We checked out CarStar on the recommendation of a well respected friend.

Due to low riding cars and high curbs/parking wheel stops the
lower part of the bumper cracked. It was further damaged when
a chunk of ice fell off a car in front of me. The final blow came
when we drove onto the kids driveway in the middle of winter
and the drop from the street to the driveway took out the
bottom part of the bumper/front end.

James looked under the front end and came up with an
estimate that was far lower than I had expected (did some
minor research myself and came up with what I thought it might cost).

They scheduled an appointment for the next week and arranged
for a rental for us.

The car was taken in and returned on time and cleaned (to within
an inch/centimetre of its life).

It looks almost brand new. It even feels better driving it. (yeah,
I know.but that's how it feels).

The front office staff are super helpful and get the answers
as quickly as possible.

The front office is clean and, from what I could see from the
main doors, the shop looked immaculate; A good sign that
everyone cares.

Went through my insurance to fix some damage for a rear end. First off, they took it upon themselves to help me get my insurance company to give them confirmation that they needed for the fee to be waived. So helpful! Secondly, they were able to work with me in booking it in a timely fashion. Third, they booked my rental for me and got it scheduled to be there for me when I dropped my jeep off! Amazing! Fourth, I got my jeep back, and it was so beautiful and clean! They even cleaned a lot of dog hair and sticky kid mess in the front when they really did not have too! And it smelled amazing when I got it back! I was pleasantly shocked!

Both of the ladies I met at reception were super friendly and great for conversation while you wait!

The whole team here does a fantastic job. The front counter staff are welcoming and helpful and they kept us up to date on the repairs being done to my spouses vehicle with ongoing emails. The work completed was excellent and you would never know there were fairly extensive repairs done. Everything from the fit and finish of panels to the paint work is all nearly flawless. Dont hesitate to choose this CarStar location the next time you are in an accident, you wont be disappointed.

I have to say Carstar Edmonton South East goes above and beyond to help their customers. Ashley and Trent were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I felt like part of the Cartstar family when I got my car repaired after a minor collision.

Brought car in for a detailing and was told it would be 2 hours. No problem I’ll go wait at a McDonald’s. Called after 2 hours passed and was told it was still going to be another 1.5 hour wait. I would have made other arrangements if I was aware it would be that long of a wait ahead of time instead of wasting half my day at a McDonalds.

In response to your response. Free or not you offer a service. And because it was a coupon doesn’t mean you should offer a lesser service. It’s a matter of respect. It’s also matter of valuing someone’s time and showing that it matters as much as your time. If the time frame of completion was delayed you could have very easily provided a courtesy call so other arrangements could be made. I contemplated taking down the review as mistakes happen but after being yelled at by the owner I quickly changed my mind. After reading other negative reviews this isn’t the first time that management has been seen yelling at people.

I brought my vehicle here after a collision. Only positive experience all over. All questions were answered with honesty, vehicle was taken good care off. The final price went a bit above the estimate because of the hidden damage, but I appreciate the dedication in trying to do the right thing and fix everything in a proper way. I feel lucky to find a trustworthy business on my side of the city. I will be recommending this place to my friends.

Excellent service, I was so happy to see how they fixed my car after it had been hit on the rear end. Very accommodating!

Initial set-up, appointment booking was very good. Only got disappointed when they fail to show me the parts which were replaced on my vehicle and were wondering like, if I am asking for something weird.
It's not easy to trust anyone in this days, I will greatly appreciate if you can please make a user friendly policy and not laughed at your customer.

I am very happy with CARSTAR. They replaced the front bumper of my Dodge Journey exactly when they said it would be done after I had a mishap with a fire hydrant. I just picked up my vehicle today. When I looked inside I thought something was weird. Everything was clean inside. I had to take a second look. And believe me, my car was dirty inside. The outside of the vehicle was spotless as well. Thank you guys. They also set up for me a low-cost rental vehicle through Budget rent a car. When I dropped off my vehicle for the repair, they called budget and they came and picked me up and took me back to their location. When I returned the car to budget, they drove me back to CARSTAR to pick up my vehicle. That relieved a lot of stress for me. Thanks again. I will refer you to anybody. Sorry. Just noticed that I said the car rental company was Budget. It actually was Enterprise. And they were very nice people to deal with.

Today Jan 19 2022, I was across the Ave from CarStar Collision at the Tim Hortons. As I was pulling out of the parking lot, I witnessed a employee of Carstar yelling and swearing at someone in another vehicle. I could not believe the foul language comeing from this employee. I contacted Carstar when to complain about there employee, well I was surprised it was the Manager doing all the yelling and screaming in public right in front of the shop. If Management has this kind of attitude and can act like this in puplic, I am not sure this would be the place to get your vehicle fixed at. There are other CarStars in and around Edmonton, I would check them before I would use this Shop on 76 ave.

