If I was rating Toyota vehicles only, it would be 5 stars. Toyota's are solid cars. However, I'm not too happy with the dealer and that brings me to a 3 star rating. If it was based strictly on Canyon Creep Toyota, it would have given a 1 star rating. I've been there twice. Once to buy a vehicle the second time to get my first "free oil change" as promised to me verbally in person. Both times I left the dealership with a looming sense of being taken for a fool with their surreptitious attempts in charging me for an extra fee or another.

First visit - knocking off $200 from the trade in value of my car, after agreeing to final set price. Charging $995 Documentation fee (at that price I'll do the photocopies myself and supply them with the paper as well.along with a complimentary roll of toilet paper to boot!). Bi-weekly financing while I repeatedly requested Monthly.

Second visit - While the free oil change is contingent upon following every recommended service maintenance, what is not mentioned is the cost associated with the maintenance schedule. (more akin to an inspection schedule with the hopes of finding something extra to charge for actual maintenance). So as long as you follow Canyon Creep's recommended maintenance scheduled intervals and pay the associated fees, the "free oil changes" are null and void. First maintenance fee of $97 includes checking installation of floor mats, inspect all lights, horn, wiper blades, inspect filters and a slew of other pointless checks, oh and a "free oil change". (Mr Lube offers all that at no additional cost and they threw in a free set of promotional wiper blades). The other service fees gradually get more and more expensive ($238, then $335 for starters then of course extra $$ for the "real service" - replacement of brake pads, rotors, air filter, gaskets etc aka: the normal stuff). Suffice to say I will be bringing my vehicle inspection and maintenance business elsewhere.

My 2018 highlander's quarter glass got cracked and i went here last month (aug. 21st 2023) to get it replaced, so they had it replaced and they called me to pick up my vehicle but when i got there i of course check it before leave, i was surprised to see what happened to my vehicle, as you can see in the pictures there are lots of small broken glass pieces inside the cabin, multiple stains and scratches, and what worst is one of the panel is cracked (which wasn't there before i brought it in), so it was already late around 630 pm and service department was already closed, drove my highlander home then the next day early in the morning i went there to show it to Zsolt service advisor but wasn't there yet, so Lawrence was there to assist me and help me with my concern, he looked at it and took some pictures of the damages and he said it wasn't toyota who did the glass panel replacement, it was a third party glass company which is the "Economy Glass", if i only knew that toyota canyon creek itself is not going to do it for my highlander then i should have brought it to other glass replacement company to save some money, but i chose Toyota Canyon Creek because i trust them to do a professional and excellent job for my vehicle but unfortunately this happend, so they contacted the economy glass and they said that they want to see the vehicle but i told them i am at work right now and i will be leaving to manitoba tomorrow for my holiday for almost 2 weeks, and they agreed to see the vehicle when i get back to town, so when i got back from my holiday i went in toyota for them to see the vehicle and they ordered the parts which Zsolt said its gonna be like 3-4 day for the parts to arrive, after few days Zsolt called me saying the parts is now available, so i booked an appointment but an hour before my appointment Zsolt phoned me to say they can not do it today, so i said "okay fine" (sigh) so i booked an appointment again today (sept. 20,2003) left my vehicle arou d 11am ish, and guess what? 4pm Zsolt called and said the guys didn't show up to do it and nobody (technician) in the service can do it today and i have to leave my highlander til tomorrow, and of course i just said yes to Zsolt, and didn't even offer a vehicle for me to use while my highlander is in the dealership? What am i going to use going to work? Good thing i have extra car, what if i don't have use? This so very inconvinient for me! Im so stressed and frustrated with what's going on right now, wasting my time back and forth.aggh! Until when am i going to wait to get the part installed? ! I am hoping this nightmare ends very soon! I hope you guys at Toyota Canyon Creek management will do something about this inconvinience you are giving me! Reviewing 0 stars if possible

I have dealt with the service team for years here and they always treat me fairly and have kept my car in amazing shape. Yesterday I had the pleasure of finalizing picking up a new car, and let me just say Robert was amazing to deal with. He made sure I knew what I needed to know, answered all my questions and in general made me feel comfortable with my decision. Working with him, Kelly and Ronnie I don't think I have ever had a car purchase go so seamlessly. Thank you! I will definitely be coming back.

