The theatres themselves are only alright but the concession is amazing. They also have a pretty good selection of movies.

Good: Less expensive, few people in the theater, have older and second run movies options
Bad: Less movie watching experience. (audio quality, people keep open door or talking while movie is playing)
Please consider to make a video playing before the movie telling people to be quite and close their cellphone while watching movie.

Less than $10 for a movie ticket and a decent sized bag of popcorn. What else could you ask for?

What my family and friends call the "cheap theatre". Tends to show movies from about a month or two ago, food is very cheap. Where it would normally cost 30+ dollars per person at larger cinemas, you can get a ticket, food, and drinks for about 10-15 dollars. They also will show classic movies, as far back as the 60s

First of all I love this theatre. It's affordable and comfy. I lost my wallet and when I came to see if it had been turned it it hadn't but then Genesis brought me to the theatre and he and Brooklyn helped me look until Brooklyn spotted it. Made my day!

Charming, great staff, cheap prices, tons of movies. And they screen old classics! It's nostalgic and makes me feel like a kid again to go here, right down to the carpeted floors and neon signs.

This theatre is just so warm and cozy. A really nice place to enjoy a movie once in a while

I love going here for movies. All movies are $5 everyday and the food options are much better than what you'd find in a mainstream theatre.

Awesome food and drink selection. Older facility but clean and well kept. You can't beat the price!

I attended the Drive-in with my kids and loved it! Food was great! There were a few people that wouldn't turn off their lights even when the staff came and asked them to but it wasn't bad.

I saw a post that said NONE of the parking crew were wearing masks, but that had to have been just a slip because the 3 that were out when we were in line ALL were wearing masks and only put hands in a car if it was to put food order numbers on the dashboards because it was raining and I imagine the wipers were preventing them from putting them on the windshield.
When I took my son in to use the washroom and get more candy, there were no other customers inside and the staff seemed to only have masks pulled down if they were sitting and resting. I was actually impressed with their adherence to the "rules".

Great service, great times. The drive in movie was so fun and I am so glad they are at least able to do that. I love CMC and can't wait until they reopen.

First Drive-In of the season. Literally started celebrating my daughters 17th birthday with the start of Fast and Furious 5 and she will end her birthday watching Rocky Horror Picture Show tomorrow.

I was super impressed with the organization of entrance and exit. Great quality on the visuals and audio.

EDIT: Previously given 2 stars for mask compliance, I have revised my review after speaking with Natalie, she promised moving forward mask compliance would be top tier. I look forward to coming again!

Great theatre! Affordably priced admissions and concession. They aren't the swankiest, but they'll show things long after larger cinemas have dropped them, and have a larger film rotation.

Love how this place has all the cheap movies that are leaving theaters, great way ro watch it for cheap, only thing is it's far away

Nice inexpensive place to take the family for a movie. The even have refills on large popcorn an pop. But could use a good cleaning.

This theatre is quite amazing as the admission is cheap and the concession is priced respectively. Not expensive, but worth every penny. Some people complain about the fact that the movies here are older, but I feel like that is made up for by the low admission prices. This is by far my favorite theatre in Calgary and I would recommend it 10/10

A feel of 1980s when you are in this theatre. You get the cheapest deal here any day.a best place to take your kids on a week night.

Everyone loves this place, because who doesn’t love a $5 movie night? I frequent Canyon Meadows Cinema quite a lot because it’s quiet and is kept quite clean. Perfect for a really affordable date night.

Keep in mind they do not allow backpacks or large bags in.
