Rude on the phone, be prepared to wait 1-2 weeks for your estimate. I went and got 4 other estimates same day else where.

Edited- it is not necessarily about the missing stuff from the break in, it is about the lack of communication/how they handled it and the negligence of leaving my car a.unlocked for this to happen in the first place and b.in an area that is in a blind spot of their cameras.

Have dealt with them twice- initially were good, car came back looking good as new (did take a long time) but had to go back in due to a missed repair. However, during the second time through the shop, my car was broken into- most likely due to it being left unlocked by an employee as there was no broken windows or anything. I had not left the lot when I noticed that papers and things were everywhere. Things were completely rifled through, some emergency money, gift cards and other belongings were taken from the middle (hidden) part of car. Took zero responsibility and stated that it fell on me as the car owner despite the fact it happened when they had my car under their responsibility. Further to that, there was no communication from them for over two weeks and I had to call 3 times in order to get any form of answer from them about the break-in. They also stated “there was no video footage as my car was in a blindspot” that they parked it in, mind you, and that “this is the times we live in and it falls to you as the car owner. " At this moment, would not recommend.

I tend not to respond to these kinds of "Do you think I'm pretty? " requests, but Carstar really wants to know. So. The door of my car was damaged during a visit to the dealership and they use Carstar for all their body shop needs so that's where I went. After a lengthy wait for an appointment, the car was returned to me after about a week without the rub strip trim installed. The car is older ('08) and I wondered if there was a problem finding parts. No, I was told, they just forgot to put it on. But I could just come in and they'd apply the strip while I waited. Really? You want me to alter my schedule, drive all the way over there and hang around while you correct your mistake. How 'bout you send a tech to my house to fix things instead? After another couple of days, the dealership came by, picked up the car, took it to the bodyshop, had the repair completed and brought it back. So my review: They make dumb mistakes and don't own up to them.

They are unprofessional… its wastage of time and money to dealing with these guys. Never ever recommended to anyone.

Brought my car in expecting that they would want to sell me a new bumper, but put the old one securely back in place and didn't even charge for it.

I had been victim of a hit & run and my SUV Toyota Highlander 2021 was repaired by them. They are just AMAZING! Etana, the girl at the front desk was always in contact me with me providing me with updates about the repairs. Stephan & Joel; the two main mechanics did a fantastic job on the vehicles. They even clean the vehicle before returning it back to be. They handled the rental process really well too. 5 Star Service. Very professional, friendly, just wonderful. I am very satisfied and happy. Thank you for everything. Keep it up guys! Highly recommended.

Had a great experience when I took in my wife's brand new Infiniti SUV for some repairs. Great customer service right from the first person you meet at the reception - polite, professional, efficient and very friendly. Bonus? You don't even get to spend too long there and you can get on with your day. I would recommend this car shop all day everyday!

Wonderful experience at Carstar. My insurance recommended to have my car taken here due to location and I was impressed! They did the best they could with having my car towed - unfortunately the weather delayed a couple things. However, they maintained professional and humorous interaction via telephone. Car was finished within less then 3 days with great detailing to the inside and outside of my car. Truly, I was very amazed. Would go back in a heart beat!

Was pushed by insurance company to use this repair center. Dropping the vehicle off was helped by a pleasant employee and felt assured. 1 week later after not hearing anything I called and asked on the status of my vehicle. The person that helped me was no longer with them and I was told they were waiting on parts and my vehicle should be ready in 2-3 days. I had to call myself again as they hadn't called me and was told they were waiting on parts and my vehicle should be ready in 2-3 days. Finally after 3 weeks I picked up my vehicle to find there was damage present on the door panel, caused by their technician during the repair, and still broken glass inside the vehicle. The advisor was apologetic and said they would bring the vehicle back in to repair. At this point I was frustrated but the people I dealt with seemed to be trying.

When I dropped my vehicle off to have the door panel damage repaired I spoke with who I believe was the assistant manager. She was rude and essentially laughed at me when I raised the concern of there still being broken glass inside the vehicle. Her response was that there will always be glass pieces surfacing and it was going to be my problem, almost like my 2 year old vehicle was now trash and the $2k repair that included glass cleanup didn't mean they would clean all the glass.

After the fact my vehicle has been repaired to an acceptable standard but the service I received from Carstar was disappointing and the leader of the business was incredibly unprofessional. The game that these repair centers and insurance companies play is a joke and the victim is the consumer that has already dealt with our vehicles being damaged or vandalized.

My experience with CarStar was phenomenal. Theresa was great throughout the repair, keeping in touch with me and the turn around time was quick and the work was excellent. I would highly recommend CarStar Ellerslie to my family and friends in a heart beat. Thank you!

Every CARSTAR is a joke been to 3 different ones every time multiple issues and always a massive run around to get things sorted out if at all always left with a bad experience 3rd time wasn’t a charm they’ve left me high and dry with an improper repair once again definitely wouldn’t recommend any CARSTAR if you value your vehicle!

Got in a fender bender, my own fault. Was arranged through my insurance for Carstar. Yes, the job done was great! Can’t even tell I backed into a truck. They even noticed damage I hadn’t, like a tiny crack in rear tail light.

But that isn’t why I would give them 5 stars. It is because their customer service skills are phenomenal. They truly went above and beyond to help in ways that made me a loyal Carstar Ellerslie customer for life. Have already told a couple of people about my experience there. Can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of us!

