I have a chronic lower back pain. My X-ray showed 2 herniated discs. It’s difficult to find a chiropractor that can help relieve my pain but I have been blessed finding Dr. Goodwin. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He takes his time to get to know you and the reason for your visit. He informs you of the different treatments available but will work with you to find which best suits your needs. He keeps track of your progress and guides you to recovery.
The atmosphere in the clinic and the staff are warm and welcoming. Estella reminds me of my appointment a day before which I appreciate because I keep forgetting the days with my busy schedule. Thumbs up to Canora Chiropractic

Dr. Stephen Goodwin is 0ne of the best doctor here in Edmonton, so gentle and kind to his clients, my lower back pain is gone, his technique in dealing with different kinds of body pain is totally amazing, I can recommend him to my friends.
And ofcourse the staff are efficient and approachable, scheduling and follow-up is pretty awesome.

It always is a pleasure to go here I started seeing him solo for he gets down and does what is necessary for me instead of trying to drag it out for many visits to solve a simple problem

I have had three issues that Dr. Sulz has dealt with and I am so very pleased with the results. I am a golfer and my left shoulder was in constant pain. Dr. Sulz did some manipulations and a couple of sessions later there is no more pain. He had some orthodics made for me that have eliminated the heel spurs pain and has also helped my sciatica. I am an avid pickleball player who developed lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow), to the point where I was not able to lift a coffee cup. I had needling done and lots of physio and I still was not improving. I have been seeing Dr. Sulz for shock wave therapy and massages. What a difference. I was in a car accident about 20 years ago and developed incredible pain in shoulder. I was having Cortizon shots in my shoulders for over 6 years. My body got used to Cortizon and it stopped working. I was left in tremendous pain and was out of my benefits as I had settled in court. I now had developed frozen shoulder syndrome. In the New Year I had gone to see doctor Goodwin who assessed me as having frozen shoulder syndrome and treated me with shock treatment. Within minutes my shoulder felt better and after a couple treatments I was able to move my arms in a ways that I hadn't been able to move in years. Incorporated with going to the gym my arms are now almost 100% healed.

Also due to the car accident I had developed sciatica which would come and go periodically. He would crack my back and it would alleviate some of my pain. However, after I got the covid shot and incorrelation with going to the gym my back began to extremely tighten up. After the sciatica was gone I was left in aching aching pain and I struggled to put my own socks on daily.
I saw the doctor and he recommended quarters own shots again which is which is extremely painful and I did not want to take that into my body again.
I saw doctor Goodwin today and he Suggested we would try shock therapy again on my lower back. He treated me with shock treatment and I can feel the difference a couple hours later. I am excited to see what a couple of treatments are going to do.

I cannot express how grateful I am to doctor Goodwin for the help and care he has provided for me. Money cannot replace a healthy body. I'm very athletic and to take away my mobility has been mentally excruciating for me. Thank you so much Dr Goodwin and I pray God's many many richly blessings to your life for the wellness and compassion that you have had shown on me.

My recommendation for all those who have read this if you have never had shock treatment. Go get it done, it has helped me with my planter fascia, my lower back and my frozen shoulder I am grateful this works.

The cupping is a great addition to any massage. The atmosphere was very welcoming and relaxing. Also was greatly greeted and checked in by the friendly staff at the front. I have been a patient of Dr. Goodwin's for many years. Steven is never rushed, takes time to hear your concerns and is thoughtful about the solutions. He is not a stereotypical bone crunching chiropractor. Steven utilizes a variety of modalities for may different issues.

I have been battling a significant case of sciatica for several months now. Spinal decompression treatment has been amazing and I am pain free for the first time in a long time, after just a few treatments. If you sit too much at work or because of too much down time during a pandemic, this may be just what "the" Dr orders.

I have gone to Stephen each of the two times I have thrown out my back in the past few years. I have had an MRI that shows a protruding disk in my lower back. Surgery had been recommended in the past however following treatments on Stephen’s amazing space age decompression machine, I feel fantastic! Able to walk, sit and lay on my back free of pain once again. Such a relief abs game changer. Last year some one I know was having terrible back problems and tried physio exercises & CBD oil.none of it worked. They finally listened to me and saw Stephen for decompression therapy. I asked him a couple of days ago how his back is and he said he’s had no problems since.

Twenty years ago, I had an MRI done on my back. The surgeon recommended spinal fusion on my lower back. I decided to use adjustments hoping for an alternative. In March, I began 15 NSSD decompressions. I have had no tingling or numbness in my legs. I also sleep through the night without waking with pain. I highly recommend this procedure.

I was referred to Dr Goodwin from another chiropractor almost 17 years ago as I was training to enter Law Enforcement, but was struggling with a sciatic nerve ailment. It was because of him that I was able to succeed in that journey. Recently I have been faced with an issue again and Dr Goodwin is still as committed now as he was 17 years ago. His professionalism and knowledge of body chemistry goes without saying. I highly recommend Canora Chiropractic.

I have been seeing Dr. Goodwin since a motor vehicle accident in Sept. 2009. Both my husband and I were involved in the MVA and were both treated by Dr. Goodwin. Then again in Jan. 2011, three other family members and I were involved in yet another MVA, we were all treated by Dr. Goodwin. Our injuries required us to see him 5x a week for the first few months, but it was well worth commuting the 30 minutes each way from North Edmonton for the treatments. The staff at Canora were professional and very accommodating to get all four of us in and out quickly. Eventually Dr. Goodwin cured me of my injuries from the two MVA's.

In early 2018, I started to have sporadic leg pains in the middle of the night, this continued for well over a year and progressively got worst to the point where it came on every night between 3 am to 5 am, waking me up and preventing me from going back to sleep. I saw Dr. Goodwin and he treated me six days a week for two full weeks, reducing to three days a week for an additional two weeks with the occasional follow-up appointment as required. He was determined to make we well again. It has been about 18 months since my last treatment with Dr. Goodwin and I haven't had anymore leg pains and I have never slept so well in a long time. Thank you Dr. Goodwin for your kind and gentle care in treating me and making me well.

I've been seeing Stephen for the better part of 6 years now. Up until my most recent back issue I've never had any problems. In the past week I've been in 4 times and my issue has not been resolved at all. Money out of pocket for nothing this time around and it's beyond frustrating. The wait times have turned into horrendous marathons as well. On average I've spent an hour in office for each of the past 4 visits.

I first visited this office because it was approved by WCB when I messed up my shoulder as a hairstylist. Dr Levy helped me get back to a pain free lifestyle and I’ve been loyal to him ever since. Occasionally I’ll mess up my neck overnight and need to see him same day for an adjustment, and the office is very flexible for that. I would highly recommend him for anybody looking for a new chiropractor.
