TOTAL NIGHTMARE! I have worked in the auto industry for 20 years. Either they were constantly lying about the vehicle or they are completely incompetent. The insurance repairs should have taken 1 week, and between the wrong parts being ordered, and "Quality Control" the total repair took 4 months. Avoid this place like the plague!

Brought my car here since it was the closest bodyshop to our house.booking the appointment took about 3 weeks before the gave us a quote and another 3-4 weeks before the actual appointment.before booking the appointment for the repair i asked the receptionist how long would it take to fix it and they said because its an easy job it would take a whole day which is totally fine, and since it was just a day we opted out for the rental.a few hours after dropping the car they called back and said the car won't be done for another 3 days! Which is Ridiculous since all they have to do is replace is the side mirror casing.i told them that since we were told its just a day that i would like to pick up the car and will just bring it back on the day that they can get to it.the said no and that "production said it would be done by tomorrow". The following day heard nothing from them the whole day and by 4pm 1 hr before they close i decided to call and asked if the car would be done.they called their production again and by 420 they said to pick up the car in their OTHER location by 445.rushed to the other location was there before 4: 45 pm the staff in that location has no clue that i would be picking up they traced where the car is and they said its on the way on the fish creek location! But when they tried to call the guy who was supposed to be bringing the car to the fish creek location they found out he was just at the back all along. VERY INCOMPETENT FRONT DESK STAFF! VERY UNORGANIZED COMMUNICATION BETWEEN STAFFS! Would definitely not use this shop anymore in the future.

Unprofessional for the repair work and poor customer service for multiple followup request. I had a collision and was referred to this place. It was a nightmare and quite a bit of hair scratch. The repair work seemed good when I drove it home, until later I found out that the right door could not open from inside and there's noise from turning the wheel. The shop fixed the door in the 2nd visit, but advised that the noise is just tire noise. I took it back but could still feel the noise and it's getting worse. So I took it to the third party and confirmed the issue.
I called the shop and scheduled a 3rd visit. An elder technician test-drive again and concluded there is no issue and it's just tire noise. So I showed him the report from the third party. He got quite embarrassed so he called a younger technician next door from their partnership. The young technician test drove the car and easily identified the issue and confirmed there is damage. Things got sour from there. The senior technician tried to find every excuse to defence himself. It was unfortunate that the manager was misled. After the visit, I followed up 7-8 times in more than a month without a resolution. This was the worst service I ever had and it caused a lot of unnecessary anxiety and waste of my time. I eventually gave up with this shop.

I just had the passenger door window on our Audi replaced by the folks at Carstar on Bannister Road. What a great bunch of guys. Friendly and helpful along with better prices than a number of different glass replacement shops I called. They got the car in on the same day I called and back to me within a few hours, good as new. Nice little bonus was that they gave the car a clean up for us as well. Well Done!

Brought my car in for some touch ups and wrap. My car looks great and the service was excellent.

I recently took my vehicle to Carstar Fish Creek at the request of my insurance company. From beginning to end, the repair process was seamless. The staff are very friendly, and keep you updated on the progress of the repair every day. I was very pleased with all aspects of their business and would recommend them highly.

This is the 3rd time we have used Carstar and this location! Shout out to Crystal and Scott for going above and beyond to help make this experience perfect! Lots of things were 5 stars! Service - check, cleaning inside of vehicle - check, outside clean + polish - check!

The motto of CARSTAR is "Where accidents unhappen". Having used their services after a car accident in February 2019, I couldn't agree with this statement more. My 2018 Nissan Murano was rear-ended by a big pickup truck traveling at a high rate of speed. While it was fortunate that no one required immediate medical attention, the back of my Murano was in bad shape.

AMA Insurance sent me a list of authorized repair locations, and having used another CARSTAR location in 2018 for a minor repair, I knew they were a reputable company. AMA also told me that if the location at 15120 Bannister Road was a trusted repair partner, and as an AMA member, I'd get 50 AMA dollars if I used them for the repairs. As well, they would provide a lifetime warranty on any repairs as long as I owned the vehicle. These things made my choice easy.

Despite all this, repairing a vehicle after an accident is stressful. How long would it take? How easy would the process be? How could I coordinate the rental vehicle?

Crystal and Andrew at CARSTAR made everything so easy and stress free from the moment I dropped off my Murano to the time I picked it up. When I dropped off my Murano, they put my mind at ease by explaining the process and even called the car rental company to come pick me up. I received e-mail updates at every stage of the repair process, and Crystal called me when the repairs were completed. After only a week, my Murano looked like the day I brought it home from the dealership. CARSTAR even cleaned it thoroughly inside and out. Andrew showed me what was repaired and went over everything clearly, without rushing. I drove away knowing that the accident was a thing of the past and I could move on with my life.

Crystal and Andrew were lifesavers, taking all the stress out of the process. If you live in South Calgary, do not hesitate to go to CARSTAR Fish Creek for any and all repairs. And even if you're further away than South Calgary, it's worth the drive knowing your vehicle will be fixed right and you'll be treated like a valued customer.

My insurance company told me I could drop off my car without an appointment. When I showed up to CARSTAR they told me it's generally by appointment and they were booked up for that day. That's understandable, so I thought I'd have to come back, but the lady working there arranged to have another location tow my car, and tow it back, without any inconvenience to me. They then had Enterprise there within an hour. Overall, they offered great service and even gave the car a much needed detailing.

Excellent customer service. After getting into a collision back in December, I took my vehicle into Carstar for repairs and Crystal & Curtis were outstanding to deal with. My vehicle was ready within one week and looked like new. Crystal updated me everyday on what the status of repairs were via email, which was great. About 8 months later I noticed the paint on my bumper had started peeling off (the bumper was replaced at Carstar in December) so I popped by and had Curtis take a look at it. Within days I was booked in to have it replaced at no charge, and it was again, ready within a week. On both occasions my car was detailed very well both inside and outside. This level of customer service isnt easy to find when it comes to the auto industry - I highly recommend Carstar Fish Creek.

Well I can say that I will not be recommending this shop to anyone I know.

First off they ordered the complete wrong bumper for my car which I can understand happens but it shouldn't have happened. I told them two times that I needed the second version of the bumper and they confirmed with me that they did get the second version and yet they ordered the first version, so I had to wait an extra 4 days on-top of the regular 5 days for my car. I wasnt so mad about the bumper being wrong, I was mad I was lied directly to my face.

Second of all they use a paint marker to circle any damage on the car so they have it noted. In my case it was blue. Not only did they not wash off ANY of the marker off my car, it was baked onto my paint due to it sitting outside in the sun for so long and I still have the marker on my car. Have been to the car wash multiple times and have yet to remove all of it.

Lastly due to my car being a manual you have to obviously use an e-brake to keep it from rolling when it is parked. Before I took it here my brake worked perfectly fine but since I've gotten it back my brake will not fully disengage so I constantly have brake pad noise when driving. And I know for a fact they will deny any responsibility of my e-brake now needing service.

A completely unprofessional unreliable shop to go to. Poor respect for your vehicle and poor respect for their customers, please go anywhere but here.
