We met with Brandon T for our new build and he was great! From the minute we started our appointment Brandon was attentive to what we were looking for. He provided many great suggestions that matched our style we were trying to achieve. The picking process was seamless a lot of great options! Cartwright was quick to provide quotes. Love that they send a picture document with all the selections as it gets overwhelming. Easy to make changes and modifications. Great customer service all around. Will definitely be back!

We went into the store to look for a few lights for our home reno. The selection was overwhelming. When we asked for assistance we were greeted by Brandon. He was AMAZING. He showed us several options based on the rooms were looking to upgrade the lighting for. Everything we chose was in stock, was brought to the front of the store, was checked for quality control before we left the store. 10/10 will be recommending to others.

Just finished my lighting selection with Cartwright last week, the specialist we dealt with, Brandon, was professional, friendly and very pleasant to work with, which made the process a very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend.

I’m the guy in the black truck one of your geniuses nearly just killed coming south on Deerfoot half an hour ago. After that brilliant display in judgment making me floor my breaks to avoid hitting you and nearly being rear ended at 100km/h plus the fact you did it in a van with the company name and contact on it makes you a special kind of stupid.
I wouldn’t trust you with a stool let alone lighting.

No thanks to contacting you now. I had emailed prior to posting my review. Your company dismissed my concerns and now that I made a online review you are suddenly concerned with customer service. What a joke and too late. Will never return to your store and will not recommend.

My husband and I renovated our kitchen and required new lighting. When one walks into a store like cartwright lighting, it can be overwhelming and intimidating. We were fortunate to have Alex Press guide us through the process. With a few questions, he was able to help us narrow down the options. We are extremely happy with the lighting we selected. My husband and I just built a new home. We bought our light fixtures from Cartwright. Alicia and Drew were excellent! Their level of professionalism, knowledge and expertise was very helpful.

Exceptional service. Even though they did not have the lightbulb I needed to replace one for my facility, they promptly referred me to another location just to be able to help me out. I accidentally damaged a light fixture and wanted to get it repaired. I called Cartwright and was pleasantly surprised when they told me to bring it In and they could look at it. Victoria greeted me at the counter and she called Olga in their service department. Olga quickly assessed the problem and to my surprise told me she could repair the fixture and it would take 20 minutes. She quickly did the repair and I was charged a surprisingly fair price, far less then expected. So nice to see such great customer service.

Everything you can imagine to satisfy your lighting needs. The fixtures are in fact.magical. Great customer service to boot:) Big thumbs up.

Kim is the best sales representative plus I was impressed when a manager dropped down to the greet area when 2 people where waiting. He was concerned. Not like a plumbing store nearby where you have to beg for customer service.

Our new lights are installed and my husband and I are so thrilled! We needed some new lights for our kitchen and dining room and decided to visit Cartwright Lighting a week ago. We had a GREAT experience; excellent customer service and quality products. That day just happened to be one of their charity days where they donate 100% of their entire day sales to charity. Seriously, great company! You should check them out!

Be sure to inspect the lights before you leave. Although the box looked new, someone had obviously tried to install it, scratch and scuffed and then returned it. We live out of town so ended up just installing it but will not shop there again.

Horrible customer service. I placed my order a month ago, the salesperson told me it would take a 2 weeks to ship. Few weeks later, nothing showed up and no follow up. 2 weeks after the initial promise time a delivery was scheduled. None of which I had any complaints to.there was no contact prior to the arrival of the delivery team to confirm i would be able to receive the shipment and an employee (Rebecca) decided to adopt a passive aggressive approach to me and threatened additional charges. I ended up requesting a full refund solely because of the grossly disrespectful customer service for no sensible reason. If you have any self respect, take your business elsewhere.

Tony made the lighting selection a breeze and turned an overwhelming process into a comfortable selection experience.

The sales team is steller here! The store was super busy, but the sales person took her time with us and made sure we had the right light for our needs.

Picking out lighting for our new house was an incredible experience with Tony. His insight and guidance was only exceeded by his wonderful customer service. I highly recommend Cartwright for lighting that spans the entire range of affordable to luxury.