Very happy with the attentive staff who kept me in the loop the whole way, along with a more than satisfactory resolution to a broken trim piece that occurred during removal. I never would have asked for compensation, as it's bound to happen a 7 year old piece of plastic that is exposed to the elements daily, but when they offered to pay for part of the trim kit I was very pleased, along with the end result! I hope to never need them again, but I'm glad they are there if I do!

They were very clear on what had to be done and provided a detailed quote. The hood was replaced and the car now looks new (it is 3 years old). Very efficient and pleasant to work with.

The ladies and gentlemen that work here are an awesome bunch. Fixed my truck in just over a week and I had quite a bit of damage. They kept me updated on progress and pricing for parts, used good parts, and they were very friendly. Highly recommend these guys and would go back again though I hope I never have to.

I went to James with my cargo service van after an attempted break in and replacement of the door cylinder lock at the dealership. The damaged area was pushed in and no longer water resistant around the new lock. I just wanted it to look presentable. Above and beyond with an excellent quote price, and I had my van back for business in just 3 hours. The door indent was pushed back out, and made weather resistant again. 5 more stars for customer service suggesting some added security locks that led me to a pair of locks that will keep thieves from trying again. Carstar is now my go to!

Don’t believe the obvious fake reviews they give themselves. Went in for a quote $2010. Told because it is over $2000 I need to make a police report and get a sticker before any work will be done. I politely ask if they could reduce the 16.7 hours of labour to 16.6 to put it under $2000 and avoid the hassle. Told to go F*** myself the quote is what it is.

I really like Carstar because they are quite a bit cheaper than everywhere else I’ve looked at and they do excellent work. I highly recommend them I get all my bodywork and minor repair work done here. They are also very easy to deal with.

I took my car to CARSTAR because a homeless person had taken a squeegee to the taillight and smashed it while I was fueling up. Of course, they had no insurance so this one was on me! I picked CARSTAR as it was in the neighborhood, but I had never been there before. What an awesome customer service experience. The prices were extremely fair and the service exceptional. They did not immediately have the taillight in stock but because the bulbs were burnt out, the manager changed them for free so that I wouldn’t be driving around with no light. In the meantime, they went out of their way to try to get me an after-market part so that the cost would be less……awesome on their part and much appreciated by me. When the part did come in, they serviced it quickly including some windshield repairs and when I went to pick it up, it was clean with everything complete! In any event, if you are worried about where to go, try Carstar Edmonton South East.

The front office staff is always so friendly and helpful. I've used this location twice now for body shop work and I couldn't be happier with the quality of work they do.

Was recommended to me. Traveled 2 hours to have work done, front bumper and 3M and it was worth the extra drive. Truck was very clean when I picked it up and a friend who restores vehicles was impressed with the paint job. Nice people to deal with.

I've used this location of Carstar for my last two vehicle repairs. I have to say the repairs were perfect as well as the staff being friendly and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop.

Service was excellent! They provided curbside pickup, professional workmanship, was in and out in under 10 minutes. When I was finished with the rental, all I had to do was drop it back off at the body shop, they retrieve it for you! Highly recommend

Got my car fixed here through my insurance. The girl working thr front desk (I believe her name is Danielle) as so nice and very helpful. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because the parking here is terrible. Getting out of the lot is tough due to so many cars parking on the street that you have major blind spots and can get into an accident very easily. Other than that my repairs were done quickly, estimate took around 20 mins and everyone I met there was very friendly!

Expensive, below average repair quality, as of 3 years ago. Haven't been there since.

Had a wonderful experience with this repair shop. Was in the middle of winter, so they were busy but were flexible enough to get my car in the day I called. Provided me with the estimates, and they set me up with a rental. All in all, was an easy and seemless.

I took my car in to CARSTAR just off Argyll Road to get some body/paint work done. I had been a repeat customer at this point, as they advertise themselves as the cheaper yet equal in quality alternative to other auto body shops in the city. Since I wasn’t going through insurance the manager tried to save me money where he could for labour costs, which I appreciated. I later experienced issues with the paint chipping off in certain areas in large pieces. I took my car in to CARSTAR and at first the Manager tried to blame the paint chipping on the paint itself, which caused me great confusion. I told the Manager that I was under the impression that CARSTAR offered a Lifetime Warranty on their paint work, so I was even more confused. The Manager then left briefly and returned a short time later, stating his shop would repaint the part. When I picked up my vehicle, I inspected the paint work and noticed the colour of the paint was shades lighter than the original surrounding paint. It didn’t appear at all to be colour-matched as I was told. After giving me the keys to my car, the Manager walked outside with me and said he didn’t want me to return to his shop, as my car is an “eyesore” and “a chore to work on”. He was extremely rude and disrespectful toward me and I left feeling deflated and as though I had done something horribly wrong. This was after spending countless thousands of dollars at CARSTAR through multiple visits. I currently have other paint failing in the areas of my car they worked on, however I am reluctant to return to CARSTAR, as the experience I had was one of the worst experiences of my life.

Went to tjem to get my rear bumper repainted. They did a great job and was quick.would recommend them.