Maggie saved me. My jeep would 100% not make the return trip home. I needed something asap. She made sure I was happy with my options, helped with holding and finances. She made sure all my questions were answered. I got the car the next day. And when I was back up north and had a question she responded same day. Very relaxed and happy experiance. If you need a new or used vehicle I'd definitely recommend going in and talking to Naveed. He got me into exactly what I needed in a truck and I couldn't be happier with the whole process. He didn't have what I needed at first but when he got inventory he let me know and helped me through the whole process. Not only did he make sure it was exactly what I needed he followed up a few days to make sure I was happy. Everything was very clear and concise and made a stressful decision much easier.

I am extremely disappointed on how one of your product advisor Cel De Leon handled my dad's inquiry recently. Please train your employees how to be professional and respectful when posting on social media. My dad is genuinely asking about vehicles since Cel De Leon posted on the Filipino community facebook group about your dealership buying used vehicles. Cel responded in a very rude way, disrespecting and publicly shaming my dad on social media just for responding to her post. She even told him that he is not even a customer. Don't you realize that my dad can be a potential customer? And that maybe his friends and relatives can be potential customers too? Isn't the purpose of posting your services on social media is to get potential customers? For your information, the fact that he is responding to your social media post on buying used car makes him a customer. Just because he does not have a solid transaction with one of your product advisors does not define him as not a customer which he was labeled to by one of your product advisors. My dad was in no way disrespectful to Cel De Leon and was simply inquiring about your services since she was promoting about buying used vehicles on social media. I have screenshots on my phone of her posts and how she responded back to my dad to prove this. Your line of work is dealing with people and if you don't know how to deal with potential customers, we can always bring my dad to another dealership who can handle my dad's inquiries and questions with respect and professionalism which you obviously lack. Please keep in mind the actions of your employees promoting the services of your dealership on social media reflects the values of your company. Your product advisors represent your dealership and your company; and if you do not treat your potential customers with respect, you will definitely lose business.

I came in September 22, on my way home from signing away my old car for scrap, unrepairable. I decided on a lark to visit, and was introduced to Robert. Far from the annoying and pushy salesmen I am used to dealing with and loathe, he was very friendly and genuinely helpful in finding me a new car that suited all of my needs, all of my wants, plus a little more, all within my price range. I am incredibly pleased with the service I received here, which made me feel like I'd been a customer for years, and will gladly send my friends and family here for their car needs.

You brace yourself going into a car dealer. Prepare mentally for the oncoming “pushy salesmen. ” And then… they don’t come. Instead, you get friendly person who don’t try to “push” anything on you. She’s helpful. She listen. She’s accommodating. She’s professional and very knowledgeable with their products. That was my experience with Cel de Leon. I highly recommend her. Wanted to give a shout out to Dave Moran at Canyon Creek Toyota for being our Go-To guy for car purchases. We have been dealing with Dave for about 20 years and have just recently purchased our THIRD vehicle from him! When Dave sold us our Toyota Sienna back in the stroller/soccer days, he impressed us with his honesty and customer care, and we have kept in touch ever since. The result is we have always come back to Dave when looking for our new family vehicle! And he has NEVER disappointed. Just bought a Camry from Canyon Creek Toyota, although that was not the first time I bought a car, but I felt really happy making a very good choice. Everyone (including Mark, Naveed, Shaiful and even the lady at the front desk who I didn't get to know the name) provided me such not only professional but also customer oriented services. Commitments have been made, and have been delivered in a timely fashion, explanation was clear and loud. **update so even a few more months, bluetooth problems are still there and still not resolved (been to the shop about 5 times, seems like it's a problem with the defective device) BUT I must say the dealership and our service advisor is really stepping up to try and help us. More updates to follow.

