I have a dog who barks at strangers who come to the front door. This is part of his job. Driver yells “hush up” at me and my dog while we are behind a locked screen door. You do not go onto someone’s property to do a delivery and yell at them. Extremely unprofessional

Very rude driver, does not respect safety protocols or drop off things at the right place. All other vendors delivers at the right warehouse entrance. Will ask my vendors not to use Canpar. Do not recommend this company for delivery

Beyond slow. I can walk to Edmonton and back before even seeing my package. Talking to someone in like pulling teeth. The reason why anyone would use Canpar is beyond me. The WORST shipping company period.

After reading all the negative reviews on Canpar I was all stressed out that my new TV would not arrive on time or would show up damaged. Well not only did it arrive on time, undamaged in any way, the driver asked if I needed a hand getting into the house. While I declined the offer was much appreciated. Sometimes we are so quick to blame a company for poor service when it is the staff. Canpar, and it's drivers proved the bulk of these reviews wrong. 6 * to them!

This delivery service is useless! They said they “attempted delivery” at my home twice. Interesting because I work from home and not a single person rang our bell either times. So how did they notify me they were here? By telepathy? Next it’s impossible to speak to an agent. I was on hold for hours, no one picked up. And when I tried to do the live chat with an agent on their website, it’s only available Monday to Friday 9-5. If my package gets sent back I’m not going to be happy.

Delivered box 1/2 and now 2/2 is missing. Customer service was trying to be helpful but could not understand English very well, and a 2 minute conversation quickly turned into a 20 minute conversation of me spelling out each letter slowly. Absolutely terrible experience. First and last time for canpar.

Terrible - they showed up without warning and left a package outside to be destroyed. Cut me off after being on hold, and then hung up on me when I said that this isn't my fault or the fault of the sender - its theirs!

Canpar has to work on better customer service. My package was lost for two days then I finally found out it was to be delivered that day. It did not show up. The next day a car showed up at my residence an elderly man came to my door with my package. He told me it was delivered and left at his apartment building the address was not even close to the address on the tag. My thoughts do not use Canpar unreliable and drivers cannot read addresses correctly. Thanks to the senior home residence who brought it to me. Hey Canpar maybe get this kind old gentleman on your payroll your ratings might improve.

I don't have anything bad to say. They delivered my package undamaged, so there's that. Shipper messed my address up and these guys fixed it within a day.

Sounds like a common problem. Got a notification that "Delivery attempted, but no one was available to sign for the package. " I work from home and couldn't have missed it. Why not be honest?

Absolute worst delivery service and employing shady tactics to mask under resourced customer service. Delivery drivers not ringing doorbells (caught on Ring camera), other times they only attempt once despite being told by the vendor I purchased from that they’ll attempt twice. Packages are held at inappropriate locations. Mine get sent to a local convenience store in a very unprofessional setting where they are not secured and sit on a shelf in the store that is accessible to the public. One package was “delivered” there but then wasn’t there for pickup and “never showed up”. And the worst part is if you manage to sit through all the automation on their customer service line and get through to a customer service agent you’re put on hold and when they “pick up it” no voice is heard but it mysteriously “drops the call” and boots you out of the system. This is not a one time occurrence but clearly a pattern of manipulation and I genuinely wonder if the call lines are staffed at all. Absolutely ridiculous. This is my 8th interaction with CanPar and every single one has been sub-par, pun intended. Do better or get out for the business and make way for enterprises that actually care about their customers. Vendors working with this delivery service that aren’t aware of the end user experience, you should know better.

I stayed home looking out the window waiting for the delivery checking every 10 min outside and somehow never heard a knock on the door just to miss the delivery It's as if the driver is trying not to be heard or seen. Worst delivery company by far avoid them at all costs.

Would leave zero stars if I could.
The driver arrived 2 business days late for a scheduled pickup and only took one parcel with him, while leaving the other sitting on my porch overnight after I brought if out for him. This resulted in nearly $3000.00 worth of damages to liquid products. I am still awaiting a response from customer service to receive a refund & compensation,

Absolutely atrocious service. Do not schedule with Canpar.

If I could give zero stars I would. The expected delivery date was wrong. When it was finally out for delivery, they didn’t deliver. The following day (out for delivery time two) they didn’t deliver AND said we weren’t home. My partner waited on hold for over an hour to ask to have it actually delivered. The person said it would be out the following day again. It wasn’t. He called again. They said they’d likely send out for delivery the next day. Again, wrong. When finally they sent it out again (after a week of being jerked around) they AGAIN said nobody was home without coming up to the door, attempting to deliver, leaving a message or literally anything. I would strongly recommend using literally any other delivery service. Frankly, carrier pigeons may have been more successful.

Definitely the most unreliable, disorganized and worst delivery in Canada. If you want your shipment to be lost, broken or permanently unusable, then use this company, because I have had a couple of deliveries entrusted to this company, but none of them ended well. I'm still waiting for one from Amazon that was supposed to arrive a month ago, but nothing. Tracking the shipment, even though it is available on the Internet, is unusable, because the vac tracking number will never be entered, so you will not know where your shipment is. In a word, a DISASTER from the company.

