CARSTAR Calgary Sunridge

They extended my pick date twice and when i got my vehicle back they installed a brand new bumper. Bumper paint was not matching the car paint and fitting of bumper was not good. Even the manager did not listen my concern. I do not recommend anyone to visit here.

These guys gave our insurance company an estimate, then when it came down to our appointment it to get done, they cancelled it 2 days before and claimed there is a part they need and they have NO IDEA when it can or will come in. Asked them " in a few weeks, a month, a year"? They said "sorry, we don't know". They purely screwed up the estimate and don't want to do the job. STAY AWAY from these guys.

Ladies in the front desk are super helpful, courteous and professional. They are knowledgeable about everything automotive and shows appreciation towards your business.

My insurance company recommended this shop, and they did not disappoint. The quality of repairs is superior and the customer service was excellent. The ladies at the front did a great job of keeping me updated. Great experience from start to finish!

Carstar service is very worst. My insurance company book carstar for my truck repair. And they provide the worst service as possible because they haven’t clean my truck from inside. In fact, there’s a airbag sign pop-up on my dashboard after I pick up my truck from carstar.when I go there and told them about the sign they ignored and said that it’s not their fault and trying to ignoring me. Moreover, they keep my truck’s spare tyre and the tyre cap. When I call them about it and they said let them if they the tyre so what this means they take my truck and forget and show like there’s only four tyres. This is very unprofessional behaviour of these guys. They charge for the radio system and but didn’t fixed it. They are fraud and never acce.t your faults. On the other hand, previously boyd autobody repair my truck and I really like their work. They vacuum and polish my truck from inside and their service is far better than carstar. So I wanna say for next never choose carstar for your truck repair. Try to avoid them if you don’t want any problems.
Your behaviour totally changed after getting the money from insurance company. You took more than 3 weeks to repair my truck but still it has problems. Today in the morning, you said no to solve the airbag sign problem. In fact you want money from me to repair but you already got money from insurance company.

I was sent company emails giving the dates that my vehicle would be ready and it never happened until the tenth notification. They had my vehicle for six months and never took proper care of it while it was in their possession. The opposite side of the vehicle was smashed into at their shop causing damage and they left it outside with all of the windows out causing damage to brand new leather in interior. The longer that they had it the more damage that would occur. They delivered it back to me in a filthy condition, and it was a brand new three week old vehicle when I took it in. I would not recommend this auto body shop to anyone, my experience was horrible!

Was rear-ended in December, took the first place my insurance suggested. I told my insurance company and carstar my vehicle was making noise from the tire that wasn't there prior. When I mentioned this to carstar I recieved instant attitude. I felt like he thought i was lying. When the vehicle was ready for pick up they only did the body work. However, when I asked if they found anything wrong with the suspension. He said they didn't hear anything when driving it so they didn't look. I said well Noone felt it pulling to the right!? He said no with enough attitude I was intimidated enough to not ask again. So I just took my vehicle and left. (My vehicle was parked when rear-ended and came out of the hospital to a note and #) I noticed a stone chip in my windshield and called him back. He denied taking the vehicle for a ride. So a said you just told me 10 mins ago you did and I had just had my windshield replaced that fall and it previously was not there. He got defensive and denied so there wasn't anything I could do about his lies. I then stopped for gas, walked to the back and noticed my brand new headlight was caked with mud inside so I had to call them back again and had extreme anxiety in doing so. I asked if I could just take the cover off and clean it myself because I so didn't want to deal with this bully again. Unfortunately she told me it needed to be replaced completely so I needed to bring it back in. I drove immediately back she looked and couldn't believe they installed it in the first place! Si she ordered the part and.eventually.it was replaced. However, my vehicle continued pulling and making noise. 2 mths later i cod afford to take it in for a tire rotation hoping this would remedy the problem, only to receive a call asking if is been hit recently and needed new, boots, cv joints and an axl! This company told me to call carstar back, but I just couldn't. I was bullied and left feeling like a woman who didn't know my truck! This was the worst treatment and misogynistic behavior from a business I've had, and will never recommend or enter this facility again!

Had a great experience with carstar sunridge, staff was great, updates on my truck while work was getting done was great. Finished product was amazing. I would recommend going to see them if your looking for professional results.

These guys used a cheap parts they Don't care about warranty unfortunately my insurance company send me to here.

My ford escape was finished before said time, i was so pleased with the work and service i was kept informed on the work and my escape looks beautiful again.i cant tell where the damage was and they even washed and cleaned my car.

Carstar Sunridge did an amazing job on my Jeep considering how much damage there was to it after I had struck a deer. The employees go the extra mile to ensure you're updated about the state of your car on top of the exceptional work they perform on the car itself. It looks brand new again and I feel safe driving it! Shannon and Sheldon were especially great to me during this experience. Thank-you!

The guys here are the best! Staff at the front are very nice, the manager of the store was very helpful and accommodating! They did a beautiful job with my car and got it to me right on time. Highly recommend this store!

Thanks to Shannon and the repair team for fixing my Corolla’a bumper! Great communication on the quote and repair. Pretty happy with the results, and car was nice and clean on the outside and inside when picked up.

My Tacoma was hit while parked. There was damage to the box side and half door. Melanie explained the repair process start to finish and the work was completed as expected. The body and paint work had it looking as good as new; I couldn’t tell where the damage was. I had an issue with the new rock guard not matching the original rock guard on the passenger side. Jordan reached out to me and brought the truck back in to match the passenger side rock guard to the driver’s side.
Both times my truck was in their shop, they returned it to me detailed inside an out and at no point were there any extra charges (beyond my insurance deductible).
The staff were all friendly and very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend this location.