*update, 5 months later.the problem is still not fixed, but they seem to be really trying to fix it, seems more like a Toyota issue, not a dealer issue

We Bought a used vehicle. Sales guy was pretty good.

The shop did not do a proper inspection vehicle was missing emergency items (jack and wrench) I recommend the sales but the service is not that good.

We are still struggling with a Bluetooth that is troubled. The bluetooth keeps dropping the phones. When and if it is resolved I may change my review.

Dave Moran from the sales team made purchasing my 4runner a breeze. Worked with me on the price without any unnecessary pressure and was even able to get my vehicle in 2 weeks before it was supposed to arrive. He’s always there to answer the phone anytime if you have any questions after you drive off the lot. Great service. Everyone at canyon creek was super friendly and easy to work with.

We drove home with our 2021 4runner limited and I would like to say that my husband and I have been wanting one for years. We visited this location 2 years ago to look at one, however, at the time we were not ready to pull the trigger just yet. The experience we had 2 years ago was fantastic. Fast forward to this month, we were finally ready. We were referred to different dealerships but didn't receive the same level of service but were looking to find the best rate offered to us. I would also like to add that the other other dealership had told us that the one we were looking for was sold out everywhere and would take 10 weeks if we ordered one. We continued shopping around and long and behold, Canyon creek had 1 black limited with redwood interior - the EXACT one that we wanted. We went to the dealership and was offered the best service by Matthew, Mark and Shaiful. Even the receptionist was kind and polite. They were all very informative, helpful and offered us the best rates we found. Being in the luxury customer service industry myself, it is near to impossible to find people who truly take the time to help and fully inform their guests especially on big investments like this. You guys are doing it right as a unit and I truly hope that you continue to be as successful in all aspects of your business. The first time I went there, I had a lot done and was both pleased with the quality of work, and the final bill, which was half of what I expected.
My second trip was to check the front end, and they did so promptly, test driving it, let me have a look, and assured me all was well. They then washed my car and told me there was no charge!

I had a poor experience at this location, after taking my car in to have the tires balanced twice they told me nothing was wrong despite the shake persisting, so I took my car to their sister location Southpointe Toyota where I spent double the cost getting a diagnostic to find out that the tires were out of balance which they very quickly fixed. Do not waste your time at this location, as when I questioned my service rep about it he got upset and questioned my ability to assess my vehicle.after upscaling to the manager and making it clear I did not feel comfortable taking my car back to that location and I wanted a refund, I was instead "credited" an amount below the cost that I was only able to redeem at his location. DO NOT RECCOMEND.

I just recently purchased a vehicle, on a referral from a family member that has previously purchased a vehicle through Dave Moran at Canyon Creek Toyota. Although I live out of province he was super helpful and answered all my questions, able to help me find the right vehicle for me, and also went above and beyond when I was having issues with service Ontario he called them up and got things straightened out. It goes to show that you just need to find the right person to help you find the right car and that you do not have to stay in province to find them. I am very happy with my purchase and have all of my family members jealous of my new ride!

Very disappointed. I asked about the history of a car, the dealer said there were no accidents. I checked car fax and it said there were 2! Major accidents. Asked again, told me there was no accidents again but now says there is some hail damage. I confronted about the accidents for the third time and they admit that it was in two accidents but refuse to explain the accidents. The dealer was also unprofessional.
I explained that I didn't appreciate how he was lying to me and he admitted he was lying and 'understood' that his lying and cheating was what made me not want the vehicle.

