I came in to get my favourite cowboy boots repaired. The pull tabs on the boots had a tear, I was very impressed by his work.

I hadn't been to Canyon Meadows Shoe Repair for awhile. I came in hoping to get the zipper fixed on my daughters Shedrow riding boot bag. Sam was amazing, super friendly, fixed the zipper on the spot by putting on a new slider, which was greatly appreciated given she would need it tomorrow. He even showed me a better way to open the boot bag to avoid damaging the slider again. He said we should push down on the zipper not pull it away from the boot bag. I wouldn't hesitate to get anything fixed here. 5 stars, also nice renovations, very neat and clean. Thanks Sam, Greatly appreciated!

New owner is super kind and is an excellent craftsman. He was so great with my young daughter asking him all sorts of silly questions. This is the local shop you want to support!

I was very surprised when I went in the other day - new ownership!
The previous owner retired and I guess that is fair enough when you're 80 years old!
I had always received fast courteous excellent service in the past, and I am delighted to say that I received fast courteous and outstanding service on this visit

I have been a customer two times before. The owner gave good customer service to me then. However, I went to him today with my daughter’s suitcase that needed a zipper repair, and also one exterior top corner that needed reinforcement either by sewing or taping. He told me that he could not use the original zipper pull and that he would have to use a smaller one to fix the zipper. I agreed with that if it was the best way possible. Then, the owner became extremely rude and suddenly, with a great condescending tone, said “No, I can’t fix it – go buy a new suitcase! ” I was taken aback. I told him that the only other thing I needed was for the one upper exterior corner to be repaired, which had been previously taped by a now defunct business. He refused to listen to anything I had to say but instead said that he would not fix it because he had too much other work to do and that he wouldn’t even fix it for $1000! His tone was very mean and nasty! He then told me to leave and not waste his time and that he had to sweep his floor and that I was in the way! I tried to ask him if he could recommend someone else that I could go to for repairs. He said loudly, “No, and do not waste my time and go away now! Just go buy a new suitcase and don’t waste my time! Leave now! ” Someone so nasty to customers should not have a business dealing with people. I very strongly do not recommend dealing with this person! I had to place a star, but I really wanted to give a negative star rating. I am a retired senior citizen and I was cordial during the whole time of his ranting.

Extremely disappointed.very poor workmanship.basically ruined a pair of SAS shoes.loose stiches, certainly not a professional repair.
Also demanded CASH up front, no cards, no gst, no interact, no paperwork. Would never go back. Turned something functional into now "garden shoes" should have never left my shoes there.
