Capital Pizza and steak house

Pizza and decor is classic from the 70's with lots of toppings and thick, crispy crust. This time however the crust was raw on the top in the middle. When I mentioned to the server she said she would tell the kitchen, then avoided us until it was time to get the bill. I have had very good pizza from here, but this wasn't their best day.

The club sandwich was crispy and tasty. The toss salad was super good with the house dressing. It really stole the show

It was my first visit to this place and i was impressed very friendly staff service was quick and food was delicious even though it was decently bisy at the time i was there and our party was a fair dize i deffenatley would recomend and would go back they also have great specials everyone at our table really enjoyed the food and the people even the manager/owner welcomed and thanked us for coming and being there

We ordered out instead of eating in. The pizza is really, really good; best I have had in quite a while.

The food was decent, I had the spaghetti and meat sauce, our server was friendly, the decor is a little old and the seating is a bit uncomfortable. The price is quite reasonable tho.

Food was awsome. Order the donair pizza. Single one. And i had chicken cordon blue and ceasar salad to start. Service was awsome too

Enjoyed my rib steak. Good salad and veggies. Friendly professional service. This is a good local restaurant.

Every dish was packed full of cheesy goodness. The spaghetti & meatballs, as well as the lasagna and pizza, were delicious

We went in on Labour Day for supper. We ordered pizza, lasagna, burgers etc. Everyone enjoyed their food, and liked the restaurant, as ot was our girdt time in. Portions were generous, food was fresh and well prepared. Service was good as well. I found the pizza sauce a bit sweet, but we are on a low sugar routine at home. The A/C was a bit cold, that was my only complaint. Would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I celebrated 300 days sober yesterday. YES! So I wanted to treat myself to a nice, thick, juicy (rare) steak. And that's exactly what I got! It was so delicious!

The steak came with mashed potatoes with gravy on them and cooked carrots. The side dish was a Caesar salad which was very tasty as well.

Two thumbs up to the beautiful lady that took my takeout order.:)

When we are in St Albert, it's a non-negotiable, We are going to Capital. Pizza, pasta, and an amazing burger, too.

Phenomenal! I wish there was a more-than-five-star review! The BEST PIZZA I’VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE! Unbelievable! Just ordered the regular ham, pineapple and fresh tomatoes but it came really loaded. We ordered the large but between two people, could only eat half. Makes pizza from anywhere else look pathetic! Service was very good too.

Food was a little on the salty side but hey, some people like that. Pizza was fantastic though. Will be ordering our pizza from there.

Clean and friendly. Good food. Ugly and lacking decor and horrendous booths (the bench seats are way too far from the back of the seat and force you to slouch - unless you're 7 feet tall).

Capital Pizza has the best Pizza and Pasta! I usually get the meat Lasagna with extra Cheese but recently discovered they have amazing Alfredo Sauce so now it's going to be a toss up!

The food was good, except we got a different pizza then what we had ordered. The waitress asked me if I was sure 3-4 times. We had to ask for our drinks to be refilled. We paid for a pop with refills included. We were lucky to get one refill.
The pizza’s were really good, but sadly the bad service outweighed the good food. They weren’t even busy…. There was us and 3 other tables and 2 waitresses. If they were busy then I could understand but they weren’t. Prob wouldn’t go back unless it was take out, but we don’t live in St. Albert so that won’t happen.
The waitress also went to put the bill on the table and asked us if we wanted the machine? She didn’t even put the bill down for us to see. Went and got the machine, punched in a total and gave it to us to pay! Nope never again.

I haven't been there for years and had forgotten how good the food is. Buy far one of the best pizzas I've had. All our meals were excellent. Highly recommend this great place.

I ordered a donair pizza, it was excellent. I am sure that I'll order another from here soon, it was better than Nitza's.

The interior was open and welcoming. It had a really friendly vibe to it, like, it felt as if it were a cozy small-town pizza parlor.

This location has an old school atmosphere. It's very open it's clean and bright. I'd never been here before but surprisingly we showed up with a large group of about 30 people. There was minimal staff at work and they were able to turn out the food in excellent time. The server was wonderful, warm and welcoming. Very attentive and really hustled to make sure the entire restaurant was taken care of because there was not only us there's other guests as well. I am Celiac as many of my readers know and this location does serve a gluten-free crust that is very good. The toppings were excellent lots of cheese and deliciousness just the way I like it. I would highly recommend Capital pizza and Steakhouse to anyone that wanted to get a really good meal.