We have owned Toyota vehicles for a long time, and it was time to retire one of them (moment of silence for my van). Matthew Gralewski was a great help and support in helping us navigate our needs, wishes, and wants. Ultimately, we purchased a used vehicle that fit our budget and long term plans/hopes. I was looking to buy another Toyota car. I tried several options including non-Toyota dealerships and privately, but none worked. When I came to Canyon Creek Toyota - there was a vehicle I wanted to look at. Matthew (the product advisor), gave me a good trade-in value and a very good deal on the vehicle I wanted. The deal was really good - this dealership takes it beyond the minimum safety inspections and Carfax - they repair items that need to be repaired before you buy it - 100% worth it - the vehicle I got was safe to drive, fully mechanically inspected and repaired on their account. Which is not by default in other Toyota dealerships - I had a case where one of them tried to sold me an oil leaking vehicle and a car that won't even start, another one get me sneaky answers, when asked about the mechanical inspections - so not all the dealerships are the same. Canyon Creek was different - I was really pleasantly surprised, about all the inspections and mechanical service done to the car before I took it. Thumbs up to Matthew - the product advisor - the way he handled the trade-in and the buying process was as short as one day (needed that - was tight in time), and he managed it really well, with emphasis to human factor - things went easy, no hidden meanings and simple - straight forward and professionally. Very positive experience.

I bought a 2012 Rav4 Limited a few months ago and couldn't be happier, the car is in immaculate condition thanks to the work they did, and there have been zero issues since purchasing. I want to thank Matthew Gralewski for his no-pressure sales approach, being very polite, and quick to answer my many questions before and after the sale!

I was provided with false information by someone in the service team. I was skeptical of the advice and ended up getting a second opinion. Turns out my brake fluid wasn't leaking, and I've driven many thousands of km's since then without an issue. There was an engine problem as well (can't recall the details) which I was advised by my other mechanic to ignore. Car is running great with ~320k at present.

I always feel a little ripped off getting any services done there. They give me a price, I sign off on it and then suddenly there are hidden extras and it's $50 more. I used to take my Venza, stopped after the hidden charges, went back years later (most recently today) and once again not happy about the expensive bill for simple work. Will be going back to my usual mechanic.

They sold me a broken truck. I heard a weird noise coming from the engine the night I picked it up and brought it in to get diagnosed a couple days later and they couldn't figure it out. Had to leave town for work back East and took it into a Toyota dealership and long story short it needed a new engine. Covered through warranty. But they sold the truck in a bad state and didn't even cath the problem in their diagnosis of the truck. Why did I catch the problem and not the mechanics?
Then they put tires on it that were sitting in the shop from 2013 and because they were old tires they cracked after 2500km's and I needed too buy new tires to get it safetied in another province. For the price you pay for Toyota vehicles you'd think they'd equip you with tires that last longer than 2500km's and will pass any out of province inspection. Also, for the price tag of their vehicles you'd expect to buy properly working vehicles not broken ones. And they wen weren't even apologetic about the situation after I contacted them.

I purchased my Corolla from canyon creek because of the service that Dave gave me. As a young single mom I was intimidated at the thought of going into a dealership and being taken advantage of. I was so wrong. Dave not only treated me with dignity and respect but he didn’t talk down to me like other older men at other dealerships have. He explained everything to me so that I could understand but did not feel dumb. He was professional and was excellent with my two young kids who were with me. If I had to say the number one reason why I tell everyone to go but from Dave Moran at Canyon Creek is because he was genuine and cared about getting me into a vehicle that was safe, reliable and within my budget not based on how much commission he would make. As long as there are Daves at Toyota I will always buy Toyota.

Just picked up my 2018 Tundra today, and man what a truck! Actually the whole experience at Canyon Creek was awesome! I dealt with Myron Darr and he promptly answered all my questions was very attentive to my wife and 2 young kids, basically went above and beyond anything that was expected, made it a very good car buying experience! What can I say. I come from a proud family of toyota drivers. There are 7 drivers in our family and each and every one of us drive a toyota. Our go to man is Dave Moran. We can not say enough amazing things about him. He knows his stuff and wants the best for his customers. He listens to what you say and helps to match you to the best options. I can’t be that mean.

