CARSTAR Airdrie

My wife just had her car repaired only to find out that they didn't repair all the damage, they told our insurance company that they didn't think all the damage was caused in the same accident, they didn't contact us in anyway to let us know, so that we could explain what happened, they basically called us liers, then I look at the repair bill to see that instead of pulling the dented section they just filled it with bondo, which will crack and fall out over time, and I'm sure will not be covered under warranty. I will never do business with them again, and would recommend finding a better company to use.

Stopped by as a car sensor had fallen inside the bumper they repaired a few years ago- fixed it in 5 mins, and they discovered I’ve likely been hit by another car (unknown to us!). Thanks team!

Excellent customer service! They have went above and beyond for me. They’re always there whenever I call them for anything that goes wrong with my car. I called this morning, dropped off my car 20 minutes later. Short while later my door can open from the outside again! I would have been waiting 3 weeks to get into the dealership.

VERY LATE REVIEW.

Visited Carstar last May after the strong wind slammed my car door. It caused a dent and I just thought I'd passed by to ask how much it's gonna cause me if I'm gonna have it fixed. The first number made sense if they had to do it the way the guy explained it to me but I am soooo glad he gave me second option. Didn't took that long to fix my door and I went home super happy with the result. Customer service is on point and they have very friendly staff. Will surely recommend.

These guys were great to work with start to finish. After a third party damaged my SUV, and opted to pay out of pocket, these guys were awesome in helping us navigate the quote and payment between two separate parties. They were really flexible with the drop off dates due to not having a car to commute, and the car looked gorgeous when I picked it up. Freshly washed and even a detailing. The were recommended to me by the insurance company, but I wouldn’t hesitate to take my car there on my own dime if I needed to.

They know how to do a job right! Fixed all my dents, matched the paint precisely and actually surprised me with a FULL detail on top of it, free of charge! Thank you Airdrie Carstar, I will 100% be coming back and I'm also referring you to my network! ️ Job well done!

Called 10 times different days for someone to pickup - customer service is rude and they have no drop off box, they said literally “we are like a doctor so you can take time off work to come see us! ” Sorry doctor:) will find a place where people are nicer

Brought my car to get an interior and exterior detailing along with a shampoo. They even dropped it off when it was done. Car looked amazing and each staff member I worked with was quite friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Car Star Airdrie has exceeded my expectations for customer service and quality. We were in an accident, and the Manager Ossama identified damages that the other CarStar location missed, demonstrating his depth of knowledge and thoroughness. All while promising, and delivering the vehicle earlier than expected. To top it all off, his team also cleaned my car! If you have a choice to pick CarStar Airdrie, do it, not only will your vehicle get fixed faster, but it will exceed your your expectations in efficiency and quality

I took my car into this location the day I was rear-ended. They were quite pleasant at the time and after about an hour, I had my estimate and was booked in for about 2 weeks after, on a Monday morning first things. I was advised that I'd receive a call if the parts needed did not arrive in time. Between the accident date and appointment date, my mother passed away and I had to go back east (returned in time for the appointment though). On the Friday morning before I was due for my appointment, I called and left a message to confirm that the parts were in. No response back at all. Just before closing time that afternoon, I called back and was told "yeah, we'll have to cancel that appointment, we don't have the parts". Not sure when they planned on telling me this since I was due to drop it off when they opened on that Monday. The guy said he'd call me at the start of the week with an update. By mid-week I'd heard nothing so I called back myself. I was told that the parts were on order and they had no idea when the bumper would come in because there were none in stock and they had to build one for me. It could be 2-3 months, but they had no idea (at this point it had already been nearly a month). I asked if they could escalate this to Kia Canada since my bumper was literally hanging off / held on by duct tape. They advised me that they HAD done this. After waiting a few more weeks (again, zero contact from Carstar), I got fed up and talked to my insurance company who advised me to take it to another preferred repair shop in Airdrie. I took it to this shop and within 24 hours was advised that this bumper that was needed was indeed in stock with Kia Canada (3 of them, in fact!) and that it was being shipped and would arrive in 10-14 days. The other repair shop kept me in the loop the entire time and within less than 3 weeks of my first visit, my car was fixed. I'm still here 3 months later, waiting to see if anyone from Carstar will even bother to call me. No idea why Carstar was telling me my bumper had to be built when the other shop managed to find an OEM one direct from Kia in less than a day.unless they were trying to find an after market one? I'll never know, as nobody ever called me from there. Very disappointing indeed and would not recommend - have advised my broker of this situation as well as Allstate.