Paid extra shipping. Company lied and said was weather delay to avoid notice. Called Titleist they are looking into it. Told me me irons and future packages will not be delivered by them. So waiting for package still

Ordered parts from Hunts and made special arrangements to have my package picked up. Spent the entire day waiting and told that their drivers don't have phones and the best the could do is email me. I'm still waiting on that email and my package never showed up! Do yourself and clients a favor and use FedEx.

Terrible and shocking experience! I grabbed the box right after the driver left it in front of my house door. I noticed the unusual light weight of the box. And also a cut on the box. Lookat the photos. Opened it right away and.the CPAP machine is missing! Can you believe this? I ordered this CPAP machine more than one week ago and when it is delivered the machine is not in the box! Unbelievable! I took photos and emailed to the seller and tried to call Canpar office and chat to live chat but no chance. I'm waiting for seller's response but at the same time Canpar as courier is responsible for this. This is a $1200 machine. The worst part is that my son cannot sleep without this machine. I am so frustrated and angry.

I was expecting a package to be delivered to me, and while it was quick, they delivered it to a completely wrong house!
I had been checking the tracking all day and the update didn’t show until about 2 hours later that it got delivered, and when it became obvious that didn’t mean my house, I tried tirelessly for several hours to get ahold of a representative. Their phone number is useless, it’s impossible to get ahold of a real person; no email, and their live chat is a joke. They simply just don’t do customer service apparently.
Luckily the person whose house it did get dropped off to was very sweet and notified me, but had she not then I could have lost an important package. They didn’t even bother checking with whomever lived there, they simply just dropped it off on their porch and called it a day.

Sadly this is my first experience with Canpar and so far it's been a pile of hot garbage. Nothing seems to work. A package was supposed to arrive at my house, but no one is there to sign for it. The driver left an incomprehensible note with a random address on it for a pharmacy somewhere in town. Is this where I'm supposed to pick up my package? When will it be available for pickup? I tried calling customer support - useless as you need a Canpar number customer number to get anywhere with that. The liveagent system is just a useless bot. Come on guys, you can do so much better than this. It takes so little effort to improve on this.please do better.

The services trash. Takes over an hour to get a hold of them on the phone to find out that they don't really know anything cuz the system is automated I've had packages sitting in their warehouse for weeks getting loaded and unloaded on the same truck in the same place because they don't know where it's going so instead of reaching out they just let it sit in the warehouse. And now that I have made communication with them and cleared things up it's been a week and the package still hasn't moved

They don't even deserve 1 star. They seriously need to clean house with these delivery drivers. Never make attempts to deliver with excuses "weather". Was the weather too beautiful outside to deliver? Huh? Their website is dog too, their "live chat" can never seem to direct me to a live agent. Should probably call it something else. False advertising. And their provided phone number literally directs me to the website with every option. Do they even have a life customer service? How they are still around is beyond me.

The driver didn't follow delivery instruction and just left delivery notice twice (2 days).
I also left the instruction on the first delivery notice (paper) so that the driver would see the written instruction for 2nd delivery attempt. The driver didn't bother and just left another delivery notice for pick up.
Teksavvy should stop shipping via Canpar.

We had a delivery driver come with a package we were waiting on. Our front door was open and you could see in through the screen - letting the driver know we are in fact home. On our security cameras we saw the driver come up, write a delivery notice, and leave. We then had called
Canpar to voice our concerns - and they didn’t answer. Called back and left a call back number - still didn’t hear from them. We waited til the next day and got our package. We will never EVER use canpar for anything and will let the world know just how bad their delivery drivers and service is. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL!

Terrible courier company. No customer service. They lost my parcel, it was shipped over 20days ago.
Another long wait today on the phone to be told they can’t find it. Emailed them with no response.
Will definitely avoid them in the future.

The package was delivered to the wrong address. They didn't even bother to take a picture of where it got delivered for retrieval. Unreliable courier service, avoid at all cost.

