and understanding of you and your team as our numbers dropped to just five of us through the week was so appreciated. We’ll be returning for further events in the coming year and I’ll be back for more Cannibale delightfulness with friends and family very soon.
Much appreciated and warmest wishes to each of you for the year ahead,
Solid as always. My wife and I rarely get the time to go out on a date but when given the opportunity, this place hits the mark. Excellent service, great cocktails, and a solid offering of small plates and food.
We found this gem in Bridgeland and was very impressed! Tony was our representative of this great place and we were not disappointed. Thank you for the beautiful experience and we will be back!
Cannibale is a great place to enjoy cocktails and food. Their cocktail menu changes regularly, which is great, and they are always made with care and precision. If you're looking for somewhere to go in Bridgeland make sure to check them out. Also, if you're looking for a haircut, their onsite barber service is great, and included in the price of a cut is a drink!
My boyfriend and I stumbled across the Cannibale patio on Friday night and the cocktails and food were so great! The burger is good, and the daiquiri and margarita they have are deliciousss. We had good service too even though it was busy!
Great little eatery in the heart of Bridgeland with a heated patio. Our server, Tony (?), was friendly, knowledgeable and hilarious! Will definitely be back!
One of our favorite spots in the city. Consistently awesome food and drinks, and super friendly service. The menu and tap-list changes quite often too so it's always worth revisiting.
This place is a joke.if you want to have no fun and no drink service and read a book this is your jam! Servers were rude, And we waited 45 min for drinks! Our group of 5 girls will never go back.
It’s refreshing to see a place that executes at such a high level. A nice small cocktail bar with great music and a relaxed atmosphere.
I had a Winter Amaro, which was one of the better cocktails I’ve had in a long time. I’ve been managing restaurants for years and cocktail mastery is the mark of great spot in my book. I also appreciate the draught selection, a couple Calgary craft options plus some rare finds - hard to find Portland brews north of the border. The selection of spirits is one of the better you’ll find in Calgary, particularly for bourbons.
The Reuben sandwich I had was easily top three I’ve ever had - the brisket was incredible. Truffle popcorn was good but the truffle seasoning tasted odd to me - I am not certain but it may have been imitation flavour. Still a great snack regardless.
Prices are high but you get what you pay for, the quality and attention to detail is evident. Service was attentive, friendly, and professional. I’m looking forward to trying the charcuterie next time I visit.
Great cocktail bar in this neighborhood. Dark and cozy so bring a phone flashlight to read the menu. Drinks are well done, food was also excellent. We shared the charcuterie plate. I heard the Cuban sandwich was delicious as well.
Great atmosphere. I've only been a few times and the bartenders were very friendly and the music was great everytime. I've added new songs to my playlists from this place. Haven't tried the food yet. Extremely limited beer selection but it is a cocktail bar so a beer drinker like me isn't bothered. The only thing holding back from more stars is the price of drinks. Is this in YYC or NYC? But if you've got the money for $10-15 dollar cocktails, then this place is cool.
Lovely little place, boyfriend took me here and the waitress was incredible and sweet and helped tell me what music was playing. Excellent music taste! Cocktails are a bit expensive but worth it because they are delicious. Haven’t tried the food yet but will be back!
This place is nothing but amazing! The staff are great they know our order as soon as we come in, Courtney, Andrew, Ian are great to name a few can’t remember all of them! The food is amazing, the drinks are awesome and will always come back here! I’m glad to call this place my goto.a job well done, keep up the amazing work and we shall see you next time!
Came on a weekday night so it wasn't too busy. Bottom line was the drink was good, the service was fabulous, and the chips were totally forgettable.
Got the Jungle Bird (like many others on Yelp it seems) and thought it was pretty tasty. Can't go wrong with pineapple. The bar chips we ordered tasted like they came straight out of a bag, so nothing to write home about there.
The bartender was exceptionally friendly and told us about his travels throughout Canada and the world. Always cool when you get a chance to speak with people with different experiences than your own.
The setting itself is awesome-who wouldn't want to drink in the back of a barber shop? I'd have no issue coming back next time I'm in Calgary.
Small classy yet modern speakeasy with some amazing cocktails. I havent tried any food their but I'm willing to go back again for sure. Nice location with an outdoor patio. Kinda dissapointed on how easy it is to access the bar given it's a "speakeasy" but it makes sense for other customers.