Here is the journey though.

Before Canyon Creek Toyota had my money I was treated first class.
- quick email responses
- text access to a sales rep
- follow up calls and verifications from the the sales rep and another dealership rep

After Canyon Creek Toyota had my money I felt treated like a second class citizen.
- slow or no responses (whether by email or phone call)
- Literally transferred from one person to another and no one ever seemed to care enough or take responsibility to truly help on more then one occasion.
- The positive helpful attitude transformed into more of a nuisance feeling.

Why the huge change from massively available pre sale to incredibly time consuming to get an type of traction after sale?

On top of this, I paid extra for paint protection and undercoating protection. After picking up my vehicle the paint protection seemed like a glorified wax job I could have done in an hour or two by myself that cost me $300-400 and the advertised thick black underbody coating was spotty and thin and not what was purchased.

Had I have known these were the outcomes I wouldn’t have spent the extra money.

The car has been great. It's just the other stuff that keeps trust high that fell short.

Maybe I’m missing something. But since we inked the deal and my money was contracted to you Canyon Creek Toyota it seems I became a non priority customer.

How come?

Maybe this is a one off experience. Maybe I wasn't paying as much attention. No business is perfect.

I'm just a disappointed and hope this feedback is received in order to improve the customer experience for future customers.

I wish I could give 0 stars. Every booked appointment I've made has been dropped or is hours late to start without the courtesy of communicating that information. Their Service Department didn't bother verifying they had the parts required to service my vehicle until after I showed up even though I made the appointment a month prior. My sale experience was no better as the sale associate made it abundantly clear his greatest concern was earning his commission. I would recommend going literally anywhere else.

Excellent experience and incredible value! Free oil changes, extended warranty and lots of add ons for a very competitive price. All the staff was great to deal with: Drew, Norm and Kelly were extremely attentive in ensuring we got everything we needed for our two Tundras.

I don’t like leaving negative reviews but overall I had a pretty mediocre experience at Canyon Creek Toyota. It ended up OK but was sure frustrating along the way.

Of the few phone calls I had to make, wow were the staff ever unenthused and even rude. It gave me no desire to go there but I pushed through since I’d already booked my appointment.

Second, they were just not as competitive as any other tire place (Canadian Tire, Kal-Tire, Costco) when it came to warranty/service so instead of having all my work done there I’ve ended up getting my tires elsewhere.

Then, when my wife showed up for our appointment they claimed we had no appointment. After a bit of back and forth and defensiveness, finally the fellow agreed to try his best.

And at this point it finally got better. I have to give credit to the one guy, Lawrence, who stepped up, took responsibility on behalf of Toyota, and event went so far as to bring my wife in to look at the issue we were having. That really impressed me and I called him back to than him later.

All in all, aside from Lawrence, I don’t feel I have any reason to choose this place to do any service in the future. I might, but it’s definitely something I would think about first. I’m surprised that in an industry with so much competition, I was getting pretty consistently unethused and even rude service.

Sorry CCT, but you texted me and asked me for a review one day after this experience!

I've had rough experiences with dealerships in the past. Either the salespeople were too pushy, or I felt like I was being taken advantage of. Not here. I felt like I was listened to. They were generous with what they offered. When a recent accident caused some bumps in the paperwork, they were very helpful in getting things squared away. We're very happy with not only the process, but the two vehicles we now have. Thanks!

After recently moving back home to Ontario we found we needed a new car. Dave Moran has always been our go to guy at Canyon Creek Toyota. So we again decided to have Dave look for a car for us even though he is in Calgary. Lo and behold he found us just what we were looking for. We are buying this car knowing that he has given us ALL the info on it and that it gets his stamp of approval. Not only did he get us a great price, he is arranging for it to be shipped to us. Great work Dave.

