Capital Pizza & Steak House

Ordered through Skip the Dishes. Ordered Carbonara. Used processed ham slices cut up for the ham. Meal filled the hole-that’s it. Also ordered spaghetti and meat sauce. Very little sauce and it was lasagna noodle. Again filled the hole but certainly nothing to be proud of. Also sent no forks.won’t order from here again unless I’m desperate

I ordered a capital special pizza. It was loaded and had shrimp on it. The shrimp were rotten. They had gone bad and were likely defroster before. I called the location and asked for a manager and was told he went home. I told the woman the issue about the shrimp. Apparently the cook told her the shrimp were from the freezer and were good. They were not. They stunk and smelled very fishy and after eating a couple I had a tin taste in my mouth. The woman at the restaurant started laughing at me and told me I didn’t know about shrimp. Horrible service. Horrible experience. Will never order there again

Coors Light and Canadian are pouring really bad and foamy in the bar. Probably could use a professional line cleaning. No Rickard’s Red on tap at this one today.

Pizza is good very cheesy and a little less toppings compared to the other location. Cooked better i figure tho.

They seem to have overstocked containers and stuff lined all the way to bathroom from
Bar. Hallway is half the size with kegs and bottles lining the hall. Bar area has a section devoted to pizza boxes and coffee. And take away containers.

Quiet bar for sure if you like peace and quiet perfect spot for an afternoon pizza.

Can’t say enough good about this Capital location. Pizza is Amazing. I’m a picky eater but there pizza delivers beyond anyone expectations. I have never had a bad meal here and find I keep going back (like every two weeks) for pizza! The staff are always very pleasant, welcoming and Great at their job. We love this place as it’s not a typical chain and cares about their customer and quality. Thank you capital for providing a place with the best pizza ever and that’s still affordable.

My family and I were wanting to try Capital Pizza since it’s so close to home, so we ordered a couple of pizzas and little to say but we will be ordering from here again! The pizza was so good, the best I’ve ever had, and the service was also amazing! We will likely try other items from the menu at some point too!

Went to try their baked salmon. Most of the fish was cooked but the rest was runny pink and raw.

Pizza was 2 out of 10, the three Poutines were 1/2 full and fries under cooked with some real salty gravy. The $30 sample box (6-7 onion rings, 5 deep-fried pickle, 2 shrimp, 6 PC mystery meat and 1 BBQ tiny rib) was a soggy mess. This was over $100.oo meal. Very disappointed!

Ordered a pizza with added green peppers for 3.50$.

These guys shaved a few slices of raw peppers and put them in a foam container.

Not in the pizza, not cooked.

When called the girl said why ordering through their website it says on the side, when looking at my order no where does it say that.

Why would anyone want raw shaved peppers on the side.

Stay away from this place.

Good food, service is good, chairs and seat coverage need big time attention, you can only milk the cow so far.

These guys really fell off hard. You are better off going to paninis on jasper or the original location on 144 ave. Poor value and dine in is really bad service.

We ordered from here through door dash and just like a previous review the pizza in the middle was completely raw. Super disappointing for $50

There are apparently several different locations for this particular steak house and we were invited by some friends that were familiar with the place. My companion and I shared a Chicken Taco salad that was distinctly large enough to share and some wings. Our friend's meals were large enough to take home in doggie bags so I was kind of impressed with this restaurant. I cannot comment on the actual meals other than our friends frequent this restaurant and my impression was good with our meals

It was clean and the decor was sort of family friendly type decor, Seemed to be family owned (I didn't ask) but I will safely recommend trying this restaurant and I give it a high 3 star rating simply because it is not like a high end eatery. It is just a good place to go.

Always see friendly and accommodating staff and owners. The pizzas and lasagna are second to none.

Always great fresh food, portions ate large, spacious comfortable booths to relax and catch up with a friend for lunch. Service was attentive. Restaurant was clean. Ordered takeout during covid, was nice to be back to dine in.

Just spent 60.00 on pizza from this location and the two pizzas had barely any sauce whatsoever. Called and was put through to the “cook” who told me he put sauce on and proceeded to hang up on me. Not impressed. Won’t be going back.