I went to this location to get estimate for some small hail dents I have on my car.
I handed over my car for ~1 hour and they returned my car after inspection. After getting my car back I was VERY DISAPPOINTED to see small scratches on different places which are caused due to wiping the car with cloth for inspection. It seems like they just wiped it on top of dust on the car.

If they don't have a way to clean it with Water that the location, they should have notified me to get my car wash and I would have done touch-less car wash and have dropped it.

After notifying it to them, I took my car back and we went over it, after back and forth they agreed to do a buffing on my car as a customer service (at least that will work for me so that i'm not extremely disappointed) and they said they would call me and schedule the appointment in next 2 days. It has been more than 2 weeks and they didn't bother to call back. It seems like they said it for the time being and they don't honor their words.

If you want to make things right, you could still call me.

This the place you'd want to go for your repair! Excellent customer service. We are really having a hard time with our insurance company and Rebecca helped us. She is very knowledgeable, very helpful, and professional. Rebecca's customer service is phenomenal and it's beyond our expectation. I'd like to thank the management for having one of a kind employee! Kudos and we'll definitely recommend going to this place!

Recommended by my friends. After the fix I lost my tool kits and $150 gas cards. And the manager said “ we got broke in last week” and that’s it. They didn’t even finish their jobs properly, left my fixed part unscrewed.

They detailed the car after body work but they stole insurance, registration, coin purse and phone charger, this place is a joke.

Excellent service, they took my car right away they patiently explained me the whole process (as I was new in all this), they kept me updated with emails about the status of my car. The day I went to pick up car I had a hectic day and my debit card wasn’t working (I was short $20) I asked if I can etransfer to someone the money and the manager Carl Newton went above and beyond and he paid the $20 I was missing, I really appreciated his gesture and kindness. Rebecca (the receptionist) was very nice as well.

My vehicle was stolen and involved in an accident. My insurance company took 2 months to move it but once it was at Carstar, it was cleaned and fixed in less than a week. My vehicle was like new again!

Carstar was extremely helpful after my car got rear ended, even though It happened right before I was moving to BC and flying out for a holiday, they got the repair done by the time I came back. They also let me keep all my moving stuff in their office which saved me a lot of trouble. Shout out for Rebecca for making this happen!

Had a wonderful experience with this Carstar location. They took my car in right away, and daily I was emailed updates on where my car was in the process. They were eager and happy to answer any and all questions I may have had. Being a first accident and first car, it was a big relief. When I picked up my car, it looked so great! My vehicle was completed within the
time they had estimated me. I highly reccomend this shop!

I was taken care by Sunridge Carstar after my car was involved in a hit and run. This was the absolute best service I have ever recieved, they were extremely accommodating, friendly, and understanding. When I got my car back, i had noticed they had fixed some cosmetic damage from my previous accident that the other body shop never fixed. After experiencing a less than pleasing experience earlier this year with another body shop, I am so grateful for Carstar and every employee there. Highly recommend, and will 100% go there again.

My Fiance and I have been bringing our BMW to this location for as long as I remember and each time we're welcomed with friendly staff and quality work. This time around, we had someone carve out our bumper so Carl, Becca, and Lauren took care of everything swiftly with no hiccups. We always feel comfortable here since they're just good people that work here. Got my car back as if it were brand new and nothing happened to it.

If you need bodywork done on a car, you may as well bring it somewhere you know that will get the job done at a minimum cost. It's never fun getting a car fixed but these guys make it as painless as possible. That's why this is our shop of choice.

Arrived un announced with issue on back hatch not opening. Our insurance had emailed ahead saying we would drop in. Once we said our issue we were called by name and immediately assisted. Parts were order within 20 minutes and said they would arrive in the afternoon. Drop in the next morning for the repair. Instead within 1 1/2 hours they had the part and we drove back for the repair. The first part was not the issue once the back was opened. Correct parts ordered arriving in minutes and the repair completed well within the time frame estimated. EXCEPTIONAL customer service and very big relief for us. Staff went way beyond expectations.

My car has been at this location twice in the last 4 months for repairs, as i was involved in 3 not at fault accidents. Carstar Sunridge took care of the repairs for me. They were Awesome both times with excellent service, booking my rental, ordering parts, delivering my vehicle when they said the repairs would be done. Very courteous employees! 10 Stars!

This location has helped me twice now. First when my windows were smashed and now when I needed my side door fixed. They updated me about everything which put my mind to rest. They even cleaned out my car to look and smell like when I first purchased it!

Carl the manager at this location answered all of my questions and even looked into a new windshield for me. He called me within 15 min to let me know how much it would cost and offered to call me after the holiday weekend with a time to book in to get it replaced. Rarely do you see the manager engaging with customers, so this definitely stood out to me.

Great experience, customer service was beyond satisfactory! Carl and Rebecca were very polite and kind during this whole process and my car looks good as new!

My Truck (2017 Yukon XL) was 6 months old when a child took his bike down the side denting and making a large scratch on the passenger door and back door. Took my Truck to carstar and it came out with more damage then went in for. They said They would fix it but I dont want them to touch my truck again.
After I had posted this review I was contacted by the new manager, asked about what had happened. He had asked to have my new truck back in in order to fix what had been done.
I let him try and make things right. It took a few days but when I did go back and pick my truck up I was very impressed with the outcome.
I am still upset that it had to go back to get damage fixed that should not have been there in the first place but I am happy that my truck looked new again. The new manager was easy to deal with and talk to. I dont think I will be back Just with the fact that they did damage the paint on my truck and it was a bad experience with letting them fix a new truck. But I will give then credit for fixing the problems.