Okay! You all need to read this precious piece! It was a monday afternoon and we were feeling adventurous. One of our friend told us about this place and said-"Go for the pizzaface! " That is how the story begins. We ended up eating three amazin thin crusted pizzas with bunch of cocktails. Try their Eoman Holiday with the fresh mint leaves! It is the best tonique to forget how much you hate a Monday! The Amaro Flights are the perfect tri-mix of happiness that will help you count your days till friday hits you hard! While my guy is being pampered with a clean edgy haircut by Gary who has 30 years of experience in his pocket, I am posting this review on a sunny summer evening. Shaun, one of the share holders, served us with excellent customer service. He literally OWNS the place! What a wonderful man. Emma helped us to pick the right drinks and Ty knew everything about the pizzas. Wonderful atmosphere with a good crowd. Now you all know the story about this hidden gem. Ps. The washroom soap smells delicious! Lol
Nice cocktail bar with friendly staff. The drink selection was quite good and the bar tender was very knowledgeable. There is a nice happy hour selection, with daily themes including tiki drinks and Italian amaro. Worth a stop if you are in the area. The afternoon crowd seems to be mostly locals.
Went with a friend to try Italian Night. Drinks were decently priced and delicious. They also come with snacks, and that includes cheese! Would like to try this place on Tiki night as well:)
Limited food options but they do an excellent job with any food they serve. The turkey and fig sandwich is delicious. Very nice patio for catching up with a few friends. Street parking only. Not a big place so if you are a larger group (more than 4 people) wanting to visit on a busy Friday night get there early or be prepared to wait awhile. You can enter directly to the patio or thru the main door by the barber chair window. Seat yourself. The waitress will come by when she sees you. You may need to make eye contact for them to notice you if you walk in and sit down really quickly. You can't expect them to notice every new table esp if you are 2 people in a packed place. Right?:)
Realllllly great cocktails. The whacked out strange af "English Milk Punch" is such the strangest mix of ingredients I've ever had but surprisingly SO good. So this now gets my award for "destination location for weirdest drink".
Other drinks are also excellent. Fun atmosphere. I particularly like that both times I've gone there's been people drinking and reading.
What a cool idea to mix a barbershop and cocktails and these folks do it right. Lots of ambience, cool people and great servers. Try the tequila. All of them.
Visited on a cold Tiki Tuesday night in February. Place was packed, lucky 2 spots opened up at bar when we walked in. We tried a few of the Pupus, steam buns were great but they ran out. Rum drinks are where its at on Tuesday, Bartender Ernie will mix them up for only $10. Will have to plan another trip to try more food items.
This place is awesome. My friend and I shared several different cocktails - all of which were delicious. Claudia was an awesome server. As a fan of classic Italian cinema, her name and personality elicited memories of watching films from Dario Argento, Federico Fellini, and Vittorio De Sica. We will surely return here again to experience the top-notch service and indulge in the flavorful cocktails.
I was pleasantly surprised with this little (very little) spot! We had a going away party for a good work colleague, he requested Cannibale specifically, and I'm really glad he did! Initially I was a little worried we would be able to accommodate our whole party but it managed to work out. Service was top notch, our server was friendly, helpful and prompt. Wide array of drink selections for everyone - I'm not a whiskey drinker by any means, so I was pleased to see a great selection of other cocktails, wines and beers. I had the chicken bahn mi and it was DELICIOUS! I may have to go back very soon, just for that. Overall, the space is small but comfortable and well laid out. Can't wait to go back!
Some of the cocktails on the menu can be hit or miss. The good ones are amazing, but I think there is the occasional dud that lacks in flavour. The bar staff are great though. I’ve ordered off the menu lots of times and I have enjoyed virtually every drink I’ve gotten. The food menu is limited but what is available is very well done. I’ve always gotten good service. Prices are about on par with other cocktail bars in the city. My husband gets his hair cut there and has always been happy with the results, especially when he is seen by Bryce. He really likes that he can book an appointment online.
I am mixed on this review because Jan at the one in Bridgeland gave me the best haircut I’ve had in ages so I want to rate it high. But my parents were in town this weekend so I booked my dad and I in for a deluxe shave with Luis (who I hadn’t been to before). Honestly, I’m very disappointed as this was supposed to be a nice treat and both of us walked away with stubble and uneven beard lines. It was $100 before tax and tip and to leave without perfectly smooth skin where I need to go back home and redo the shave is frustrating.
I’m going back to Jan in Bridgeland, but I’ll never go in for this service or recommend it to anyone else.