I've had two bad experiences both ordering large orders for my family -6 members 120$+ and none of them being happy with there meal the last time I went back to return it voicing all there vaild concerns cold poor quality food and some things completely wrong like there salad, the manager comes to talk with me comes off completely rude arguing with me I was so caught off gaurd he got so heated himself when I started listing there dislikes he wouldn't come back and sent a employee to give me a 50$ refund on meals we didn't like and fully returned it cost me 130$ I felt totally robbed. I even tipped them a 20 when I left the first time not expecting to have to return my food

I love this place. Pizza like no other. Full of cheese and toppings it will fill you up. Fries are amazing as well. Salads are big and great. Pasta big helpings and really good you won’t be disappointed at this restaurant, only full the price is right, oh let’s not forget the burgers and wings and nachos are filling and flavourful. Staff are nice and friendly and professional. Hungry there’s takeout delivery and sit in. Bar on one side to watch game or restaurant on other. It’s always a good time

Raw pizza! I paid a premium price for raw dough! Went back with the pizza to show them and the woman server became argumentative and refused to refund or replace my two pizzas. She refused to let me talk to the manager. Worst restaurant experience I’ve had. Save your money and go to Papa John’s across the street.

Always friendly GREAT food and just a nice neighborhood restaurant. One of my favourites. And the only place I’ll eat pizza

Just spent $60 for raw pizza. The dough and toppings were raw in the middle. Took it back to the restaurant. Server argued it was cooked and implied we were trying to get free pizza. She refused to refund the cost and replace the pizzas. After much arguing and debate (she still insisted the pizza was cooked) she agreed to make one medium pizza. It was more raw than the original pizza. Her unwillingness to listen and acknowledge the facts left me so unsettled that I will never return or recommend this restaurant. If you’re looking for a premium pizza go to Royal Pizza. At least you get a cooked pizza and a value for your dollar. Very disappointing.

This restaurant has gone downhill - both because of poor service and because the food quality isn’t there anymore. Very dissatisfied with my last meal there.

Nice Dinning space. It's a popular place for family dining. They have helpful service staff to take care customers.

Went today for lunch, ordered Salt&Pepper Wings. Was very delicious. I can't remember what sauce the waitress gave me.

Also had an Ice tea. Decent price

Second time at the Belle rive location in the last month or so, first time was very disappointing with service/ food, thought we would try again hoping new staff had caught on. Wrong. Server had no idea about specials, slow to take our order, quite busy chatting with customers at the bar. We ordered salad to start and a pizza to follow, after about 20 min we inquired about the salad, she had clearly forgotten to place the order. Salad came out with the pizza and was obviously put together in a hurry. Looking for a new location now.

The staff is amazing very polite and friendly first time going there and their pizza is one of the best I've ever had.

I eat in this nice place often! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place at least once a month. The food is very tasty, the workers are friendly and the charge is reasonable. I like eating in this restaurant to have a decent dinner.

Mozza sticks were all hollow every one of them
Shrimp in a basket had SHELLS on it still!
Ordered pickles they forgot them.

For $114 - not acceptable

Belle Rive Capital Pizza has the best pizza, food and friendly service, I highly recommend you try it!

I ordered 2 large pizzas from this location I asked that they cut the pizza in triangles instead of squares they said no problem. My fiancé went to pick it up and it was cut in squares on the bill it stated cut into triangles. So the waitress did her job but the cooks cut it wrong. So they told my fiancé that the pizza was cut wrong. The boss comes out and says they don’t cut the pizza that way. My fiancé said that’s why we asked specifically for it cut that way or we wouldn’t have ordered it from here. He then tried to blame the waitress who did her job and wrote it on the bill. We have had pizza from here many times and they cut it how I ask with out a problem. He then said “Don't ever order your pizza like that again”. He then yelled at the waitress when it want her mistake. He the. Said the waitress would have to pay for it. So my fiancé had to wait an extra half hour there and was offered nothing for there mistake. Will never be back to this location ever.

I love this restaurant! The pizza is so delicious, and the staff are very friendly and kind. They always strike up a conversation while waiting for your take out. One of my favourite pizza places, and I would recommend to anyone asking!

Best pizza in the city. Vlt machines seem to pay out regularly and the lounge is quiet and small just the way I like it.

The Spicy One and BBQ Chicken pizza were great. They mis-made one.but while remaking they threw in a complimentary Caesar salad. The pizzas are VERY cheesy, and the crust is nice and light. Their pizzas are cut in squares. Personal dislike.some corner pieces are all crust and no toppings (hence only 4 stars). We’ll be going back (and requesting triangle shaped slices!).