These guys are first rate and they take tremendous pride in their work. They also completely went the extra mile doing a little something extra I had asked them to do. Would highly recommend if you have an auto body repair. Mine was an insurance claim and it was absolutely flawlessly handled (they are an authorized TD Insurance repair shop).

Unfortunately I had a hit and run incident recently. The team at Carstar in Airdrie was very helpful and professional. Fast service! My car looks good as new and as an added bonus a full detail so the inside looks as great as the outside! I hope I never need them again

After a minor fender bender with our Infiniti Q50, we used Carstar for the quotation and repairs to the our car through our insurance company. Carstar was able to get us into their facility within a few days of the accident. They made sure that they performed a detailed inspection of the damaged areas and gave us all of the information related to the required repairs of our vehicle. Arrangements were made by Ruby at Carstair for us to get a loaner car through our insurance rental coverage. The correct parts were ordered and we were given a date for the repair. The drop off was very convenient and only taken moments. The repair time for the car was extremely fast and the quality of work was phenomenal. The car looked as new as it was driven off the show room floor. The exterior and interior was completely detailed and also have been professionally sanitized.
I would highly recommend taking your vehicle for repairs at Carstar Airdrie. They make it simple, provide excellent quality of work & service and also mostly important they get it done right!

I brought my car in for a detailing and to have some deep scratches buffed out. They were absolutely amazing! Everyone was so kind and helpful. My car after the detailing is immaculate! Unbelievably clean! Even the scratches are almost unnoticeable. I highly highly recommend this carstar!

CARSTAR AIRDRIE had our sons truck for 29 days and were supposed to repair the frame. We were quoted $3,100 to do repairs. They did not do any repairs. They did some measurements, however they were not asked to. After 29 days we get a call stating they cannot fix it. We went to pick up the truck and were told we owe $300 for the measuring. Why would we pay for something we did not ask for? Husband asked for keys back but they would not give them to him. They then locked my husband in their yard with our sons truck and would not let him out. He then had to climb the fence to get out. Very unprofessional and extremely sketchy. I do not recommend this company. On a side note a family friend had them appraise her Toyota Tundra after it had been in an accident and they said it was written off. They wouldn't give her the truck back so she said she needed to get somethings out of the truck and she then drove off with it. She took it to Sea Splash in Calgary and they repaired the truck under the cost that the insurance company quoted her. This is a very sketchy company. BEWARE! I had to put one star but i really don't want to give any stars.

My van passenger door get replaced with a new one has lot of defective spots talked to them to fix they told me cannot do anything for you.
Poor service and very bad finishing worst shop I have ever dealt with not recommended.

They detailed my car today for healthcare workers. Tina is absolutely amazing for helping arrange free car detailing for frontline workers and she was replying to my emails even at 1 in the morning! I was so fortunate to be able to take advantage of the healthcare promotion Carstar had for vehicle cleaning. I am a Registered Nurse working for AHS Community Care and my car is basically my office. With our workload increasing due to Covid, I have been putting my car through a lot, but giving it very little attention. Carstar did a full interior detailing with vacuuming and dusting, as well as a full exterior wash and shine! Thank you Carstar so much for giving my car the TLC it deserves, and for having a promotion recognizing the efforts of healthcare workers.

Had the van detailed and they did a great job! Was easy to book in, and was created with quick service and a smile! They completed the van in an hour and called as soon as it was done. Would highly recommend to anyone needing a really good detailing!