I'll second any review that says that they would give this company a zero star rating. I called four times after never receiving my parcel on the projected delivery date. The only reason I was aware that the package delivery "was attempted" - despite it stopping at a town over an hour away - was because I was watching the tracking online. Once I saw that the delivery driver marked it as "unable to locate consignee", that's when I made my first call. To note: there was no attempt made in the town where I live, no phone call, and no email. I had my address changed to a physical address, as apparently they do not ship to PO Boxes (despite them accepting the parcel from the shipper, transporting, and delivering to my location). I was then told my package would arrive within two business days. It did not. I called a second time, and was met by a very confused rep who I had to correct several times as to what was going on with my package - again, the only reason I knew was because of watching online tracking. He had made mention that he would put a note on my file, and that my package should arrive Monday, Tuesday at the latest. Spoiler alert: my package did not get delivered Monday. I called again and was told I would need to contact the shipper as "for some reason" the supervisor had now authorized my package to be returned to shipper. How you ask? No one seemed to know. He tried to tell me that I had been late updating them with a physical address, although that seemed a bit odd to me given I would have had no idea about anything unless I was watching the tracking closely. Too bad I had left my crystal ball at home that day. I then contacted the shipper who explained to me that they would attempt to reach out to canpar to figure out what was going on as - rightfully so - they do not have control over the package delivery. No kidding. I actually feel badly for the shipper as none of this is their fault, but they are unfortunately going to lose business over this. Today I called again and had a lengthy, maze-like, conversation with a fourth rep from canpar who I explained all of the above to, and was met with a "well, we can't stop the truck from returning the package to the sender", and who attempted to tell me that essentially it is in no-man's land as neither the shipper nor canpar have ownership of the package. You know. Despite it being on a canpar truck. And despite me attempting three times prior to have someone help me with it's rerouting. Long story short, use at your own risk and Godspeed if you do.

I found a misdelivery slip days after it was left. I contacted the company and stated we were home all day (it's covid where else would we be). Now I either have to pay for a reattempt or drive an hour to go pick it up. Horrible company. Clearly lazy delivery drivers. Would rate no stars if possible!

I urge everyone to contact whoever sent you the package and urge them to use a different shipping provider. I called Walmart and they said they will take it into consideration. I'm not driving halfway across the city when they didn't even attempt to make a delivery. Ill just reorder it since the delivery was free. Walmart will lose money and if they lose enough money they will realize doing business with Canpar is a mistake.

Had 4 -17” steel truck wheels delivered to my house and when no one answered the door right away the driver carried them into the back yard.
Very pleased with that level of service. Highly recommend this company

On delivery to my apartment, driver asked me to come downstairs, and would not bring parcel upstairs to the suite, citing company "protocols".

I called Canpar's customer service to verify. Customer service confirmed, citing their COVID-19 protocol. However, this makes little sense, as every other delivery service during the pandemic has managed to drop packages upstairs to the door (Skip, UPS, DoorDash, DHL, FedEx, etc). In fact, by making customers meet the driver downstairs face-to-face, it INCREASES transmission likelihood for all parties. Also, if I had not been home to take possession of my package from the driver, they wouldn't have been able to drop it off, and I would've had to pick it up at their depot way in the other side of town.

What kind of package delivery company can't be bothered to drop parcels off at the customer's door? What kind of responsible company during a pandemic forces customers to interact face-to-face, rather than choosing safer socially-distanced options?

I will never shop anywhere that uses Canpar as the shipper.

Businesses: look at all the terrible, terrible reviews, and ask yourself if YOU want Canpar to represent your company.

How they are dealing with the package I would say without any attempt for delivery just stick note infront of lobby and left. This happens second time. Now I have 35 min of drive oneway to get their location. No answer on phone calls too. Very bad.

Bought about $6500 worth of Audio gear from Ont. They used CanPar. Said it would be signature upon release. Delivery guy plopped it on front door step, forged my signature and took off. I'm in Edmonton. Package tracking is also garbage, shows only they took receipt for pkg and then when it's delivered.

I had a package delivered to my home and I was home all day and no one came by with it. When I called the CSR there are no other arragements for them to come and I have to go pick it up. Simply the worst.

Worst courier company ever. The decision to refuse delivery of anything firearm related without notice to businesses who used their service is a genuine slap in the face to small businesses across the country.

F you canpar. You’ve just turned over 10% of the Canadian population against yourself because you lack a backbone to stand up to social justice warrior causes that demonize the firearms community unjustly.

Thank you for letting us ALL know there are better companies to do business with And I hope your loss of revenue over this drastically hurts your entire operation.

Terrible shipping company. Archaic website with confusing wording, lack of in store customer service, telephone support was just as horrible and useless, and then the online chat - where it takes forever to get connected to an agent, and then when you finally do they ignore you and don't respond. Utterly garbage.

If I could give a zero rating I would. The driver came to Stony Plain to leave a NOTE…he made NO attempt to deliver. We were home the entire time. He did not ring the door bell… (that IS what they are for). It was a 5: 24pm. I think the driver did not want to have to unload anything from his truck late on a Friday so he just left a note and didn’t bother to ring. Terrible customer service! The company we purchased the delivery item from said they are stuck with using Canpar because they are the only one who will deliver heavy loads. Because of that the company doesn’t care about negative reviews. Be forewarned people…it is a company that hires drivers who use tricks to avoid working too hard.

Was worried after reading all of the terrible reviews but package came within a week or ordering with no issues. Originally estimated to come on a Friday but ended up coming on Monday which is why I gave it 4 stars only. Package was a large TV

This company does not list a contact number, has no one monitoring its "live chat" and never, ever rings the doorbell, they just slap a 'you were not home, go pick it up here" sticker on the door. How is someone unable to leave their house to get their package? Canpar is the Most SUBpar delivery group in Edmonton, Alberta.