Pick-up truck was hit by another vehicle and we brought the truck here. The estimate was completed in a timely manner and once the okay to proceed was given, CarStars Ellerslie did an amazing job. The work was not good, it seems like the technicians are not very experienced. They took a week longer than expected, the quoted price almost doubled, They did some scratches on my car, and didn't clean it properly after finished. I have been at some other places before where they give you your car back astonishingly clean interior and exterior. Disappointed!

I was helped here by Mark, and he was absolutely amazing! He explained everything for me and took the time to ask me how I was doing after my accident. My car was done in 5 days, and they gave it back to me looking brand new. If I ever need car repairs again, I will be coming back here for sure! Thanks again Mark!

Excellent service from start to finish. The bodywork and finish were done exceptionally well and is indistinguishable from the original factory paint. I have used Carstar Ellerslie several times, and they do great work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

I had pushed a deer off the highway and damaged my front end. Their quote was well below that of the dealership and the job was perfect. The color matched perfectly and they were very fast.
On top of this they cleaned my truck and sanitized to protect their employees and myself from transferring Covid.
They are definitely my first choice if I needed anymore body work

Carstar Ellerslie was great! The appraisal process was quick and to the point and they were able to fit our car in within the week. They were very quick to respond to emails and made the process fast and painless. They told us they would have it for 2 days but they managed to get it back to us even sooner and it looks great. They also cleaned it for us to keep it looking fantastic! Would definitely recommend.

They did a great job replacing the bumper and painting the fender.
The colors matched perfectly they also did detailed cleaning ofvthe interior, my wife was really happy to see her car returned to her like new.

The customer service and workmanship at all of his Carstar locations is second to none! Work is always done perfectly, delivered on time, and I've always been treated great! Unbelieveable Service. I am blown and away with how kind the Manger Cory is at this location. I came in for a small detail and asked Lisa who works there if they were busy. Although they were busy Cory, got up and asked how he could help. I asked him if he could assist me in taking my license plate off as the screws were stripped and I just sold the vehicle in the area. Without any hesitation he grabbed a screwdriver and came to help me. The issue was the plate hasn't been taken off for 10 years, so what did he do? He asked if it was ok to take my vehicle into their busy bay and have some one take care of it. WOW UNBELIEVABLE. I am so grateful for companies like this and people like Lisa and Cory. Thank you so much and I will be recommending this place of business in the very near future.

Very friendly and informed staff! They were honest and very professional. Had I decided to get my car repaired I would have taken it here for sure!

Received my car after two weeks only partially finished, had to return my vehicle with a list of items that they still had to fix. Instead of having a discussion with me on the issues, I felt like the advisor just immediately tried to divert the blame. I don't know if it was just how he talks but I found his tone pretty condescending and irritated me quite a bit. There were damage from the accident where they refused to acknowledge or just said it was the best they can do. The paint match on the pearl white paint was well done though, and I did get my vehicle back at the promised date.

I went over my gfs vehicle before taking it in. They argued about replacing a tire that was clearly damaged but once I got the insurance company involved all of a sudden it was wet when inspecting.job looks well done.too well done. Let me explain. Vehicle hit curb and ran over sign. Front bumper, grille and rad had a clear mark where the impact hit UNDER the car. They replaced both head lights for sure for no reason. No tabs were possibly broken. I may have not had to pay for this but the whole job is without a doubt questionable and the insurance company will find out.

Pretty frustrated with the service I recieved here. I called to have hail damage assessed, and when I declined their offered appointment time because it didn't work for me, he told me he couldn't help me because I hadn't been referred by insurance. Odd, but ok. My insurance company informed me this was inaccurate, but referred me anyway to avoid the headache. Carstarz called to book me in on Friday. When I arrived they had no idea what was going on, and even though they had me scheduled, they had no one available to do an assessment and told me to come back Friday. Frustrating, but it happens. I called to confirm my new appointment and asked if I could drop it off early, and come back to pick it up before they closed- they assured me this was totally fine - when I arrived early, the receptionist was once again confused and told me I couldn't drop off early, and I needed to be there for my appointment, despite being assured otherwise. So I left and came back. No one even talked to me during tthe assessment while I sat there for an hour. I wasnt consulted, didn't sign any paper work, nothing. There was absolutely no reason I needed to sit there for the duration. I'm not sure if this place has a staff issue, training issue, or a communication issue, but needless to say I would not recommend it to anyone who has other options.

So far so good, the car was suppose to take 4 days but some delays happened regarding some damage that was found when the bumper came off. Needed more parts. Thats no issue to me because I had a rental provided to me. Picking up the car up today will update in about a week on how the car is running. Dropped off the car with no mechanical problems or noises, will update on if the car comes back in the same condition.

Very happy with the customer care that Carstar provided me. They're very courteous and accommodating! If the quality of repair matches the kind of customer care they're giving me, then I feel like my car will be in safe hands.

We got our rear end damage fixed here and they were fantastic. We dropped it off quickly on Tuesday morning and got a call by Friday morning that it was ready to be picked up. It looked brand new and they even cleaned up the interior. I would highly recommend this location.

As working at Enterprise whenever they require any pick up or assistance and no matter how they busy all staff professionally well behaved all the time whenever I walk in front of reception.
