On the door that was fixed they did not match the door handle with the original GM black matte finish,
They had a piece of foil tape on my interior door panel after removing the tape there is some sort of black calking showing in the crack that was not there before,
Where they painted to blend the oaint there is a run of paint. (Too hard to see in a photo).
Picking up my truck it was over minus 30, they decided to wash it, it was completely frozen I couldn’t even close my door properly all the way and when I got home in my garage I had to climb out the passenger side as it wouldn’t open, I had to crank my garage heater for quite a while in order for it to work.
Would never use CARSTAR again.

The vehicle was very clean, and the service after theft work was done was very good. But the fact that you removed all items inside the truck, manual, tools, extension shovel, all replacement fluids, bolts, special wheel lug adapter socket etc… and destroyed the items is very disturbing, and upsetting. $$$ Most of these items can be cleaned-because they are metal. I was never notified of the possible contamination drug test disposal procedure-what drugs were present Etc…. And that procedure doesn’t correlate with the pores materials left in the vehicle after your cleaning. Cardboard box with lug nuts, vinyl foam lug wrench cover. How can they be cleaned, but an expensive metal extension shovel cannot. Felt like I was exposed to a second theft.

You guys rock, truck looks better than new, not enough "O"s in smooooth for the service, everything on schedule as promised. THANK YOU!

Good customer service and good work. Had an insurance claim go through these guys and they were great start to finish quick and addressed my concern about a scratch that was still there after the repair and made it right no questions asked. Highly recommend.

After an unfortunate accident we had to bring our x3 the body shop for repair and normally I would not go with my insurance company's first recommended contractor however in this case I'm glad I did carstar nailed it their service their turnaround time quality of work was all amazing. UPDATE. After getting home I noticed some rub damage on a different part of my car that I hadn't noticed before. I contacted CARSTAR with my concern and they were very quick to reply. I went in so they could have a look at it, then we viewed the photos taken of my vehicle. Turns out the damage was there, I just had not seen it. Even knowing this, they offered to touch up the paint at no charge! This kind of exemplary and above & beyond service is what will have me back to get that damage fixed properly in the future and recommend CARSTAR North to anyone who needs stellar work and appreciates top notch customer service. Definitely worth 5 star +.

I needed some work done on my car as a result of someone running a shopping cart along the door and rear quarter panel. The insurance company recommended Carstar and based on some of the legitimate reviews on Google, I went there. I was pleased that I did so. Christina, their customer service specialist greeted me like a valued customer. She introduced me to Matt, their appraiser who did a thorough inspection. I then went back into the office and Christina indicated she could get me in sooner rather than later, as my car is a convertible and I wanted to sell it and was running out of prime time to do so. I picked the car up several days later and was pleased with the work, in addition, they did a thorough cleaning inside the car. Overall.a positive experience. Lastly, I like seeing companies supporting local non-profits and judging by the recognition they received on one wall of the office, kudo's to them. Give them a try.

Order wrong parts and washed my windows when I picked car up with a dirty glove took me 30 minutes to get the sludge off inside window

I had some repairs done to the box of my truck 6 years ago. I now have rust appearing on repair and the factory side still looks new. I would not recommend them if you want a quality job.

Had my catalytic converter replaced after being stolen (was referred by my insurance) terrible after market quality cannot drive with out all the windows down and even with them all down everyone in the cabin of the car will be dizzy and light headed not to mention the long terms effects of high levels of exposure to engine fumes.the engine fumes are not filtered Properly if you care about your health and especially your children’s do not have them fix your catalytic converter. (Update) I then took got my car looked at again and they told me it was just burning plastic and adhesive fumes that I should be fine and said they don’t know what else to tell me and will conduct no further repairs. I have basically been robbed by this company do not have them fix anything related to your catalytic converter because they have no care for the safety and welfare of this customers and have no problem with them suffocating on engine fumes.

Absolutely phenomenal service at CARSTAR Edmonton North! I took my vehicle in for a minor repair, and the service level simply could not be beat! From getting checked in to picking up my car, the team was fast, courteous, and made sure that they delivered on what they said they were going to, when they said they were going to.
The work was absolutely FLAWLESS too.
It was really apparent to me that they wanted to go the extra mile, even though it wasn't a huge job - it definitely shows what kind of people they have on their team and how committed to excellence they all are.

First time I used Carstar and highly recommend them. Christina and Albert were very professional and efficient. I was given the repair cost right away. They worked with my insurance agent Aviva directly. The car rental was arranged, car repair was completed on time and workmanship was terrific.

Put a claim to insurance and half hour they came got my vihcle fixed it in 4 days

We were a bit worried about bringing our car in so close to the Christmas holidays but we shouldn't have worried. They were remarkably fast, even with the holidays, and did a fantastic job.

Okay, This place is awesome. I brought my car there because i rear ended someone and EVERYONE i knew said,: yup, thats a wright off for sure". About a week later Carstar gave me my car back looking like brand fricken new. Its an old 2008 honda civic, but its also a really nice one and i wanted it back in good shape. I am so impressed by the work these guys did, paint job and everything It was flawless. There was one thing though. When i got my car back, they forgot program my car starter. So, when i called and mentioned it to them, they had someone come pick up my car from work while i was working, bring it back to the shop, program it and brought it back to me in no time. I was surprised because they also gave me 2 EARLS gift cards, both for $25, for the inconvenience. WOW! The cherry on top of the cake. Thank You so much Carstar! -Tash

I was recommended by my insurance company when I was rear ended last month. The people at this location were extremely friendly & helpful. The repairs took less time than was originally planned and they kept in contact with me the whole time was car was there. I even had a burned out headlight bulb before the accident & they fixed that for me too! Thank you!

Told me I would get a rental when bringing my car in and once I got there they told me I didn’t meet the age requirements when they never even asked about my age. Told me the car would be done in one day but then it actually took 3 and went over the weekend where I was left with no car and no source of transportation. Very poor communication.
