CARSTAR Fort McMurray

Brought my truck in for an insurance repair and frankly the service couldn't have been worse. They have a simple IOU part that has taken me 4 re-visits to complete over a 3 month period and as of this date, still not installed. Still no call-back. Still getting the run-around. The techs are great but the leadership and customer service are exceptionally poor.

These people have had my truck since July for minor repairs on my door and lower rocker panel. Still not done amd my parts are no where in sight

I got the best service and the manager there here name is Jessica. She was very awesome. And very good to deal with. I was very happy with there service

Very helpful and friendly staff. Fair quote I like the fact they try to complete the job below the quoted price very transparent. I was surprised they gave a complimentary wash and cleaning inside the vehicle. I am very pleased with the outcome of my vehicle and woukd highly recommend. The staff is very pleasant to deal with. There is also a shuttle service you can utilize to get home after dropping your vehicle off.

Had my windshield replaced was told after the fact that there is no warranty on glass. I called them an hour or so after picking up my car to let them know the front collision alert wasn't working. I left a message but got no call back.

These guys always do such Quality work. Near perfect repairs so I'm happy. A few wrinkles in the road lost 1 star but at the end of the day I was taken care of and my truck is fixed.

Great place for repairs if you want to wait ages to get your vehicle back. Been waiting on repairs to be finished since mid September. Was supposed to be done October 31st, but every time I call they’re waiting on parts even though “we just received the last part so probably by the end of the week. ” Usually I’m pretty patient and I get parts issues, but it’s just ridiculous at this point. Starting to think they meant Oct 31st 2023…

I had my vehicle go here after it was hit for repairs covered under insurance, they told me the tire may not be covered it really wasn’t bad still drivable and I informed them that if it’s not covered don’t change it as I’m not trying to spend a couple hundred dollars if I don’t have to l. They changed the tire and it wasn’t covered wouldn’t release my vehicle regardless of what was agreed upon. Very disappointed and don’t like being robbed like this.

I highly recommend! Their work is excellent, staff is communicative and friendly, and work is completed in a timely manner. Don't go anywhere else!

Great customer service. Works well with insurance companys. I had the front bumper replaced and they missed one piece. After a follow up call they got it in and replace the same day.

Fixed a dent in my rear bumper for free. Took all of fifteen minutes. Friendly service, will be returning as needed.

Took my car for windshield replacement and was disappointed with the condition of my car on return. Interior all messed up with dirty shoes, dust stain marks on new roof, stain marks on interior plastic, wipers out of alignment. I was not expecting this condition on my new 2021 model. Upon complaint to the front desk lady, initially she was not cooperative and not accepting responsibility, showed unprofessional attitude. Upon insisting to talk to somebody who can come and at least have a look. Finally some other person from shop looked and accepted the responsibility, cleaned and fixed the wipers. Being a professional company this rude behaviour from front desk lady and unprofessional work is not acceptable by all means.

Above was my second time experience.

First time When I took my same vehicle for some bumper repair, found out some below panels were not fixed properly with missing bolts. I should have given my review at first time, but thought May give Carstar a chance as small things happen, but upon my second experience as mentioned above, it appears that facility is habitual with poor workmanship.

Tony in the bodyshop had my family leaving feeling cared for. Often weary of automotive shops but this was very personable and professional!

Tried booking their service. Kept calling them and being told I would get a call back or email within a few minutes. It's been 4 days. Terrible customer service.

They have signs in the waiting room priding themselves on “we will communicate with you if any delays occur” AND “you will be kept informed regarding the status of your vehicle” this is the furthest from the truth! My estimated pick up date was 5-6 days my car was there for 14+ days and I had to come back again. The disorganization and headaches I went through with this location is too long to type out. The customer service needs an upgrade. I had to call over and over again to get any information or my car would probably still be sitting there. I’m disappointed with what I went through. I was going to give 1 star, but I decided to give 2, only to be nice as they did end up getting my car fix and to me eventually, BUT only after I harassed with phone calls and with an upset tone. Sad.

Great company. Went above and beyond with the repairs. Got in a collision couple weeks ago and they made my door look like brand new. They even fixed some rust that was on prior to accident for no extra cost.

We didn't had really good experiences with auto shops before and CarStar went far and beyond up our expectations. They did an excellent job with repairs on our truck and we are very happy with the results. We are really proud that we choose that company and we really recommend it! A big thank you to CarStar!

Carstar does excellent work. My vehicle was repaired properly and returned to me looking absolutely perfect. Accidents happen and carstar made it right again. Will def be using this shop for future work to my vehicle. Big Thanks to the fort McMurray Carstar team.