We like a lot going out. Last night we went to this fine place which friends recommended to us. We spent a lovely experience there with excellent dishes and a courteous crew and an impressive chef. We put this venue in our list and we shall surely come back very soon. Highly recommended.

Wow, terrible customer service. I am in shock. We ordered pizza and wings from here through skip the dishes and when it arrived there was a hair on our pizza and the tomatoes were yellowish green, almost brown. I didn't even know what the tomatoes were at first, I had to pick it off and look closely. We took the order back and the owner was extremely rude, starting yelling at us and blamed it on us for the hair. I get that we ordered through skip and have to go through them for the refund but they could have offered to make us a new pizza or something. Value of food was not worth $80. I will never order from here ever again.

Ordered dinner from this place tonight and it was so disappointing. I ordered pizza and wings my pizza had hair on it and when I went to return the food, the manager was so aggressive and accused me of putting the hair on the pizza. They refused to make new pizza or reimburse me. The staff didn’t have hair nets, gloves or masks on! I’m absolutely disgusted with how this place operates!

If I could rate lower than one star I would.worst customer service I have had.we recieved a pizza with a hair on it, brown tomatoes.and a wings with no sauce.when we went for a refund they said no and the "owner" got extremely mad said we put the hair on it.don't waste your time.

I get to eat here a lot since I work nearby. I must say the service is always awesome and they keep the place well kept regularly. Pricing is reasonable and they serve generous portions.

We arrived at this spot for a meeting.my friend recommended this restaurant. Well, we were not disappointed. The staff members were very polite and we had a great feeling. The meal was fresh and delicious. We loved this restaurant a lot and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Highly recommended.

This place has really gone downhill, $80 wasted. I suggest trying somewhere else. Which is unfortunate as this place use to be really great. Food quality isn’t what it use to be.

Food was fantastic. But I just waited 45 minutes to order a second drink from an uninterested server. I'm sure it will be fun trying to get the bill. Thankfully I'm not on a time limit today. Would try a different location next time.

I went to capital pizza and ordered the shrimp fettuccine and it was honestly the best pasta I've had. The shrimp was cooked perfectly and the sauce wasnt too heavy. The food and quick service make this restaurant 5 stars

The fried pickles were great as with the staff but there was so much cheese on the pizza and it made it hard to eat. I didn't complain at the restaurant because it wasn't that bad and again, the staff were great

Tried this spot already with a friend and I am obsessed ever since. I enjoy the fantastic atmosphere and flavorful dishes and drinks. 5 stars from me.

I just ordered some food and was super excited after reading the reviews, then my food arrived. Chunk of pinnaple on my donair pizza, now my boy cant have any due to allergies. Pizza was also pretty raw in the middle. Then i started getting a little picky, i can admit that, garlic toast only toasted on one side, and my ribs and everything box all tasted exactly the same, kinda like they dumped it all in the fryer together at the same time. I definately would not recommend.

The food was oke not special the service is very bad we had a waitress who was absolutely not friendly and not smiling at all!

I saw a recent post by someone who is attempting to speak for 30-40 people. I'm of the belief that we can only speak for ourselves. I've been going to this location for over 5 years and found it to be welcoming with the food delicious. Chou is like one of our own.

I cannot fathom how a restrant can serve wings that are dry and odd smelling for such a high price. It felt like I was eating 3 day old stale wings. The pizza was odd, sauce was sour and terribly greasy, did not taste like it was cooked properly. Over priced, gross food, slow service and overall disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone.

Famous for their pizzas. I companion said their Mediterranean lasagna was really good. I had the fish and chips as I was craving it. It does the job but you can definitely find better elsewhere. I also had the French onion soup which was really good. I would recommend it and would get it each time I return.

Wonderful wait staff, cold beer and delicious pizza with plenty of tvs to watch whatever sports game is playing. A real down to earth hole in the wall, it's not the largest or fanciest joint in town but it is a stellar neighbourhood restaurant.

3 slices of a tomatoe 2.50$ extras are way to expencive im already paying alot of money for the main meal the add on should be quit a bit less pricey one deep friedpickel is $12.50 outragious