This is my first stop for lights. One stop shop with lots of selection and you can get your bulbs at the same time. They carry a wide range of affordable options and the best part is that they have alot of product in stock if you don't have lots of lead time on your order. Only criticism is that I'm often looking for something trendy (from design blogs or higher end brands) and they are a couple months behind to get a good selection in that style at the store so you have to wait.

Not only does Cartwright lighting have a vast selection of beautiful lights to upgrade your home, their installers were the best example of customer service that I have seen in over a decade! I mean it! If you have the opportunity to request Kristian and Derrick to install your new lights, I highly recommend them. They are thoughtful, polite, funny and really know their craft - they installed my lights flawlessly! They showed up on time, as well. They made sure I was set up for success, mentioning tips for other, older, existing lights that I had in my home as they suggested the best bulbs to replace lights and showed me how to do it myself. They clearly went over and above by giving me tips beyond the new light fixtures that I bought through Cartwright. I could also tell that they took great pride in their work, because when I was raving about how happy I was with the result of the light fixtures being installed, I think they were equally as happy! Thank you again, Kristian and Derrick! If I could select more than 5 stars, I would!

This is the first review I have ever written. I would suggest trying a different store. My fixture was only coming from Edmonton and took 2 full weeks. I called after one week and the order had not been placed properly and had to be adjusted. I clearly remember, when the order was input, the salesperson was talking to the trainee about which bulbs to include (they decided on the same ones as the display). Upon pickup, no bulbs were included. I will not be back.

Can't say enough about the customer service at Cartwright. We recently had an issue with a purchased item and it was replaced with no questions asked. Definitely our source for lighting needs.

Best lighting store in the city! Plenty of parking just watch leaving the parking lot for the road as the hill gets icy and will bottom out your car if you have it lowered. Best to go on weekdays as it gets very busy on Saturday.

Did the lighting for my second home through Cartwright. Very knowledgeable sales team, get a lot of compliments on our lighting.

Working with Cartwright Lighting on our new Condo and Geri in sales has been absolutely fantastic to deal with. We gave her a picture of a light we had seen and she took the time to track it down for us (amazing)! We ran into an issue regarding the ordering of a couple of the lights and Byron called me the next day and took care of it.great customer service! I highly recommend Cartwright Lighting for their great selection, professional sales team and management!

Our experience started off positive however did not end that way. The sales person missed ordering our pendant lights (3 months ago) and they are now a 5 week wait. We decided on a different set however it took 40 mins just to pick them up. The girl at the front couldn’t find our order, then couldn’t find our account, and walked around aimlessly instead of asking for help. We finally suggested that she look us up by phone number and she had everything in a matter of seconds. Total waste of time. Not one apology about all of the mix ups. Really disappointed in the service.

I found to much product mixed up with other products. Very expensive as well even found sale items expensive.

Great staff and lighting options. That being said, the LED lights they supply for new builds are terrible. Why we had to pay to "upgrade" to LED is beyond me.

Easy to browse at your leisure. Prices and options are very well marked, but if you have any questions, the staff are very knowledgeable and happy to help.

Amazing selection of light fixtures. They just cant always get one offs and need serial numbers for odd bulbs and coverings. Still.very nice and friendly people.

Great service, selection and surprisingly decent pricing. Sure you can spend $10,000 on a crystal chandelier, but we spent only $150 on a stylish front entry light that was unique and seemingly well-manufactured.

David has been very helpful each and every time I have been in the showroom. In my opinion, Cartwright has the best selection of lighting in Calgary.

Tony the owner is extremely rude and condescending. He looks down upon you and has horrible customer service skills. I wouldn't recommend this place primarily because of him. His staff however isn't bad.

Amazing store with great selections and pricings. Alicia was outstanding, she was very patient, not the least bit pushy, and super helpful.

We had purchased some fixtures from here and the first time we had to replace the bulb it broke and Cartwright would not replace it they soaked us over 200.00 the service tech was great not impressed with this company never will I purchase anything from this company again
