I was very pleased from the quote to completion. My van was involved in a hit and run. It is my business. They had me up and running as quickly as possible. Would recommend Carstar McKnight.

Sent my car for an appraisal through insurance, my car came back with even more issues because they failed to put my bumper back properly. My keyless entry system, and rear turn signals simply stopped working and the car started showing all the codes. Attached are the images.

My only complaint is I wish whoever's in charge of the shop gives you a call when work starts so they don't miss anything!

At first we were impressed with the service. However it took calling CARSTAR back 3 times before they got our cars damage appraisal to our adjuster. We are from another province.

What a good place to do business with. I took my car for door lock repairs. Everything from the quote to the quality of the work done was great. Would recommend this location without hesitation.

It has been wonderful experience. I took my car there to fixed for the hail damage. They were really always happy to assist and listens on what you think is an issue. They did their best to fixed them.
My husband took his car as well for a paint job and it was perfectly done. He is strictly meticulous with his car and praised that the job done was really excellent.
The manager Tracy, receptionist and main mechanic’s service was also above and beyond. Will strongly recommend it.

The service in Carstar McKnight is the best that I've ever received, they repair my truck in less time that was estimated and the quality is really impressive, my truck looks again like new. I highly recommend this shop to anyone.

Pat was knowledgeable, friendly and extremely helpful throughout my 3-week-long repair job at Carstar McKnight. Communication was excellent with regular email status updates. They delivered my vehicle back to the (original) Bowness location for my convenience. The car was detailed inside and out, plus a winter tire changeover was done at my request. I highly recommend using Carstar McKnight and Carstar Bowness in the event of an accident insurance claim as they help make a frustrating situation less so.

They did an incredible job with my vehicle's autobody needs and were so professional, organized and courteous not to mention very reasonable on their price estimate. The quality of their work was excellent. I drove a vehicle home that was practically like brand new - inside and out. They helped me in every way possible through what can be a difficult and expensive process to go through. If I needed their help with my vehicle in any way, I will go back to them without hesitation whatsoever. I can 100 % recommend them to anyone else. Thank you Carstar McKnight! To start with I was very concerned about the work that was going to be done to my new truck. It was hit by the hail storm.
When I was able to book the truck in for repair it was 3 weeks before my week of holidays. I let them know that I was planning a long week off and will need to have my truck back. When I got it in time for my trip there was a few things wrong. When I got back I called them and they took it right away and had it all fixed my truck looked new again.
I got the best service from Rob, and crews. They did a great job and I am very happy and impressed with the workmanship thanks for returning my truck back to new again.

I would recommend this shop to everyone.

Waste of my time, No communication, More damage to my truck caused by the employee that drove and then parked backwards in their front lot, ended up pushing the drivers side Borla 4 inch exhaust tip up into the roll pan thanks to the concrete parking block. Noticed my dash cam was unplugged when I picked up my truck, guess I know why now. Lied right to my face, won't happen again! June 24th 2020

As owner of A Laptop Shoppe, I am impressed with the prompt on time service by the Professional friendly staff. If the cleanliness of the washrooms and the organized front office is an indication of the whats behind the scenes the customer experience will be great.the waiting area is comfortable with leather furniture and a tv, as well as a deluxe Keurig dispenser and a cookie jar with fresh cookies, Very respectable.

I had a minor repair covered by insurance. Some bodywork, painting and replacement of a bumper were undertaken. The work took 4 days.

I appreciated the top level customer service - explanations of the process, updates and seemless integration with my insurance company and the rental car company.

Like the dentist, you never really want to go back, but this is where I'd go again.

They did a really nice job paint my 08 pearl white impreza hood and fenders due to a hit and run. Nice job matching the paint as well.

The staff were very efficient and had my car ready in a really tight timeline. They even cleaned it, which was way above and beyond. Overall a painless and fast service.

Terrible handling of an insurance claim. My truck was sent here after a theft based on the recommendation of my insurance company. TD definitely shares blame in the poor handling of this claim. On Carstar's part, communication was awful and they were very disorganized. I had to ask multiple times for the mechanical assessment which the adjustor had promised me was a standard first step. When I did finally get in for a walk-around, they were not prepared for me and hadn't reviewed anything prior. All my personal belongings had been laying in the box of the truck in the rain for over a week. They then promised to send me the updated estimate to talk through with my adjustor. I didn't hear anything for over a week at which point they claimed my truck was ready for pickup with no explanation of what had been done. There was more. Save yourself the headache, there are plenty of good mechanic and body shops in Calgary hungry for work these days. Carstar is not one of them.

Took 2 months to repair my car, which is fine, but they kept telling me every week that “it will be done in a few days”, for the entirety of the two months.

Told me they were not finished repairing the car and would contact me when the parts arrived. Never called me, never gave me the parts, but took the money for it.

The work they did on my car started to come off within 2 or 3 months. I called to ask what can be done, and the operator picked up the phone giggling, clearly in the middle of a conversation with someone. Then as I was asking him a question, he hung up on me.

This place is a joke.

July 24 2019 at 1: 02pm The guy who answered the call when I inquired to book an appointment for collision damage repair was unfriendly and sounded condescending on the phone, ended up cancelling the appointment. I'd rather bring my business elsewhere.

Poor customer service.
Don't waste your time and money dealing with those guys.

My vehicle was returned with further issues which did not exist before being in their shop. Would not recommend.

Went to Carstar Mcknight to get my car bumper repaired. They repaired my bumper but the colour of my bumper and my car is very far off, they painted the bumper darker compared to the body colour of my car. The communication by the staff about the status of my repair was terrible. 3 times I called and was told I would get a call back and each time I had to call again in find out what was going on.

I highly recommend this place, my car was broke into window smashed and a big scratch. My insurance told me about this place so I took my car to them. When I got there I was still mad about my car even crying. The guy works at the front desk he was helpful we started talking and he was tell me how he lives his car not locked at night suddenly I started feeling better and calm. They fixed my car in a week, they washed my car inside and outside. Thank you very much.

Staff are very nice and the facility is kept very clean. They have an area where customers can hang out while they wait for their vehicle to be serviced or etc. The area is stocked with coffee, tea and water and cookies and they also have a tv and charging station

Great staff, they did the best they could.but ultimately the insurance company makes the decision.