Exceeds Expectations! Drew, went above and beyond to make sure that I will choose the right vehicle that I will be comfortable with and exactly the right one for me. He gave all the options and suggestions which I think all the buyers should know. The process of buying a new car was absolutely painless, and went smooth, I would strongly recommend Drew to anyone who is looking for a new/used vehicles! And thank you as well for Shaiful (finance manager) for making things possible so as to make the buyers a happy and satisfied buyer:) more power guys!

Very pleasant experience overall with the sales process. I would like to give a rating of 10/10 for Sharafat Ali who helped me find my desired car. He went above and beyond my expectations. The only issue I had with was the financial service person who submitted my application for loan approval. The worst service I ever had in my life. Her name is Jomana LeClercq. She was very pushy to upsale me some services which I politely said ‘No need’ in our first meeting. When I went to pick up my car she again started the same pushy sales techniques on me which I gently refused. She even brought another person to convince me to agree and take the offer which I again refused. After failing to convince me with several attempts; her true face came up when she started to take on my 5 year old son who was very active in nature. She started to tell him not to play around and be quiet even though I was telling my son to be quiet most of the time. At one point I had to tell her that I have already told my son to be quiet and I would be happy if you don’t tell him anything directly. I feel some people should not be in the sales role if they can’t tolerate a 5 year old boy for 15 minutes in their office.

It was great to have Drew explain absolutely everything about my 2018 Highlander. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient and pleasant. On my first visit to Canyon Creek Toyota, my son and I met with Kang and the manager, Norm who laid the groundwork for my purchase of a vehicle. Both were very knowledgeable. We returned to Canyon Creek Toyota several days later after looking at other dealerships. Norm was not there, but Mike (a manager) took great care of us and completed the deal. He was very pleasant and professional and answered all of our questions. After I made the decision to purchase the 2018 Highlander, we were sent upstairs to meet with Shaiful, who explained all of the programs (rust proofing, undercoating, extended warranty, Smart Program, accessories, bill of sale). He did a great job, but I was so exhausted I needed overnight to think. The next day, I contacted Shaiful and made the decision to purchase all of the programs.as Shaiful said “to protect this beautiful new vehicle”. I am happy that I made that decision and did not feel pressured in any way.

The guys treated us extremely well at Canyon Creek Toyota. Our meeting with Drew before driving the Highlander home was very positive. He encouraged us to call him anytime we have questions.

I purchased our new Sienna from Canyon Creek Toyota. Eric my sales representative was excellent! I never felt pressured and even though I asked a thousand questions he patiently answered all of them. I returned to Canyon Creek Toyota multiple times as I worked through my decision and when it came time to make the purchase I was introduced to Norm - the sales manager. Norm walked me through various options available to purchase our new van. Again - no pressure! I am really happy about how they treated me. I am now sitting in our brand new Toyota with a big smile on my face! Thank you Eric and Norm for the awesome treatment you gave me!

The Canyon Creek Toyota Team are exemplary. They are fast, professional and highly efficient. Our family has purchased 3 cars from them in the last 11 years, and have used them exclusively for service. The service department especially has always gone above and beyond in their service - their mantra has always been not to just meet expectations, but exceed them. It truly says something about a company in this day and age when you drop off your car.and they greet you by your first name. On every level, I would recommend Canyon Creek Toyota.

UPDATE: I purchased a new Rav in the spring, and I absolutely love it. The whole Toyota team helped me out, and Dave Moran (my sales rep) was fantastic. Thorough, knowledgeable and passionate about what they do and how they can help, I will always go to Canyon Creek!

My salesperson was extremely knowledgeable about the vehicle I was interested in and was able to clearly explain the different trim levels. He listened to my needs and did not try to upsell accessories that I did not need. The manager and other personnel were very helpful and friendly. I'm very happy with my purchase and the service that I received from the Canyon Creek Toyota location!

My number one place to go for any of my vehicle needs. Lawrence in service is absolutely amazing. He goes over and above all the time. He is honest with what needs to be done and with what can wait on regards to service. Go see him!
