Ate way more than I should have. Food was amazing. Server was one of the best I've ever had.

Service was good, menu was different than the last time we visited for dinner, so we tried a few new items.
The vegetarian pasta was great, the pasta ragu was okay, nothing too crazy, and the desert selection seemed varied but wasn’t anything to write home about. Found that the tiramisu dust caused more than one of us to cough while trying to eat it. The appetizers were all really good!

Everything was great, and especially the service! One of the best we’ve visited in Calgary.

Enjoyable dining in a cheerful, cozy setting. The food quality is excellent, wine list is impressive and there are creative cocktails too. Very good service. Busy place so reservations would be a good idea.

Returned here after years. Definitely has changed. Food quality wasn't anything to match up to the price of the menu. Service was slow and portions to share were quite small.

Really disappointed with the Servers additude. It totally ruined our night. My boyfriend was so upset at how rude the waiter was that he went on and on and on about how mad he was for hours after we got home. Food is excellent but service was disappointing. We were out celebrating my birthday so was hoping to have a good experience like we have had in the past. My boyfriend is also telling everyone at his Engineering firm tomorrow to never go there.

Went there with a friend for dinner before a hockey game.

As of right now, The ability to park near the restaurant is painful with all the construction going on there.

Overall, the service was very good. Friend ordered carpaccio and the daily made bread. The carpaccio had great flavor and he couldn't stop raving about the butter that was served with the bread oddly enough. I had the calamari, and it was good, just not very different than any other place I have had it in. Friend said, "tastes like the Chinese place I go to"

He had the radiatori and I had the cioppino. They were both fairly good sized. So much so, my friend couldn't finish his dish. I completed mine, though, barely. Both of them was very flavorful and both of us enjoyed our dishes.

My only complaint was we were placed by the window and they had this large and bright neon sign hanging there. Just a little too bright. Otherwise, as reviewed the other things were very good.

We have always enjoyed Cardinale through the years, name and staff changes. Their food is consistently excellent, they have space between their tables and the sound level is much lower than most restaurants these days, so we can actually enjoy the evening and hear other people at our table.

If you can’t make your own pastas, and you live in Alberta, then the best you’ll get is at Cardinale.

Cannot say enough good things about this place.the food was delicious and the service was superb. 10/10 will be back and recommending this to anyone looking to try the best authentic yet innovative Italian food. The calamari was the best I've ever had. Thanks again!

Stopped in for dinner last night. Food was excellent and the staff were amazing as per usual. I recommend this place for anyone that loves great food and drink.

Great little place. We stumbled on it while trying to find a place to go before a concert at the Dome, and were pleasantly surprised. Great service, and the food was excellent. I'll definitely be coming back.

Was looking to book a special occasion reservation here for large group dinner. The male staff we spoke to over the phone was uninviting, rude and just poor communication etiquette. Didn’t get a chance to try food here and have no interest in trying again.

An upscale Italian style restaurant, reservations are advised. Great everything! Food and beverages were unique, ideal for the setting and as required dependant on the food item, the cooks and staff know what they are doing here. This coming from an Italian. Low lighting I thought in the back area, which was ok when the sun was out. I cannot overstate the excellent-ness of the (appies) and calamari. Daily made bread, yum. Service was on point and was always around the corner when needed Mains like the Cioppino and Casarecce Nero are great visual dishes. Menu is limited so you may want to peruse prior to booking. Disappointed there is no Italian ice cream on the menu which would have made our family outing/birthday diner perfect. I will be back.

Food was delicious! Service was excellent! And the interior is beautiful! I tried this place for the first time today and it is a new favourite already. The atmosphere is absolutely lovely. Will 100% dine here again and I highly recommend this place

Great food at a centrally located restaurant. Raina was very attentive. Loved the focaccia bread and the calamari especially. Brocolli Di Ciccio and Casarecce Nero delicious!
