CARSTAR St. Albert

Wouldnt even take 30 seconds to talk to me about the car when i popped in. "By appointment only" if you were busy id understand but i seen the boys just chilling in the shop. Never been pushed away before. Is my money not good enough for you?

Excellent experience here. They were very professional and the whole process was as painless as possible, from car rental to repairs. They took care of everything and I am very satisfied with their customer service and the quality of the work. Thank you!

I brought my car in for a warranty claimed that another Carstar location had previously completed (Fort Sask location had permanently closed). I was warrantying the paint work because the paint had started to bubble and it was only repaired about a year ago. St. Albert location was super helpful throughout the warranty process, very friendly staff, and had awesome customer service by doing the repair themselves since the other location closed, providing a rental vehicle during the repair, and doing an great job re-doing the paint work - no questions asked. I really appreciate the warranty process being seamless and their willingness to make sure the service provided was excellent.

Moreover, when I picked up my car, the signal light wasn't working. They invited me to bring my car back and double check all my lights were plugged in properly and installed a new bulb for free.

My daughter’s car was rear ended and we used Carstar for repair. They were excellent to deal with from the initial repair inspection/quote to the actual repair/pickup. They even exceeded the expected timeline of 9 days to only 7. The repair looks great. I feel I can safely recommend this business.

Took my Mercedes to Carstar for a hit and run damage. Carstar was one of the shops recommended by TD Insurance. Very pleasant receptionist. Service was excellent in rental car arrangement and repair info provided. The repair work was excellent and even detailed the vehicle before handing it back to me. So impressed I will take me classic Alfa there for a new paint job next summer.

I wish I could give zero stars. I took my car here after someone backed into my car leaving a hole in my front bumper. These guys literally made it worse. The first time I picked up my car they put a brand new bumper on my car, fabulous thats perfect! BUT they put it on first (with the wrong paint colour) then put the grill in, FORCING it in and leaving over 15 scratches on my brand new bumper, touch up painted it and sent it on its merry way.and the badge sat crooked and stuck out. SO I said I was upset and they wanted to "make it right". Against my better judgement I let them try again. The second time I picked up my car, the colour was WORSE (it was orange red, my car is cherry red) and the badge was the wrong colour. The previous one was painted black, they sent me home with a gold one and told me I "didn't want the black one anyways" I asked if they still had it so they could put the black one on, the worker literally told me "It got covered in paint and stuff so I threw it out". Omg. I took it to gateway car star after that and they did an AMAZING job, even painted my badge black for me so it actually matched the back one as it should.

Their job is to put your car back to how it was immediately prior to the loss, Please save yourself the headache and don't go to this location.

CarStar did an excellent job! The staff was professional, very friendly and prompt with their service. They had a rental car arranged for me (however I did not end up needing one because my car was fixed so quickly)! I was pleasantly surprised when I picked up my car…it looked brand new, inside and out! I definitely would return to CarStar and I most certainly recommend them to others.

Had a top notch experience with Carstar St. Albert, Eric Fournier was a pleasure to deal with, I was a bit emotional about my truck and he took his time and let me vent for awhile even though he was slammed with work. Its good to deal with people who understand the human aspect of things and it's greatly appreciated.

I went to get an estimate for my car in May. Its the middle of August now and Eric still hasnt got back to me with the quote (which was supposed to be done within 3 days). I called back a few times and the reason they came up with was that the internet was down, the next time there was a change in staff so apparently they couldnt find the quote. Today I called back and they informed me that they are focussing on cars that are being fixed through insurance. So all in all my quote wasnt completed because i wanted to pay out of pocket. Thats a shame, youd think that regardless of how the repair is paid for you should at least get treated equally. Or at least get an estimate without lying or pushing you aside. I wouldnt recommend going here, im not sure how good their work is. Maybe its good, maybe not. But i can tell you one thing, they wont serve someone paying out of pocket.

I am happy overall with my experience at Carstar in St Albert, the only thing that I did not like too much was being told they would have my vehicle for 5 business days but ended up being 6.75 which screwed up my schedule.

Not satisfied with my last transaction at the St. Albert location.
Noticed a had a screw missing on my wheel well trim, it was removed and re-used on my mud flap. Secondly, I had asked for my old bumper back because there weren't much damage to it besides slightly bent, which I never got back. Picked up my vehicle and nobody even did a walk around with me. Not sure if the management has changed at this location, but I definitely noticed a decline in service.

I am very happy with CARSTAR St. Albert. They worked with my insurance company seamlessly and also helped with arranging the rental car service (Enterprise). They did a great job on my bumper and side mirror and even detailed my vehicle!

First of all, there was a long wait to get an appointment - 6 weeks. I agreed to it because they are within walking distance to my home.

Then the day before my car was to go in for repairs, they sent me a text saying "unforeseen circumstances" has caused them to cancel the appointment, and offer a date.three weeks later. Altogether, more than two months after the initial time of booking.

I had an experience once before in which they messed up a repair job, due to lack of communication amongst their staff. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I tried them again this time. That is enough chances. I would give them zero stars if this allowed it.

I am very impressed with the quality of the service provided at Carstar St. Albert. My Jeep was returned back to me all fixed in less than 5 days with no reminder whatsoever of what had happened before. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the car was fully detailed, with two bottles of water and fresh scent inside. Thanks guys!
